Reviewed By 783ottobThe hotel is a relic from the 60's? You could tell it must have been really something in the day. I also suspect that the pandemic has taken it's toll on the hotel. Good things: great bird action while sitting at the pool, beds are good, rooms clean. best shower in Costa Rica/hot and good pressure, great breakfast, Bad: over priced, needs maintenance, public pool, service at pool and restaurant non existent/horrible, no views in the room, dogs barking in room at night in rooms next door, safe was broken, very small TV and only CNN in English, our friends room had a broken phone.

Reviewed By Margaret POne room was located right on the water of the bay and had a large terrace; it was large and comfortably appointed. The other room was dark, dingy, smokey (!) and had no view. The pool was very pleasant, there were lots of birds around. Breakfast was minimal - it was coffee OR orange juice! Service was minimal and generally indifferent.

Reviewed By twj2017Stayed for the 2nd time at La Purruja Lodge. It was another great stay, Only able to stay one night but the room was comfortable and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was very good. As in our 1st stay we saw @ 40 squirrel monkeys feeding within mere meters. Host were very nice. La Purruja Lodge is a great place to stay for birds and monkeys.

The view is amazing
Reviewed By leidy cThe view of this place is out of this world. We saw dolphins, turtles and different fish from the back balcony. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this place for sure.

Reviewed By alizconEl hotel está ubicado en la Marina Bahía Golfito. Es nuevo y cuenta con 10 habitaciones muy cómodas y bien decoradas. Tiene dos restaurantes: “La Playa” con muy buenas opciones tanto para desayunar como para almuerzo y cena y “Paka Paka” que es de bocas y tragos. La atención es muy buena. Tiene un malecón precioso hacia la marina y unas espectaculares vistas a la bahía Golfito y parte del Golfo Dulce. Opción muy recomendada en Golfito. Volvería sin dudarlo

Reviewed By Sonneth ALas cabañas son muy espaciosas, hay una montaña llena de vegetación de frente, la comida es deliciosa y la atención es increíble! Doña Damaris y don Chino son excelentes anfitriones junto con sus hijas. Golfito centro está a 10 minutos, hay varias playas cerca también.
