Reviewed By EstherH1989We arrived after a long drive from Tuscany at the hotel. Looked really well. Stad was very friendly and took care of a proper service. Hotelroom was very neat and clean. A man from the reception walked with us and gave us a quick explanation of the room and the key. After this we reserved a table in the restaurant. It was a busy Friday night. Schnitzel was very nice and also was the salad. Price-quality was very good! On some parts i even think its worth a fourth star.

Hotel near the Europapark Rust. And close to the A5 motorway between Offenburg and Freiburg im Breisgau. Many attractive offers for groups, bus tours, meeting and families. There are also affordable 3-bed and 4-bed rooms, e.g. families who make a short trip to EUROPAPARK. Restaurant with a terrace, sauna and swimming pool. Conference Room with modern equipment. In the hotel, WiFi and internet station are free. And there is an exclusive Havanna Bar just for Cigar Smokers. Sports facilities for our guests: Indoor and outdoor tennis courts, squash court, tennis lessons, fitness center, badminton, swimming pool, wellness and sauna.
Dangerous & Unsafe for Families
Reviewed By Great Island MA truly awful experience, we stayed after a long day at Europark, we booked 2 rooms for family of 5. Having requested them close to each other we found they were on opposite sides of the hotel. Worse than that the bar & restaurant were closed when we arrived at 7.45pm. We went out and returned at 9.15pm to find the front door locked & no Porter. We looked on the website to find night access doors to the rooms and there were 3. We entered after a long external circumference walk in the dark the section where our triple room was. We then found you couldn't access the our other room from I side the hotel. We had to again go outside and search for another access door to those rooms walking around the outside of the hotel again in the dark. Truly bizarre & just dangerous. Rooms Curtain rail needed three curtains only had two.

Classic Classic German Cuisine Skillfully Prepared
Reviewed By nmis2222The dinner menu offers from classic to rather sophisticated german main courses, perfectly executed by a chef that certainly knows his craft well. I can wholeheartedly recommend the fish with a delicate 'Riesling'-Sauce. The deserts, while delicous and certainly worth their modest price, unfortunately pale in comparisson to the excellent main courses. Overall, we were tremendously satisfied with the experience and would recommend that this restaurant is even worth a small detour on your travels.

Great local food
Reviewed By JensPetterStrommenWe stopped for a dinner on our way from south of France to Norway. They had a large menu, but we both had a three-coarse meal. It started with a vegetable-soup, then a nice green salad, a lamb-steak and a rhubarb and strawberry dessert. We had a glass of local red winer. It was all very good and fantastic for the low price. Very good and quick service, clean toilettes - as all over Germany.

Fantastic Apartment for Families
Reviewed By dodcohenStayed here for 9 nights, in a modern and spacious apartment: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen with a dining table and a living room. The owner family is hospitable and assist in everything you need - even advice on when is the best timing for Europa park (which is very close by - 15min drive). The location is right on the freeway, and although there is quite a drive to the heart of the back forest, it wasn't too bad. All and all a very good place for traveling to Alsace (France) , south to Basel (Switzerland) and of course the Europa park. Highly recommended.
