The pink sands of Champagne Beach spill into warm waters filled with wrecks and reefs begging to be explored by Espiritu Santo vacationers. Rinse off with a dip in one of the island’s many freshwater blue holes. Trek over a bamboo bridge to visit the bats and swallows of Millennium Cave, who nap among spectacular rock formations. Divers can wave hello to "The Lady," one of the many intact artifacts of the wreck of the SS President Coolidge.

A tropical seashore setting for Luganville’s only true beachfront resort located just 1.3 kms from town and only 10 minutes from the international airport. Beachfront Resort offers excellent accommodation, 25 rooms in all. Our deluxe bungalows overlook the sheltered waters of Segond Channel and Aore Island. All our bungalows are self-contained, air conditioned and/or fan cooled including en-suite, refrigerator, a kitchenette, insect screens plus toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. Our new lodge is the answer to the budget conscious traveller visiting Espiritu Santo and includes a TV room, fully equipped kitchen, all rooms have their own bathroom and a large undercover outdoor area to lounge around.Beachfront Resort has an excellent bar and restaurant with three dining areas including an indoor restaurant, an under cover outdoor dining area and on the pool deck under the shade of a market umbrella.A newly completed swimming pool is the jewel in the crown and extremely popular with guests. The resort has plenty of open space with coconut and shade trees in a large greenspace area which extends to the high water mark. Plenty of room for a volley ball game or a game of soccer.
We had a wonderful stay at the resort. We spent 4 nights in one of the sea facing bungalows and it was well worth the upgrade from the other room types. The resort is peaceful and it is nice to explore the beachfront and surrounding areas. The only things that keep this from scoring a 5 star review is the pool and villa balcony furniture, which is a little hard and uncomfortable and also the prices of the food at the resort. It is simply over priced for the quality, sadly.

We’re located in the centre of Luganville, and housing the newest Chinese restaurant in town. The restaurant offers sweeping view of the town and the bay. Most rooms offer views of greenery, and peeks onto the hotel pool, at 25m long. Our surroundings provide a serene feeling with most convenient location in town
Modern, clean hotel. Handy, central location.Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Lovely staff but the hotel seemed understaffed and "things took a long time to happen". Food extremely limited and breakfast buffet food kept running out, giving limited choice. No room phone. No remote for TV. Aircon noisy and broke down for 24 hours.

Close to town, lots of water activities in the sea and the pool. Great restaurant with variety of food. Rooms not cramped together. Lots of different places to relax. Our family room was a bit small for 5 of us (2 adults, 3 teenagers) so will get 2 rooms next visit (or another option). Hotel, restaurant, housekeeping and maintenance staff were excellent and very helpful. Excellent value for money.

Situated just a short stoll up the hill from the town centre, the Deco Stop commands one of the very best views in Santo. There you can enjoy the delights from the Narcosis Bar & Restaurant which surrounds the infinity pool. The staff are only too happy to tend your every need and make your stay a memorable one.
This is a great place to stay for a few days or a week to dive the impressive SS President Coolidge wreck. Rooms are with fan or AC if needed, are super clean and spacious. There is a nice deck with pool and view and lots of options to crush down for beer at the end of a day. Breakfast is also plentiful and has fresh fruits and good Tanna coffee. Lunch/dinner is delicious but not cheap. Best is the staff, friendliest and very helpful people. Thanks for a great stay.

Situated on the idyllic island of Aore, our Beach Bungalows feature spectacular views of the turquoise waters of the South Pacific. Guests enjoy a white sandy beach, free kayaking and snorkeling over our coral reefs. Our self-contained bungalows boast fully equipped kitchens, en-suite bathrooms, bedrooms with double beds and sitting room with convertible sofas. We have an on site restaurant too!
Aore Breeze has nice and new bungalows well agenced a few meters from a white sand beach, and with a splendid view, especially on sunrise. The table is very good, the host is a good chef. They proposed a nice and fun quad tour, and the walk around the island is beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. The place is central and right down the street from the market. The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, had a comfortable bed, and hot water. There was also a pretty well equipped kitchen so you could cut down costs by cooking. Didn't have any trouble with noise, and there was a security guard there every night. The room we had had a ceiling fan, but there were some floor fans around.

