Thanks to its location just to the south of Kruger National Park, Hazyview makes a great base for safari expeditions and adventure tours. It’s an animal lover’s paradise, with opportunities to engage with elephants, ride rescue horses through the hills, spot one or more species on “The Big 5” list, and much more. You can also tour coffee farms, splash in waterfalls or sink into relaxation at an area spa.

We only got a one night stay rather than two as planned due to a flight change and on arrival we were so disappointed we weren’t staying longer! Although it was raining, the location and facilities are stunning and we had such a warm welcome from all of the staff. Having stayed in another hotel where the food wasn’t great, we were so pleased to have such a lovely meal in a cosy setting, the food was great. On return to our room, the team had run a bath and decorated for our honeymoon with a bottle of champagne on chill and a fruit platter which was a lovely touch. Would recommend to all and just gutted we didn’t get to stay longer!

Bambuu Lakeside Lodge is sprawled out on the banks of its own private lake. Its reflection in the calm waters is a promise of the luxury, peace and tranquility it has to offer. Easily accessible from the main road between Hazyview and Sabie, the lodge is the perfect base from which to experience the pride of South Africa's conservation efforts, the Kruger National Park as well as the world-famous Panorama Route with sites like God's Window, Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon.
Beautiful place indeed but rules sucks. The wont allow me to bring my own beverages and yet they cannot provide 3 of my required beverages. Alcohol is not your business, so to force it and focus on filling the beds in your place. I want o drink what i like and not what you have and enforce it on me. I wont visit it again only because of that.

We camped for 2 nights with family. The fact that each camp site have it's own bathroom is a nice plus. The sites is mostly in the shade and the grass is neatly cut. Because there is only 4 sites, make this so peaceful and quiet for everyone. We did not use it, but saw that there is a small menu with pizza and toasties which I think is brilliant. Please just keep some milk and maybe bread in your little shop for people staying long that do not want to drive all the way in to Hazyview. I can recommend this for any person looking for a beautiful place to camp.

Overall a great experience! The gentleman at reception (I can’t remember his name) went above and beyond for us during our stay. He checked in on us regularly and sorted out all the bookings for the activities and a breakfast pack the night before if you couldn’t make breakfast in the morning. The service is 10/10 and the rooms are large and very comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Surprised by the beautiful chalet we had. I was not expecting a stand alone chalet, very private. The other surprise was the wonderful view from the balcony over the Sabi river, where 2 hippos strolled by. Elephants from the camp opposite came down along the river with their mahouts Was a perfect position only an hour from Kruger where we were heading The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Went the extra mile The room had a comfortable ultra king-size bed the bathroom was big with a double shower there was a fridge, very useful as we had provisions we were taking to Kruger. A mini kitchenette added to the comfort. there was a loft room with extra beds and further views

We stayed 2 nights ,en route to Mala Mala game reserve. The resort caters in all your needs. The resort gardens and surrounding golf course on the resort, is so beautiful, that it makes you want to stay another night. The food is of a very good standard and the staff very friendly and helpful. The resort cant be faulted. The golf course is a must to play course. Not difficult with well manicured fairways and water features all over. The greens, needs attention, as they are not up to standard and very uneven with patches all over. Overall a very nice resort .

Cheerful, attentive hospitality. Swimming pool and walks down the valley. Spectacular birds and game sightings. On the Panorama Route and 10 minutes from the Kruger National Park. Golf, riding and a host of activities nearby. Rissington Inn - Exceeding expectations.
This hotel proved to be an exceptional experience set in a spectacular and convenient location with outstanding views from its beautiful and extensive grounds and gardens. Rooms were spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable and both management and staff could not have been more attentive to our needs ( we travelled as a family including an infant) and ensuring that we had the most enjoyable time possible in such a welcoming environment. Breakfast could not have provided a more extensive or nutritious choice and an evening table d’hote menu which changed daily provided extremely high quality meals and accompanying drinks at extremely modest prices. We had a truly great experience at Rissington.

This place is great for its safari feeling. Perfect for a trip into Kruger, because it is very close to Phabeni, one of the park Gates. Easy to find on the main road, but no views to be expected. Room not heated.
