Reviewed By GosiaJerrolAbsolutely amazing resort with superb location in the Gulf State Park. Guest rooms are very comfortable, clean and each has a balcony. The beds and bed linen are wonderful. The pool is very nice and a quick access to the beach is convenient. You may rent a beach umbrella and chairs as well. We rode complimentary bikes through the State Park. Food at the FoodCraft and Perch was delicious. The team members were friendly, kind and helpful. They spoke highly about their workplace. At the restaurant Joey, Tyler, Madison, Kevin and Carrie (pool side bartender) delivered 5 star service every time. The property is well designed, has many eco and sustainability programs. We liked that electric car charging stations were onsite. Finally, all areas are clean and constantly attended. I highly recommend this resort for leisure or business trip (meeting space is available). We will be back! Great job!!

Whether you are here for pleasure or business the Staybridge Suites offers a hot breakfast, a 24 hour business center, meeting room, and a complimentary reception 3 days a week. We are located close to the Wharf, Waterville, the Track, Tanger Outlet mall, numerous restaurants and theatres.

Reviewed By bdodanWe stayed here for a week in a one bedroom suite. The space was good. Comfy couch but mattress needs replacing. Didn’t use the a/c because it was incredibly noisy so it was stuffy. Noise from above so we had to buy another fan and run both. Most staff are not friendly and sometimes rude. We constantly needed keycard recoded, good thing we were on the first floor! Actually had to wake up desk staff Thursday morning at 6:40, because key didn’t work yet again. I don’t know why they were sleeping when common areas needed attention, like the full cereal bowl that sat for 2 days in the fitness center. The fitness room had nice machines with tvs and weight benches but lighter weights were missing their pair or missing altogether. Pets in inappropriate areas like sitting on dining chairs, pool, fitness center. They allow breeds like pit bulls, which did not make me comfortable. No enforcement of safety/hygiene rules like allowing people in swimwear and/or bare feet to enter food service during breakfast and social hour. On Mondays, staff dominated the breakfast, heaping their plates and so they tied up the toaster and waffle irons. Employees should eat in the 1/2 hour before. Desk staff doing their laundry, and machines were limited as some were out of order. Breakfast had few healthy options, the best being cut and grab to go fresh fruit, and Greek yogurt. Hot choice didn’t rotate much. They needed oatmeal but wouldn’t serve it. My husband saw that they had plenty when walking past the storage room. They wouldn’t clean the room, even though we were there 7 days. They only clean on Mondays and wouldn’t clean our first Mon as it would only be day 2. I had to chase down a vacuum so I could clean. Social hour was pretty good. Premium beer and wine. Heavy appetizers, some were better than others.

The Highrise across the street is ruining a perfect hotel.

It is across the street from ocean, but this portion of the beach is rarely crowded. Which is also a huge bonus. There was an empty lot, across the street, so there was still a great view. Up until this point, that has never been an issue. This time however, there was a giant crane working in the former empty lot. There is a large highrise being built in that lot. My heart is broken. There goes the view and the less crowded beach. I think if you request a room on the left side, you might be able to see the ocean, despite the highrise.

Reviewed By Bucky DI'm not a big fan of the Courtyard by Marriott brand - my company books my travel, so I wind up staying at them more often than I would choose if I could control it. The room was small and cramped. Front desk staff was fine. Check-in was a breeze. I hate when the side doors don't lock, though. That feels creepy to me. Internet speeds for the enhanced internet were around 40-45 mbps, so that's good. The A/C was a wall unit, controlled at the unit itself rather than by the thermostat elsewhere in the room. As a real plus (earns an extra star for this, actually) the room included a microwave and a fridge! Woohoo! Good luck trying to find somewhere to plug in your laptop at the desk. Both outlets were taken - one for the desk lamp and the other for the coffeemaker.

No hot tub. Cold outdoor pool
Reviewed By 632elishaaOur stay was mid April. I’m giving this 3 stars because of the messy stairways. The entire time of our week stay there was spilled coffee in the stairwell. A couple days later someone dropped food and that stayed as well. Our room was clean upon arrival. The cleaning staff stop by most days to offer clean towels. They never replenished the coffee bar in the room. The reception staff were always friendly. We were very disappointed with the pool situation and that there was no hot tub. The pool is always cold and in the shade a lot of the time. It also had lots of leaves in it. The free breakfast had hot eggs, sausage and biscuits and cinnamon rolls everyday. There is a pancake machine as well. The public sitting spaces were always clean and tidy. We didn’t use the gym so no complaints about that.
