Earl's Regent is aimed at local and foreign travelers who insist on staying in a hotel fit for royalty, just steps away from many of Kandy's most glittering attractions. The hotel's 87 elegantly-appointed Rooms providing the utmost in privacy and comfort.
The fantastic Earls Regent Hotel in Kandy is well managed. As you reach the hotel you are met by pleasant and helpful staff at the reception who are polite and efficient. The hotel has a beautiful ambience, fragrance with fresh flowers and a comfortable atmosphere. It's easy to discuss all your needs with any staff member as they all are very knowledgeable. There is a pool and a gym. The dinning area is very clean and well maintained, the breakfast is buffet or menu and is delicious. In my view Regent is a hotel with 5 star service.

A slice of Heaven… Nestled in the Hantana Hills Theva sits overlooking Kandy town. As you drive through the windy roads up the Hantana hills one can see the ethereal glistening of small city lights filling the night sky. An undoubtedly magical entrance to this boutique hotel. The food is divine and prepared with the utmost devotion and attention to detail. The Chef and his team have really been able to bring world-class food to this remote location.
Theva Residency was absolutely stunning, the views were breath taking, the food was top notch and the service was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable, and as it was our first time in Sri Lanka they were very generous in giving advice and recommendations. 5 stars all day long I would definitely recommend the Theva Residency if you plan on visiting Kandy or nearby cities.

This Luxury Hotel is the first of its kind situated in the old city of Kandy within the Sacred Temple area. The Temple of the Tooth and the Palace compound along with the many significant Devalas, Museums and Historic Monuments of a city that has been shaped by Royalty for over 400 years are located a few footsteps around The Radh Hotel. Magnificently located in the ancient hill capital of Kandy, Sri Lanka, The Radh Hotel is an oasis of calm and unrivalled luxury. With exterior design and interior décor inspired by design motifs that are unique to the Kandyan Kingdom, The Radh is also an architectural masterpiece, a perfect fusion of the classic & contemporary. A luxury boutique hotel with 30 rooms and suites, The Radh is so named as a tribute to the former ‘Royal’ glory of the ancient Kingdom of Kandy and its splendid heritage. If you’re a connoisseur of culture, history, refinement and taste, The Radh is your perfect abode in Kandy. Our Guests will be able to immerse themselves in this rich history as well as stroll further to the picturesque Kandy Lake and its romantic walkways, experience the hustle of the busy markets and shops along small alleyways inside the city while enjoying dining at our restaurant which houses Cafe Nihonbashi and its authentic Japanese Cuisine along with a few masterpieces of Srilankan infused dishes created exclusively by Chef Dharshan Munidasa who is the most successful Restauranteur in the country.
Cute boutique hotel, ideally located, a quick walk to the temp,e of the tooth relic, the lake, the shopping mall and downtown Kandy. The decor is lovely, modern, rooms decorated tastefully with all the amenities you could need in your room. We were lucky enough to have a room with a small balcony that looked out over the hustle and bustle of the streets. Note that due to the proximity of this hotel to the temple they do not serve alcohol nor do they permit you to bring alcohol on to the premises. Room was clean, friendly and helpful staff who helped us with local dinner locations and grabbing a tuk tuk for us. Breakfast was simple and basic but all you needed to start the day. Would highly recommend this quaint little gem in the middle of Kandy.

Good : Beautiful hotel. Very well designed - the rooms, facilities, pool and dining areas are in great locations. The whole complex is clean and very well maintained. Our food was mostly very good. The staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you. The hotel is up a very steep hill so you do need a driver to take you anywhere. Not so good : They need a good welcome introduction to introduce themselves and give details about the hotel. We were very disappointed to have staff go through our bin and then charge us for wine that we had bought. The hotel does not have a liquor license so cannot offer a alcohol menu. On our first night, we asked for some wine and were charged around £17 per bottle. The following day, we took our own and the staff went through our bins and charged us for what we had bought. We didn’t feel this was acceptable at all. Overall, it is a very good hotel. If they can offer a welcome introduction and also change their alcohol situation then it would be much better.

Nestled between mist-covered hills and tropical tea plantations, Radisson Hotel Kandy in Sri Lanka is a 2-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. A few minutes from Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic), the popular attractions in this UNESCO World Heritage City are also less than 10 minutes away.
We stayed one night at the Radison early May, which had just been taken over from Ozo. Due to this, there was some construction going on, but we were not in any way bothered by noise or else. Rooms were nice, staff were friendly, food at breakfast and dinner were good and the rooftop pool excellent for actual swimming. We got to enjoy it like a private pool/bar area due to the limited number of guests coming to Sri Lanka while we were there related to Covid, and local and international turmoil. The hotel is a 3 minutes walk from the lake.