This reveiw is hard to keep short as so much happened at our stay during the Corona Virus period. We personally want to thank Calvin, Rob and Julie for all their help while staying at the Barrier Beach Resort, if i could give them and their staff 10 stars I would!!! We were greeted by Calvin's friendly smile at 8pm after a long day getting their due to our first flight being cancelled. On arrival Calvin greeted us and gave us a quick tour as we were tired. He kept the restuarant open for us as we arrived late and showed us to our beautiful room. In the morning we awoke to a beautiful beach to which we had realised we had been upgraded from a garden vila to a beach vila. We enjoyed our first day relaxing and using the free paddle board and scuba diving equipment in the beautiful clear water. The food in the restuarant was probably the nicest food we have ever had at any resort and for that fact restuarant we have been to. Unfortunately on our first day things started to turn for the worse as we had family back home telling us we had to come back ASAP as requested from the Australian Government, to which we then had to cut our honeymoon short and start find options to get home. Unfortunately this was a very stresseful process to go through and without the help on Calvin we would have been stuck. Calvin went over an beyond helping us and the other couple stranded to get our way back to Port Vila so we could fly home. He made numerous phone calls and emails to help us find a way home. He drove us personally to and from town to the Air Vanuatu office to help us get a flight home. It took us 4 days of driving into town and to the airport to try and get on a flight back to Port Vila and Calvin had no hesitation driving us to and from and did everything he could to help us. Honestly without his help I don't know what we would have done. With his help we finally got a flight back to Port Vila and he did not leave us until we were on the plane. We will be forever grateful for all his help and the amazing staff at the Barrier Beach Resort. We were so upset we had to cut our honeymoon short but we will 100% be back to finish off our honeymoon. Shortly after we left Santo and got stranded in Port Vila cyclone Harold came and destroyed a lot of Santo and the Barrier Beach Resort. We were relevied that no one got hurt but unfortunately a lot of damage was done. Once this pandemic has eased off and things are back to normal we would 100% recommend staying here. If you are looking for a peaceful, quite, beautiful place to relax we would hight recommend coming here. In our short stay we did manage to see some of the amazing blue holes, champaigne beach and my favourite place of all Port Olry. These place are a must when visiting Santo. Once again thank you Calvin for everything you did for us we will be back!!! Lee & Tracey :)

Ratua Island is a wild, magical place with authentic people who offer a simple and warm reception in a naturally beautiful environment. The resort boast of its hand-crafted teak wood villas reconstructed from 200-year old traditional houses in Java and Sumatra. There are 14 Indonesian villas and 2 luxury safari tents, that have been specially reconstructed onsite offering stunning views with a private deck or beach. Located in the Vanuatu Archipelago, off the South East tip of Espiritu Santo, Ratua is only a 35-minute motorboat journey (weather dependent) from the mainland on our own motor launch. In enhancing guests' experience, Ratua offers wide selection of activities within the island. Swim with horses, Malo blue hole adventure, legend of Kava, are some of the unique offerings that guests enjoy. Most days guests enjoy standup paddle board, kayak, canoe, snorkel, and swim in calm Ratua bay. Alternatively, other guests walk/run around the private island to their hearts content.
Having never thought about going to Vanuatu before - all I can say is DO IT! But if you’re going you stay anywhere - stay here. The place is amazing, the food was fantastic and the environment clean and beautiful. We stayed at crocodile and was nicely positioned, quiet and a great spot out the front to read and relax while looking at the ocean. As we stayed over Christmas, they put on a great spread for lunch and we carried on for most of the afternoon drinking and chatting to the owners and fiends we had made. The local band was fanatic and island night was great fun. We choose to unwind on the day so didn’t do you many activities - but the blue hole is defn worth a visit. A tranquil tropical getaway only a few hours from SYDNEY - forget Fiji or anywhere else, Vanuatu and Ratua island is the place to be!
