The Best Western Valley Hotel is a 3 star country house hotel, set on the banks of the River Severn in the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, surrounded by stunning award winning parkland, making it very favorable to both the corporate and leisure guests. This Georgian listed building has 44 individually designed en-suite bedrooms. All have complimentary WIFI, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen televisions. The award winning Chez Maw Restaurant is a stylish and relaxing place to dine.
Set in beautiful gardens on the banks of the river and a stones throw from the Ironbridge this hotel is a dream for those wanting to relax and unwind after some local sight seeing. Staff are all friendly welcoming and very polite. The food is far better than I expected, all fresh and very well cooked. Breakfast was lovely. (Fussy chefs review). Beds and bed linen were of a high standard and we're very comfortable. We stayed in room 1 and had expected to be a noisey stay but was pleasantly surprised as we heard nothing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel in the future.

Six en suite rooms - including one family room with double and adjoining twin bedroom. Bath and shower room, separate toilet.
This hotel is absolutely perfect for a few days in Ironbridge! The location is excellent - there is free parking at the hotel, so the car is there for excursions, but the centre of Ironbridge with shops and restaurants is only a 10 minute walk down the road. The hotel itself was beautiful. We stayed in room 2 and had a lovely view over the gardens at the back of the hotel. The room is beautifully furnished, with plenty of space and perfect handy touches, such as tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer, wine glasses. Finally, we had breakfast included in our stay, which was served in the pub attached. It was delicious! Perfectly cooked and served by Sue, the most delightful lady! We will definitely stay here again!

Bridge View Guest House is set next to the historic Iron Bridge. This charming guest house sits above a delightful tea room serving food all day. When the Iron Bridge was built in 1779, artists, travellers and even industrial spies flocked to see it. At Bridge View Guest House, you can admire the striking ironwork while enjoying full English or continental breakfast. Bridge View's rooms are spacious and elegant in style, with pretty paintings and contemporary decor. Bathrobes and free toiletries feature in each en suite bathroom, and benefits also include a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, and an iPod docking station. There is also a fridge with complementary content. Free Wi-Fi is offered. A short stroll along the River Severn will take you to a range of restaurants and eateries. Ironbridge Gorge Museum can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot, and Telford is about a 10-minute drive away.
Brilliant stay. Lovely little touches. Would definitely stay again! We had a wonderful time. Breakfast lovely. Everyone was so helpful. Nice spot, great place to stay to visit family and friends. The weather was lovely oh and the bath! Looking over the bridge!

Arrived in Ironbridge , picked up the key to be told it has its own private car park just a couple of minutes walk away. It’s basically a bedroom and bathroom but immaculately kept with everything you need and everything working , along with complementary snacks and soft drinks in the mini fridge. Definitely coming back to Ironbridge and definitely staying here.

Gorgeous hotel in stunning setting. Super friendly and helpful team, especially Cat on Reception, who was kind enough to help with some wedding emergency printing. Thanks Cat! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

They love dogs in this pub. A happy place with a good mix of locals. I particularly liked the 'old soak' drinking wine at the bar. Good real ale but very poor food. Great to see local partridge on the menu but it was poorly cooked. Smoked haddock gratin was insipid, meagre and decidedly lacking in fish!

Turns out this place has turned into a s*@t hole My mother in law stayed and suffered from diarrhoea and sickness and that was only after having the worst cook breakfast she’s ever eaten. She was left to stay in a room on her own because the pub was closed and even when it was open there was no restaurant facilities available because they had no chef Myself and my wife stayed here two years ago and we had a lovely time. The chef at the time was a nice guy called Paul and he cooked an amazing breakfast and during the evening he really looked after us both Becky what happened? Seems you have taken your eye off the ball. My mother in law was told by one of the regulars that Paul carried you ? Seems he wasn’t wrong. It’s a shame to see such a lovely place being run so poorly Holdens sort it out
