When I walked into the hotel, the first impression got me. I was staying in a museum! The second impression I got was "where is the rest of the room"? I guess that's my fault because I booked a small cheap room thinking I was just going to be there for one night. Next time I'm going to pay more and get a bigger room. The one downer was the walls were so thin, I could hear the kids from two rooms away. At least they were having fun while I was trying to sleep. Great location, nice historical building, good breakfast.

False advertising. We stayed last weekend and we are still talking about it now, talk about leaving a mark... not in a good way. We had a couple of issues with this resort and I'll enumerate: 1. We were told we are going to stay at the 5 stories Bolifugao Premier. When we arrived, we wore told that the room was taken down since it collapsed. Had they mentioned this before we never would have pushed thru with the reservation. Granted the initial booking was pre-pandemic, but we were told as late as 1 week ago that the room is still available. The staff told us that they are trying to "clean up" all the reservations, so perhaps that's the reason why they were not upfront about the room availability. 2. The air-conditioning is too weak to cover the large room (Stonesomething) they had to put it high powered electric fans and even that is not enough. Also, the TV is not working, the staff said they don't have a signal. 3. Mice, cockroaches, and mosquitoes. We left our food at the table and when we woke up there were mice droppings on it, the bed also had some mice droppings and we also found a roach egg under the pillow. One of our friends got bit by a roach also while sleeping and we had to hunt down the roach as big as my thumb. 4. The pools are a bit filthy. Grime and "lumot" can be found in the main pool, it's too slippery also and just plain walking can be a challenge when ur inside the pool. 5. The staff told us that the Cafe Bar was open 24hrs, but around 5am there's no one manning the bar and no personnel can be found. I personally had to go through the kitchen and refill our jug of water. *If I wanted to steal something, I could have since THERES NO ONE AROUND. 6. I don't see myself bringing small kids here since the rocks are very sharp and they are all over the place. The pathways are also very unstable and any small kids or ever senior citizens would have a hard time navigating around the resort. 7. They advertise different "bamboo" oriented vehicles to ride but all of those are either broken or full of rust already, nothing is functional (carriage, jeepney, tricycle). 8. They offered us one of the large rooms, and they gave us the "extended weekends rate" we did NOT stay during the extended weekends, we came from work on a Friday and went to work on Monday. This is a classic example of the "let's chalk this to experience" type of situation. We would have left and not stayed, but they told us that the deposit could not be refunded already, thus we were forced to stay 1 night.

We went there on June 4 for an overnight stay as that is the only available slot. The place was ok and not impressive as the pictures, a bit unkempt but the worst part are the services. The place is quite isolated. Even if you are a guest you have to make a reservation in their only restaurant in order to have dinner at the buffet, Mind you, front desk does not inform most of their guests of this upon check in. We were refused entry at the resto and many guests had no choice but to find their luck outside the "resort" Lucky for them and unlucky for us we told front desk that we were never advised upon check in so they allowed to go on. It turned out we have to order from the limited menu since they still won't allow us to eat from the buffet. We reluctantly agreed as we have seniors and children in tow who don't wanna drive out. Our food came in batches with 30 minute interval each time. First the tomato soup that tastes like it came from a can. Then the sad ceasar salad, next came the seafood fritters which consist of, french fries. calamares that tastes like rubber and battered canned tuna. After almost 2 hours we can't take it any longer and just asked them to serve the fried chicken to go. We paid over 6,000 pesos. When we got to our rooms, the fried chicken were all burned, tasting like charcoal. I was livid at this point but still i coolly asked the manager what he can offer He washed his hands and blamed the chef! He begrudgingly gave me the option to refund the chicken or he can cook us another batch. It was already 10:30 I asked him if they can buy us food outside as I am so reluctant at this point to eat the food. He said he can't risk his staff at night So I told him that he has inconvenienced his guests and now we are all hungry with nowhere to go I ordered him to refund us the chicken and make sure to cook another batch with no charge. Told him this is the worst service and they claim to be a 5 star resort! The meal was delivered to our rooms at almost 11:30 with a slice of apology cake The next day the breakfast buffet came in second worst! Slice of hotdogs, runny scrambled eggs, danggit and giniling with a side of over riped fruits! Worst hotel!

