Outstanding Ocean View Suites with gas fireplace and balcony. Enhance your stay by booking a Superior Suite or King Spa Suite for a Jacuzzi tub! The North Cliff Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy boats entering and leaving the harbor, waves crashing upon the cliffs, and the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean. We hope to see you soon!
My husband and I have been traveling throughout Northern California and decided to stay here on our way to the Redwoods. Boy are we glad we did!! We stayed in the King spa room with ocean views. We got to enjoy a wonderful dinner steps away at the cutest pier restaurant. After dinner we enjoyed the most exquisite sunset right from our balcony and spa tub. The room was extremely clean and they didn’t forget a single detail. We slept so well on their comfortable bed too! We’re hoping to catch them again on our return trip south. Book the room. It’s worth it in more ways than one!! Can’t beat the price, either!

Check in went well the gentleman at the front desk was welcoming and professional. The room was clean and the view was great my wife and I loved that you could walk down the stairs to the restaurants below that had amazing food. The night shift employee at the front desk was a true gentleman and helpful for 1:00am. When it was time to check out 2 ladies at the front desk neither were welcoming one looked legitimately busy and the other with a henna tattoo was having trouble checking me out. She couldn’t find my name and was rude about it the other lady had to stop what she was doing and spotted it as she was walking up the screen then she seamed confused with a sassy attitude why I was checking out a day early that experience was enough for me to not return it felt like discrimination and left me confused because everyone we came across in fort Bragg was nice beyond belief

In years and tens of thousands of miles of traveling with our dogs all across the country we found this to be one of the most dog friendly places. Super friendly and helpful staff, great walking trail adjacent to the beach, dog friendly beach and, are you kidding me?, its own dog park and rooms with doggie-door access. We will definitely be back to beautiful Fort Bragg, Pudding Creek Beach and this wonderful place to stay with our pets.

Went to Mendocino first for the day we had a nice lunch on a balcony with a nice view of the ocean. Went into the shops and walked to the beach. A few hours is enough time. After we went to Fort Bragg and checked into the hotel. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and a great location. We walked about 15 minutes to the beach. We went to Mayan Fusion for dinner, which I would highly recommend. The restaurants were also a short walk away. We were too late for shopping. I did notice a few restaurants weren’t open, but could of been because it was a Monday. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location was good. The room was dated but nicely appointed and clean. There were a few water bugs in the tub in the morning but easily removed. Breakfast was good but a bit spartan. Would definitely stay again at this hotel

We stayed at the beach house inn in February and really enjoyed our room. The room was very spacious, clean and well stocked. Our balcony was a perfect place to enjoy a morning espresso while watching the wildlife. Their sister property across the street has laundry facilities which were very helpful. Check in and check out was quick and easy and there was plenty of parking close to our room which was quite convenient. Thank you very much for an excellent stay, Kenny N.

I always read Trip Advisor reviews to set my expectations for a property. Ocean View Lodge is an absolutely wonderful property, particularly if you set your expectations. It's not the Ritz Carlton. It's a great, family-owned, small-town motel. We had a second-floor king with jacuzzi and fireplace. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were comfortable. The bath products were nice and there were plenty of towels. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig in the room. There is no a/c, but this isn't a problem. Get a fan from the office and open the door! It's on the ocean and it doesn't get very hot. There isn't a breakfast service. Go less than a half mile down the road and eat at Denny's. The rooms are dated. So what? It's clean, clean, clean, and I don't tend to spend time thinking about the age of a toilet.. It's quiet. It's peaceful. We had a great time. We will go back if we ever get to the Northern California Coast again. Great experience partially because I read the reviews and set my expectations!

After experiencing terrible customer service at another local Inn & Suites we ended up at Holiday Inn Express Fort Bragg. It was a last minute change and we needed a room to accommodate 3 adults for a multiple nights stay on a busy Memorial weekend holiday. And after explaining our frustrating experience and need to Marietta at Holiday Inn Express Fort Bragg she went above and beyond to release a room to us. And during her shift our first night there she continued to attend to all our needs with a friendly and upbeat attitude. Thereafter, the rest of the hotel staff were timely in meeting all our needs during our entire stay. As a frequent traveler whose stayed at many different hotels this experience with Holiday Inn Express at Fort Bragg has converted me to choose Holiday Inn first for all my future travel needs. Thanks Marietta for making our family vacation weekend a joy! Kudos to Holiday Inn Express Fort Bragg for having such an exceptional staff member like Marietta on your team.

The hotel is very old and outdated. Laminate bathroom floor sloppily laid. Very old carpeting with a leak at the sink onto the carpeting. He bedspread was dirty. Besides this, the room was VERY clean, which seemed surprising. This is what I would expect from a 2-star hotel.
