Reviewed By mo1kr5It was perfect. It is near the old town und perfect for trips to the town. There you can visit a lot of sightseeing points. At the marketplace, there are a lot of locations for trinking a coffee or eat something. The service and the rooms were perfect. There was nothing left.

WiFi available throughout the hotel. Generous Breakfast Buffé with lots of choices. Short walking distance to the old town of Esslingen.

Reviewed By DaddybroussardMy wife and I stayed one night while in the area visiting family. The hotel is new and very clean and the room was sufficient. We had no problems checking in or parking. The staff was courteous and was able to communicate in English. We paid for the breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Many of the reviews are less than satisfactory and I don’t agree with them - we had a good experience.

Reviewed By BexterDarwenIt’s close to the centre of town and the staff are friendly, but that’s it. Dated and very basic in the public areas. Has a feeling of being a hostel rather than a hotel. My room had a kitchenette which is handy if you want to stay for any time. The bed was soft and very creaky. The pillow was too soft with no extra pillows. The furniture was adequate but date. The bathroom was adequate. At over EUR 100 for the night, it was very expensive and not value for money.

What is absolutely negative, is the size of the beds that affects the grade I gave, since a nice sleep, is the very important feature of a hotel. Beds are both short and narrow (I am 88 kgr and my height is 180 cm). Really strange because the room is very spacious

Reviewed By Nick BThis is a small independent hotel in a residential area of Esslingen,I stayed here because of it`s proximity to Unterturkheim and all of the city hotels were booked out. The rooms here are quite large and are clean,the ones on the front of the building have balconies,be aware they also have smaller rooms with a shared bathroom so stipulate en suite when you book,don`t assume or you may be disappointed. This place makes a big deal about the quality of it`s food (the owner is the Chef)but I sat in the restaurant for 25 minutes without even being asked what I wanted to drink so I got up and left,there was only one harassed looking waitress working so this probably isn`t normal,maybe just a bad night. This place is ok for a one night layover but it`s not good for tourists,it`s surrounded by private houses so there`s not much to see or do,Esslingen centre is a couple of km away but there`s not much there either

very nice but pricey
Reviewed By sandiablondeAfter Booking.com screwed up our reservation at another place in a nearby town, this was the only hotel with a room within 50 miles. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and got some names online for me for some other places to stay. We eventually came back here. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom a decent size (but be careful not to leave the bathroom door open when leaving because when you return and open the main door, you will smash your fingers against the bathroom door. Ouch! Not sure if it had AC. It was hot and humid when we were there but opened all the windows and that cooled it down nicely during the evening. The only real problem was that it is on the intersection of two larger streets and it is always amazing to me how many people drive around at 300 in the morning! With the windows open, it was a little noisy. Then the delivery truck at 0500 didn't help any either. There is a nice breakfast waiting for you in the morning, buffet style but with all the typical German breakfast items and even smoked salmon. Yum. Check-in and check-out were both easy and the bed was comfortable. It is also only a 30 drive to the airport and you avoid a lot of the major traffic by taking the back roads that start right at the hotel. Parking was easy and they seemed to have enough of it. The orice was a little steep though for the area and for other European hotels in which we have stayed. At 210 Euro a night, it's at the top end for prices. We walked around after dinner and it was a pleasant walk with the walkways lit-up nicely. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good (see my review on it) so overall we would stay here again when in the area. Good job!

Economy rooms with a good restaurant
Reviewed By 874danWhen you look for an accommodation at any of exhibitions, it can be recommended. Around 15 min drive from the exhibition site. Rooms are not too big. Quite soft beds are not too comfortable for those having problems with their back. Bathroom is fine. Everything perfectly clean. A lot of guests at the hotel restaurant every evening prove that the restaurant is also popular among local people. Namely soups are really good. Among wines some really good sorts. Breakfast fine, with great lightly boiled eggs (in the same quality every day). Option to buy as a present some home made products of honey, regional pasta, or home quality pork lard which is also served as a starter before diner (highly recommended).