Went there for an overnight stay . After the welcome drinks we got to check in. The veranda facing pool family room was spacious. Comfortable beds. AC just fine, it was scorching hot outside and I guess that will do. Toilet had poor exhaust but it has amenities and there is a bidet. Water amply provided but cable Cignal Tv was erratic. Wifi provision was really ok. What I liked is the beachfront availability, and the 2 pools , the older one and the infinity. Letdown was the restaurant though , they lost my spouses reservation , but we still had dinner there. . Breakfast was slow , but they should thoroughly consider making it a buffet set up since other resorts offer better morning meal choices. Staff are generally more of the good than the bad. Loved it when some of the housekeeping would say “Awesome morning “ ! What gets me excited is that they are constructing a huge hotel facing the ocean. The main lobby and the infinity pool is already being utilised. Views from many of the rooms promise to be fantastic. Now that is something “Awesome” to look forward to.

Majestic natural wonders, world class accommodation and amenities, plus the warmth and friendliness of the service staff make Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort the ideal destination for blissful relaxation. Whether you like a refreshing swim within the resort’s outdoor pools, frolic along stretches of unspoiled cerulean beaches, in the mood for serious outdoor adventure or a quiet dignified retreat, we have it all for you. Visit us and experience the ultimate fun and freedom under the sun. Bathe in the glistening waters, blessed by natural beauty and serenity of its surroundings. Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort is truly a jewel of the Philippine Isle. Its gleaming pools and airy interiors are artful creations evoking the mysteries of the past along with the serendipitous scent of the present.
I could not express enough of how pleased i am with the services that every Puerto del Sol individual do for the guests. They, especially the Front-Desk & Security, are well coordinated with each other and this makes me feel safe being inside the compound. I sensed that they aim for perfection by addressing the tiniest detail in and around the resort. I would like to think that they even have already perfected the processes on operating a resort eg. guaranteeing efficiency on queue management at breakfast, checking-in and checking-out, booking for reservations, accurate accounting and tracking of your bills. Hungry or thirsty, no problem! They provide easy access for you where you can place your orders and this is paired with efficient delivery despite of how large the resort is. During these times of Pandemic (Qtr1-2022), I also see that they have seriously taken into consideration the "social distancing" concerns our world has to face today. Food is also just delicious and priced at par with any restaurant in Bolinao, hence, PDS is already paradise - why go out to eat when you already have everything you need within! Daily breakfast (and we've stayed there for a total of 8 days on two different occasions) always have new offerings everyday, each one as good as the previous day. I give 5 stars for quality and taste in every plate of fruit, oriental to American and especially Filipino dishes. I will leave it up to the others to feedback on the amenities. The pictures speak for themselves. I'm good with the cleanliness, landscaping, quality of rooms and sheets, etc. My two-cents, Puerto del Sol is the best resort in Bolinao in-terms of amenities. And lastly, I celebrated my 50th birthday at PDS by choice. You see, I have had a good experience during my first stay there and decided this is where I'd like to celebrate my DAY. And by sheer chance, the Resort Manager learned about the birthday dinner event and he went out of his way to make it extra special : providing service by extending his team to set-up a long dinner table by the beach, offered us the catch of the day (fresh fish). Thank you, Sir Leo and Chef Jeff. I will surely be back - and if you're looking for a time-out of the hustle and bustle of the city - this is definitely worth the trip.

The hotel is making history with 26 beautifully styled condotel units within the FIRST Condominium Building built in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. The units which range in size from 35 to 86 Square Meters are classified as standard, deluxe, superior, grand superior and family suites, with separate living areas, kitchens and dining rooms. This boutique hotel offers luxury accomodations in a quiet residential neighborhood close to the historic Crisologo Street, the main plaza, the Vigan Public Market on Alcantara Street, the Convention Center and a host of interesting commercial and historical sites. The well-appointed units open to a lush tropical central atrium. An added bonus is a well-equipped gym and cozy dining area designed for the discriminating traveler.
The main reason we chose Paradores was because of the parking space which other nearby hotels do not have, in addition to being close to the tourist spots of Vigan. We were a family of three (3) adults and the Deluxe room we chose has more than enough space for us. Paradores is noted for having courteous, friendly and accommodating staff and this was proven during our three-day stay there. We will come back, for sure, in case we visit Vigan City again.

A Hotel Resorts and Restobar close to Saud’s famous pristine white sand beach in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in March 2022. It is very reasonably priced for the location and amenities. Even though it's not on the beach, it is 1-2 minutes walk to a beautiful spot by the beach. The property has 2 swimming pools which are well maintained and an onsite restaurant (adults and kids). Onsite parking available as well. The breakfast was included and well worth the price. Even the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The room even though it was basic, was clean, hot water was available and the beds were comfortable. TV had English channels as well. WiFi was ok. The staff were very friendly and accommodated any requests. (like drinking water for the room or extra towels) It's a very peaceful place to stay and gets all the basics right. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Pagudpud.
