Pleasantly surprised at how good this motel was. On the map it looked quite some way from the city centre, but taking the 'back' road it was quite close. The room was clean and well presented with good facilities. We would stay again when we next visit Bendigo.

We received a warm welcome from the owner on arrival and lots of tips on Bendigo. Spotlessly clean and very large room with extremely comfortable bed, top quality linen and modern tasteful styling. Quiet with triple-glazed windows to block out any noise. Large, modern bathroom with thick bath towels supplied. Walking distance to all galleries and city centre with tram at your back door. Good pub food just across the road and restaurants and breakfast eateries within walking distance. Great on site parking. Highly recommended, owner- operated accommodation with great attention to detail. Angela

What a fantastic stay we had at the Heritage Bendigo. We travelled from Sydney to Bendigo to visit the Elvis Exhibition, and after a long drive my family and I were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. When we explored our room they were extremely clean and “COVID” safe. Every amenity was available to keep us warm from heating in the bathroom and extra blankets, even an electric blanket if needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was no more than 10mins to pretty much everything to see in Bendigo. I highly recommend!,

Based on its reputation, and our previous experience with this chain we booked tdirectly with this hotel for two nights. We were looking for some comfort and leisure so accepted the two day cost of $534. We atrrived at about 11.00 and not unexpectedly the room was not ready. We were given an undertaking that the make up of the room would be givenm priority and if we went for a walk in town we would receive a phone call when the room was available. At 3 o’clock when we had still not heard any word from the hotel we returned to he hotel andt booked in. We were directed to our room on the first floor. On opening the door what we saw was rather laughable. It’s almost as if you tripped over the front door coming in you would’ve knocked yourself unconscious on the wall at the other side. It was tiny to say the very least. There is absolutely no provision to put the bags in. And the shower was simply small corner of the small toilet. The room, [particularly at the cost was quite laughable. When looking at the website after viewing the room on Google/TA it disclosed the room as 19 sq M. This is about 2/3 the size of any standard room we had ever stayed in anywhere in the world. We decided this was not for us particularly at the $524 cost for two nights that we were paying. After a short "discussion"with reception the company finally agreed to refund 100% of our fee. ( initially it wanted a cancellation fee on one days tarrif ) Of course, at this stage it was about 3.30 -4 o’clock and all motels we tried to contact were booked out. This left us little choice but to drive home, another 160K

Staying at the Shamrock was delightful. Clean room, friendly staff and close to everything as right in centre of the town. Breakfast & dinner were included in the package. Meals were tasty and the staff were helpful. The Elvis exhibition at the Museum was outstanding.

We came to Bendigo for the Elvis exhibit and chose to stay here. Room was great, bed was comfy we both slept well on both nights, did wonder if traffic noise would be a problem from our room but it was not an issue at all. Shower has great water pressure and breakfast was good. We would happily stay here again when coming to Bendigo

Alexandra Place is a 4 star Motel located 600 metres from the centre of the CBD. Offering Self Contained accommodation, spa and deluxe units the Motel also provides free WiFi and parking as well as room service and charge back facilities.
Bathroom requires an upgrade. Fan is controlled by light switch and is very noisy. Toilet is too close to side wall. bottom of shower screen does not seal. Occupant in unit above us were moving something and noise insulation from top floor to bottom floor was poor.
