This Hotel was amazing. It was spotless clean and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Fabulous views of the ocean and sunset in the evenings. The SPA area was a treat and very relaxing. The staff were so nice and helpful. Delicious breakfast and tea/coffee/water and soft drinks available at no extra cost all day. The only thing I missed was that there was no restaurant or food at the Hotel so I had to go to the town for dinner when I would have liked to stay and relax having dinner at the hotel in the evenings as I was there alone. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return again some day ?

Great Hotel Right Near the Beach at Fisterra

Reviewed By Christine M

We had been to this hotel a few years ago and booked to stay there again. It is a small, family-run, very modern hotel about 200m from the Camino to Fisterra and the beach. The staff are great and are really friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are beautifully clean, comfortable and well equipped with lovely modern bathrooms. Many rooms have a terrace with sea views. Breakfast is not a buffet but we were offered a nice muesli/fromage frais/red fruit mix, freshly-squeezed juice, toast and beautiful homemade cake, plus fresh fruit and hot drinks. The hotel is about 3k out of Fisterra itself but you can either walk along the Camino into the town or take a taxi, which was not expensive.

Spacious but musty

Reviewed By Ejb1234

Very spacious room with modern ensuite and a 'terrace' area. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned each day. It had a musty smell due to no opening windows and was quite dim. Changing the non-opening windows to opening windows would be a massive improvement. Although the 'terrace' was nice, only one chair was provided which wasn't great for a couple.

Despite the down pours of rain I enjoyed my two nights right here in Bela Fisterra. Juan was a great host and very welcoming. Nothing was any trouble especially when we got drenched walking to the fabulous lighthouse and back. He provided us with fresh towels. Their breakfast was appetising and there was a great choice. The rooms were spacious and well thought out. We stayed in Moby Dick and our beds were so comfy Just want to say a big Thankyou to Juan he pulled out all the stops on arrival, while we stayed and on our departure Thankyou on behalf of our group Helen Courtney Tralee Co Kerry Eire

This "thematic hotel" opened this season. The hotel is smart design, encompassing two neighbouring house with a glass atrium. The room facilities are modern, clean and well-designed. Breakfasts are fine; no hot dishes, but masses of fruits, yoghurts, breads and pastries. Staff are attentive, open and friendly, I really rate this place and recommend it very highly.

Basic hotel.

Basic hotel with basic but clean rooms. There is parking out the front for 2 cars. The woman on reception was friendly and had English. The reception is not 24hrs and you get a second key for the front door if you want to stay out late. There is no lift only stairs. The room had a flat screen TV. There were blankets in the wardrobe that we did use in mid September. In the morning we could hear the people moving around below us. There is free WiFi but eventhough it showed an excellent signal it was terrible and non existent in the morning. The bathroom had a bath and bidet. The shower was in the bath but the water gets on the floor which can be slippy. The shower is strong and hot which was great. There is a continental breakfast available in the morning which we did not get.

O Semaforo de Fisterra

There is no more iconic place in the Coast of Death Cape Finisterre, considered the end of the END OF THE WORLD. Built in 1853, 138 meters above sea level. For thousands of years it was thought that beyond him there was only an aqueous chasm in which the sun turned off every night and through which came to a region of darkness inhabited by sea monsters. Our lighthouse is known by all sailors in the world, because of its importance as a means of proximity warning of an extremely dangerous coast (its light reaches 65 km long) and the treacherous reputation of this area marítima.Debido the usual fog of time, in 1888 an annex to the lighthouse building, the siren, which is popularly known as “a cow Fisterra” to warn mariners of the dangers facing them was built. Since 1999 and after a very successful reform in 2016, the former headquarters of monitoring marine, the semaphore has become our little paradise, a delicatessen hotel and restaurant Boutique Hotel O SEMAFORO, in the Faro de Finisterre, It has five exclusive rooms, an excellent restaurant, a charming café, a terrace overlooking endless and several rooms and exclusive corners to miss at the End of the World. The incredible views and sunsets, compete with wild storms and large waves days, foggy days in which the siren sounds hard Lighthouse, cow, that drags us to the past of legends … You can also enjoy O Refuxio, a space which as its name suggests gives the pilgrim host, a landmark overlooking the famous “sculpture” Centolo. A unique dining room, a ‘Mariñeira “updated, modern tavern concept with proposals for pecking and take away to enjoy watching anywhere infinity. An ideal place where refuge in the day also spectacular storm and gale.

A cold and noisy expensive nightmare

Reviewed By SleepWell_77

Very small room. Cold during the day, no chance to heat by yourself. Very noisy in the evening until late night because the room is located almost in the middle of the restaurant. Instead of sleeping you can listen to drunk peoples laughter. The restaurant is not special at all, you can have better and cheaper food in town. Over all a big mistake to book a room here.

The hotels in north of Spain close to the beach are 2 types. Very good and expensive and very bad and cheap. Usually there is no middle This one tries to be in the middle. Average to everything but in the end is what we have been looking for The rooms are a bit outdated, the hotel has a spa in the next building where you can join a sauna or a spa. The breakfast is average. position is more like those street motels from americans movie But you cross the street and you are on the beach The downside is that to go in the village you need about 30 min walking or take the car. Has also close a panaderia and a bad supermarket In the end from my point of view is what we have looking for:a decent accomodation to a decent price and in one of the most beautiful location in Spain: capo de Finisterre The beach is amazing but pray for a good time: you are in north of Spain ?

Absolutely perfect boutique hotel

The staff are wonderfully hospitable, personable, and effective. The restaurant is extraordinary. I would give this 10 stars if I could. Strongly recommended.
