Online pictures were waaaay better than in person. Doors to rooms from exterior. Had to go up creepy area of steps to get to our floor. Pool was way smaller than in pictures. Walked by people's rooms with the door open and the family were all laying in the 2 beds! We didn't care to see them. The room was clean. I'll give them that. We immediately booked a different hotel in Key Largo and left this one the next morning. The price was NOT cheap for this hotel either. Was to stay the following month with ladies but felt it was not for us...the whole stair thing and doors on outside felt unsafe. The questions in this survey for this hotel have nothing to do with whether you should stay here...did it have an iron? Did it have luggage storage? did staff speak french? Really?

5 star service! Had a fab time. Diamond Member upgrade for our anniversary was STELLAR! Nothing bad to say about Bakers Cay. NOTHING. This place is fantastic. A small upscale boutique resort that is amazing. The beach areas are brilliant as is the feeling of resting in the mangrove trees on the water. Service was great. Restaurants were great too. Would not hesitate to return. A shout out to the ENTIRE TEAM for one of best vacations we've ever had.

Located in Key Largo, FL, Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection offers 178 luxury rooms, suites, bungalows and a beach house. The hotel amenities include a spa, a pool, on-site dining and indoor/outdoor event space.
We stayed at Playa Largo for a night prior to our family vacation elsewhere in the Keys. However, we wish we would have booked all our days here. The resort was beautiful, the food fantastic, but the best part was the staff....Elena Lopez Amaya in particular. From the moment we checked in she attended to all of my family's needs. She made the stay even that much better.

Was to stay at another hotel in Key Largo but it was gross so we moved here the next day. It was a wise choice. Standard Hampton Inn quality but they carved out a little beach area that was nice. Had free paddle board and canoes. Beach side cabana for a drink each afternoon. Nice pool area. Definitely do the sunset cruise by Captain Larry...was great!!!

Waterfront cottages located in the heart of Key Largo. Enjoy spectacular sunsets, relax in a hammock, bbq, kayak, scuba, snorkel, all in the charming setting of the Old Florida Keys. Family owned and operated.
The location is everything for this resort great beach front and a quirky breakfast each morning. The owner was super friendly and would help with anything to make your stay. However bear in mind if you have problems with insects they are everywhere and they bit!!!! All we wanted was a simple room with one bed but would have expected a bit more room and furniture. All I can say it was an experience

My husband and I stayed at this property for 3 nights from May 27-30 , for the first time. We love Key Largo so we stayed there several times in different hotels. The Reefhouse is clean, we liked our room (#204), and the common areas, we compared the Reefhouse to Baker's Cay and Playa Largo resorts , and the service, prices at the bar and the food is better at the Reefhouse ... ... BUT... on Saturday & Sunday a lot of "guests" from outside the property invaded the hotel, especially the pool and the beach. They were noisy, with lots of food from outside and loud music. We found out they were not staying at the hotel because they said it loudly and kept calling more friends and family to come over to the hotel. The parking was full, the chairs at the pool and beach more than impossible, the bar terrible but the worst was the noise! I understand it was a holiday, but If all the guests are given a bracelet at the check in it should be enforced that everyone uses it We'll give this property a second chance, maybe Memorial weekend is a very special date..

I have wanted to stay in Coconut Palm Inn since we had to cancel due to Hurricane Irma! When we arrived in Miami in 2017 & had to phone & cancel the person I spoke to was so lovely & refunded our money in full, it was on my list to one day stay & this year was it! We were not disappointed we stayed for two amazing nights in room 3. The room was spotless, good aircon, lovely neat bathroom with a good shower. The room was compact with everything we needed (except a bottle opener but reception gave us one). Tim & Tracy were fabulous nothing was too much bother. Wine is brought round at 7pm (a lovely touch) & the fire pit is lite at 8pm with S’mores for everyone. We loved this & it’s nice to meet other guests. The gardens are well kept & beautiful lots of seating to relax in. There is a restaurant within walking distance Tim told us about & you can have food delivered. There are several good restaurants a short drive away, in the end we had a nice lunch out & stayed in to enjoy the S’mores. Breakfast is delivered in a basket (muffins & apples). Would absolutely love to stay again although if I could choose I’d like room 4 or 5. Thanks Tim & Tracy for a lovely stay.

Set on Blackwater Sound, this laid-back dive resort is 2 miles from the snorkeling and boat tours at the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Casual accommodations range from unfussy rooms with colorful decor, to airy apartments with porches and hammocks overlooking the water. All have TVs, fridges and microwaves; some include kitchens and dining tables. Snorkeling gear and equipment storage are complimentary. Amenities include an outdoor pool, a sun deck, and a beach area. Scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking and reef fishing are offered for a fee.
We stayed in an updated 1 bedroom apt at the resort. Everything was new and clean, I only wish there were more tables in the place, apt #4, it had ONLY 1 small dining table. But the AC was awesome and kitchen amenities perfect. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool and sunsets on the resort's beach. Extremely friendly resort and dive staff, Shout out to the boat crews, they were awesome. We're already talking about returning there. Late May was a tricky month to go for diving, a weather system eliminated a couple of our dive days, but glad to know Amoray played it safe with the dive conditions.

All 32 of The Pelican's clean and quiet cottage rooms offer different options for relaxing and enjoying all that the Florida Keys has to offer. From experiencing the unique, laid-back bayfront atmosphere, to trying your hand at world-class sportfishing, diving and snorkeling , you are sure to find an activity that suits your tastes. And if that sounds too active, head to our small bayfront beach, where you can enjoy glorious sunsets, gentle breezes, a nap in a hammock or watch manatees and dolphins play.
Florida nostalgia without the mildew smell! We stayed in the Dolphin and greatly appreciated the water view and the supper clean room. We’ve been visiting south Florida for 30 years and this place is a great mix of comfort with “years gone by.” If you want a typical hotel experience, go somewhere else. Also, if you want to bicker about a clearly outlined cancellation policy, go somewhere else. If you want personal/on the water, old school Florida, this is it. By example, when we missed our opportunity to take pictures of the sunset, Rick at the front desk sent us some of his professional level photos to remember it by.

Kona Kai is a classic Keys experience; the perfect alternative if you're seeking to avoid the crowds and formality of a big resort.
My husband and I visited Kona Kai while Key hopping for our 25th wedding anniversary in May. This is the cutest little resort ever and the staff is the friendliest we've encountered. They are so kind and gave us lots of suggestions for restaurants and made our reservations for us. The resort is quiet and tranquil. The garden is beautiful and beach is private. The pool is small, but nice and there are shady areas to relax in. Grab a book and read in the hammock on the beach. Rooms are like small apartments with a living area and full kitchen. This worked great for us as he's a morning person and I'm a night owl. Highly recommend doing a jet sky tour while you're there. The island is beautiful and by water is a great way to take it all in. If you are looking for a quaint little resort with super friendly staff, Kona Kai is the place for you.
