A lovely two nights spent at the Cube. Dirk and Patrick were incredibly helpful whilst organising our stay and providing recommendations. Once there, Taku was a fantastic host and he and his family looked after us so well… their breakfasts were amazing! Would highly recommend.

The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, our local harbour, restaurants, shops, spas and a brand new gym across the road.Calamari at the Chapmans Peak Restaurant was voted "one of top 20 things to do in Cape Town." A perfect spot for watching the sun go down. This combination of stunning location, in-house restaurant, & conference facilities makes this Hout Bay hotel a unique choice.
We were due to attend a wedding at the Suikerbossie Wedding Venue and decided to overnight at the nearby Chapman's Peak Hotel. It was a fantastic decision. We enjoyed their best in the Cape Calamari for lunch and indulged in their excellent, extensive wine list as well. We enjoyed a night cap on our return, after the wedding and had a wonderful night's sleep in their upmarket luxurious room. We awoke to the most picturesque view and enjoyed a delicious breakfast on their terrace. Their staff were most attentive and made us feel very welcome and special, seldom found these days. Spoil yourselves and spend time at this exceptional venue.

Great location, great views and exceptional styling. Great service in a quiet neighborhood. The house and rooms are very well furnished, with high quality furnishings, yet remaining comfortable. For a business trip, the 08h30 breakfast service is a little late in the morning, but the breakfast served is very good.

Lush river banks, cool mountain forests and a central location set amongst Hout Bay’s equestrian elite make Waterland Lodge an enchanting and idyllic setting to stay and rest whether visiting for business or leisure. Family owned and run by Grant and Silvia Viljoen and their two young sons Sébastian and Gabriel, its expansive grounds ensure each self-catering cottage is secluded yet beautifully blended into its natural landscape of secret gardens leading down to the banks of the rushing Hout Bay River, and watched over by towering oak trees, scampering squirrel and glorious birdlife busily going about their day. I only spent a night, but was very touched by the little thoughtful things that Erica and Gerald did - lie a few bananas to sustain me on my hike. The accommodation was lovely, clean and inviting. Would certainly recommend for a longer visit.

The Hout Bay Manor, built in 1871, is renowned as one of Cape Town’s most graceful landmarks. The recently restored Hout Bay Manor offers 16 individually designed en-suite rooms and a sophisticated EAT Restaurant, protected by century-old oak trees, was built from stone (600mm thick walls) and in traditional Cape Colonial style by Jacob Trautmann on an unspoiled piece of land, which had previously been part of the Kronendal Estate.
My love and I, had the MOST brilliant time at Hout Bay Manor. The staff were approachable, genteel & adroit. They met our every outlandish request and whim with earnest zeal and a smiling sense of humor. The cocktails were delectable, and the panacota desert - needless to say, one of the most difficult dishes de get spot on - was absolutely flawless. And the Sangoma room - what a marvel! Where do I even begin? A true seer in inanimate form; she is as beautiful as she is homely and psychedelic. Paying the extra amount for the honour to bathing in her majesty, is most indubitably worth it. Gratitude Manor House, we'll be back, quilts and all, xxx

The Hout Bay Hideaway is a peaceful luxurious Guest House overlooking the ocean, mountains and beach of Hout Bay, accommodating a maximum of 9 guests in 4 beautifully furnished rooms. Only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and beach and only a 20 minutes easy drive from the center of Cape Town.
My stay at the Hout Bay Hideaway was one of the best holidays I can remember. The accommodation was indulgent comfort at its best. A quiet setting in an indigenous garden and abundant birdlife. The weather was perfect and I was grateful to have the saltwater swimming pool to dip into. The hosts, Sue and Martin, were kind and gracious and made me feel at home.

Poseidon Guest House provides quirky, comfortable accommodation in Hout Bay in Cape Town. The town of Hout Bay surrounds its own Atlantic seaboard bay and harbour, with the world famous Chapman's Peak in close proximity.
Had a fantastic restful and enjoyable stay. Owners great, food and service great as well and the views from the room awesome Hout Bay is one of our go to places for the open space. The sea and long beach and the weather come together and with various cafes and bars to visit relaxation is guaranteed Strongly recommend a walk on the jetties and through the harbour and also a visit to the market. Would recommend an Uber from the airport rather than a taxi (and back again) Our one disappointment has nothing to do with the guest house or location, but the airport - wanted to leave luggage there on our final day, checked internet and latest news suggested a short term bag store. Arrived at airport only to find bag stores closed That said everything else great Thank you - we will be back

The Victorskloof Guest Lodge is a tranquil oasis of green with amazing views of the Hout Bay valley, beach, bay and surrounding mountains. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-stocked and the owners go out of their way to cater for everyone. The beautiful lush garden receives the same care as the guests and thrives, ensuring you'll wake up with birdsong. The pool area is a great place to spend the days you don't want to go and explore. But as the lodge is located perfectly for trips to Hout Bay itself, Llandudno, Cape Town, Constantia or further down the Cape Peninsula, those days will be few. There is too much to do and see. The staff prepares a beautiful breakfast every morning and is helpful and friendly in every way. We spend a month with Lilian and Derek and have found ourselves being treated as family rather than as guests. Now being residents of Hout Bay, we will most certainly use this lodge as the go-to place for anyone visiting us.

I stayed in December 2019. I planned to stay for 7 days. In 2018 i stayed in the same lodge for same season. In 2019 i felt the service was poor. Because of poor service i decided to cut short my holiday. Unfortunately the hotel manager charged me for extra days. I will consider going back to same hotel twice next time. Kirsten must improve her management skills. Even this note in the shared kitchen seems rude.
