We all had a fantastic time on Pebble, Thank you Ricky and Berna who are lovely hosts, your Chef is amazing I am sure we have all come back a few kilos heavier. Beautiful clean Lodge, you feel very relaxed as soon as you get there. Fab honesty bar, excellent packed lunch and hire of 2 vehicles to go and explore the wonderful scenery of the Island. Just so relaxing would highly recommend.

First visit to Sealion Island and Sea Lion Lodge since the late 90s. It was good back then it is fantastic now. Rooms are straightforward but really comfortable, love the comfy bed ??. Facilities are all there and the staff friendly and helpful (and a fount of local knowledge). Fantastic walks and wildlife, great trails all signposted. Thanks Mickey and Sarah, and Ali and staff. Best break we had for a long long time..

We spent the night here whilst completing the circular drive around East Falkland. This lodge is situated in the rather quirky settlement of Darwin. Darwin House has achieved high standards and the owners will make every effort to make sure that you will have a pleasant stay. We did enjoy a relaxing time in the conservatory looking out over the water, drinking red wine. If you do decide to stay here then you should visit the rather forlorn and isolated Bodie Creek Suspension Bridge. Pop into the Gallery Cafe in Goose Green for a cup of tea. Well worth a visit. The 15 minute drive was over rough terrain but on arrival you will have seen the most southerly suspension bridge in the world. The bridge spectacularly stands out in the desolation around you. Darwin House is situated near to Goose Green. Further along the gravel road you should make a stop at San Carlos. There are poignant memorials along the way that remember the brave servicemen who died whilst liberating the islands. The hinterland of East Falkland is very remote. Distances are deceiving. Make sure that you are properly equipped and enjoy 'the moment'.

Carcass island has so much to offer. An outer island with large sandy beaches and picturesque slopes stretching. It is rich in wildlife, birds, penguins and a variety of flora. I have been visiting the falklands for more than 4 years now and each and every time I return it gets better. Rob, Nikki, Mike and all the team at Carcass are amazing and I look forward to visiting and getting that true Falklands hospitality experience every time I am here. Great food, accommodating locals and a great spot for wildlife. At the southern end of the island you come across large numbers of Magellanic and Gentoo penguin colonies near the grass plains and long tussock grass close to Leopard beach where they return after foraging at sea and you can see them leaping from the waves on to the beach. At the Northern end of the island elephant seals line the beach and make their way up the creeks and small streams where you will find these large marine mammals resting. Around the lodge is just a myriad of small birds and larger predators. Herons, Oyster catchers, ducks, can be found foraging at low tide and in the surrounding trees and hedges are Striated and Crested Cara Cara, meadow larks, short eared owls and cobs wren to name just a few. you will love this place, I know I do!

A totally relaxing experience in one of the most deserted locations remaining in the world. My sincere thanks to Sue and Wayne for such a super break. Nothing is too much trouble for them even down to fixing a puncture. The lodge is a credit to them. Beautifully kept, welcoming and comfortable. Go and relax with them. Enjoy the honesty bar and the camp style food which never failed to hit the spot. Explore the island and all its natural beauty and peace.

This is a very good B&B, well located with comfortable and well-equipped rooms and the best breakfasts on the Islands. Celia is a welcoming host, and there is often a smell of baking in the house. The bed was extremely comfortable - I did not so much lie on it as sink into it. A good base for a visit to Stanley.

Clean, comfortable and friendly budget accommodation. We have extensive recreation areas available to guests, including a garden with BBQ facilities, TV/Games room, reading lounge etc. Our dining room is open 24 hours a day and free tea/coffee/toast/cereal are available to all guests. We dont have a paid bar, but guests are welcome to purchase wine/beer from the local shop to enjoy. We have a range of rooms available to suit all prices, and can offer bed and Breakfast or full board packages. The standard of accommodation and services we offer have been continually improving since the hotel was purchased in early 2016.
I visited with a team of archaeologists and 1982 veterans to participate in a battlefield survey project. We couldn’t have been happier with the lodge! From the warm welcome we received from Mandy, Violet, Zach and the rest of the team, to the consistently excellent service throughout, it was exactly what we’d hoped. Reasonable prices nonetheless offer very comfortable single rooms, with en-suite showers. Loos are communal, but seem to be cleaned about every hour, so we’re sparkling throughout. The bed was genuinely one of the most comfortable I’ve found, and I appreciated the ability to open the window and control the radiator - you can choose between thoroughly cosy and polar blast, according to preference. The shower too is impressive: seriously powerful and scalding hot. Food was excellent, and very plentiful. In all, thoroughly recommended. The prices will catch the eye of anyone travelling on a budget, but don’t for a minute imagine that means tolerating a grubby B&B - this is quite the opposite. Aside from the lodge itself, you can be sure of excellent advice and contacts for all manner of excursions. It is on the outskirts of town, but also next door to the best coffee in Stanley. We’ll be back!

Shorty's is brilliant ! The rooms are great with fridge and TV and a very comfortable bed but what makes Shorty's is the people. Not just in the accommodation part but also in the adjacent diner which serves a huge range of food and is always very good. Marlene, Shirley and Francis are awesome people, friendly and helpful, and there is no better place to stay in Stanley. Decent room rate and good location close to car hire and bus trips too.
