Clean comfortable rooms in a hotel right next to local amenities. Bed was comfortable, shower was strong and hot. The usual tea making facilities. Only downside was that is hoped the television was a bit bigger!

Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel, 2.5 Miles from the towns of Hartlepool & Peterlee can be found on the B1281 between Castle Eden and Blackhall approximately 5 miles from Seaham and 12 miles from Durham. Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel is furnished in a style befitting a traditional country manor house. A classical country house atmosphere has also been lovingly retained throughout the bedrooms that have all been individually designed and furnished with care and attention.
Just been for Sunday lunch and it’s been a while since I was there. It’s like sitting in a cafe as you used to have beautiful set tables but not sure the staff know how to do this now. The meal was not the best as the meat was wafer thin, veg was cold and when we asked for mustard it came in plastic sachets. The staff were short and therefore drinks had to ordered at the bar although they did bring them over and small things missing. I think the whole place needs a revamp as it’s living on a past excellent reputation and what a shame because it used to be excellent

25 bed 3 star hotel. Beautiful sea views with a very popular restaurant and bar.
Stayed at the Marine Hotel for 3 nights, to explore the area, visit a a relative and celebrate a 60th birthday. The Marine hotel is right on the front with gardens then beach in front. We had booked 2 suites, which ere well decorated, large rooms with cosy sitting areas and king-size comfy beds. We had a side window sea view. The rooms had no noise problems even though on one night there was a wedding celebration going on. Breakfast was an extra, but enabled the most hungry to have a varied filling breakfast. We ate in the Hotel restaurant on one night, with good filling, pub food from a large menu. All in all our 3 nights we were very happy with all aspects of the hotel and would definitely return there.

The Douglas is located in the heart of Hartlepool Town. We are an independent accommodation and have a long reputation for the warmth of our hospitality and personal attention. We want your visit to be an experience you recall with pleasure and we look forward to welcoming you to The Douglas...
I was working in the north east and got delayed and in danger of sleeping in the car, I booked the only place I could find in the surrounding area and I don’t mean to bash it, I can see why it had bookings. The house or whatever it is you’d call it is in a bad state of disrepair, it was loud, like a hostel, the tv didn’t work and it looked maintained rather than clean. I wouldn’t recommend it but then again it’ll be for some people. Guy who I booked through that sent all the instructions seemed nice enough but yeah, not for me.

Wake up to magical harbourside views at Premier Inn Hotel Hartlepool Marina - our waterfront location puts you right at the heart of Hartlepool's maritime past and present. Set sail with the Hartlepool Maritime Experience and climb aboard HMS Trincomalee. Or keep your feet on dry land and catch the beautiful game at the United Football Club, or tee off on the green at three nearby golf courses. And when you're ready to wind down, our tasty restaurant, spacious rooms and extra-comfy beds will help you drift off.
A great place to stay, for both business and leisure, right on the marine, and not far from the town centre. Great facilities once again from Premier Inn, with great comfy beds, breakfast, and friendly staff who are more than happy to help. Regards Andrew

No management, no staff to speak to, the very worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was a make it yourself, there are no other facilities, no bar or any other facilities at all. Avoid at all costs
