If there is zero on the rating scale I will chose that one. Visited for a soccer tournament. The tool smells of mild and when I complained the front desk person asked me where is it and when I told her that mold is not that easy to spot she sent the security guard to come and sniff our room to prove of disprove whether this should be addressed or not, so her process was completely unacceptable. Then I realized that the entire hotel stinks and I had to endure the three day stay. Basically this place is a dump for ~ 170$ per night The internet is not working, the carpet is very dirty and smells like an old abandoned apartment. The rooms are very small. They only place two large towels despite the double Queen beds, there is no air dryer and most of the electrical outlets so not work My advise is to avoid this place

This review may surprise some as it did for me. I checked in last night at around 10pm on 3/2. The front desk gentleman was very nice. No complaints. Check in was smooth and effortless. However, after getting to my room and eating dinner I am disturbed by loud noises outside. I look through the little hole in the door and I witness an older gentleman beating his wife out on the balcony. From what I could tell he had punched her a few times, and then proceeded to front kick her so hard she fell backward and smacked onto the balcony floor. I didn't see any staff come out for at least 10-15 minutes while this was going on. But even worse, when the gentleman did he did not call the cops, physically intervene, and merely issued them a warning. He called it their "first warning" and allowed them to go back to their room. The other guests were shouting at the couple to keep it down. The husband or boyfriend had a bluetooth speaker blaring loud hippie style music during the entire altercation. After the couple went into the room, they proceeded to yell at each other for at least an hour. At that point I packed up my things, left the key in the room and left. I stayed at another hotel down the street. But it gets better. When I called to request a refund the hotel manager refused saying they didn't have any other complaints. This is not true because the staff wouldn't have known about the incident unless someone had called the front desk. So here I am out $71 and I am unable to get a refund, so I am posting this review to let others know the total lack of hospitality and good will at Econo Lodge. I will never stay there again. They allowed domestic violence to occur in plain sight, did not call the cops, did not throw out the guests, and did not issue me a refund. An absolute failure of a hotel.

Arrived very late was given a handicapped room that was also a connecting room with the understanding we would be moved to a different room the following day. The issue is the connecting room is we could clearly hear the tv and conversations of the guests next door. Good news the GM called late morning gave me new room number which he said had a city view. Once I appeared at the front desk I was given a different room number than what I was told over the phone which gave me pause… the view is more of the parking lot than the city… why the change? All of a sudden there were a limited number of rooms with queen beds and nothing else was available. The whole experience makes me uncomfortable and disappointed. We will be staying for 14 nights which is longer than what the average stay is I am sure. So much for being a valued member. I wish I could attach a photo of the bedroom wall with an poor patch and paint job on the wall…

Spanning over 144 acres, Bandy Canyon Ranch is nestled in the heart of San Pasqual Valley. Set deep in Bandy Canyon, this Southern California ranch is adorned with rustic cabins, a dramatic pool for lounging and entertaining and an authentic 1930’s adobe lodge, antique stoves, and multiple fireplaces. A charming terrace and wedding ceremony site are also available for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and special events.
Came here with my 1yr old about 6 yrs ago, and finally returned, stayed one night in March 2022 with 3 kids this time (in Peacock). It was very quiet the night we stayed there, so it was an absolutely perfect setting. Loved exploring the grounds, especially the old main building, the large open spaces to play, and visiting the horses/animals. (Nice helpful additions for kids since last visit, like the giant Connect 4 on the lawn, and the common area building with crafts/games to bring out to the covered porch.) Was a bit too chilly to jump in the pool but plan to do so in a future visit, as it's also a neat place to spend some time. Everything here just feels like such a slice of history. It's not your fancy resort of steel/glass/Starbucks, but they do an excellent job of maintaining the buildings and spending a LOT of time on the upkeep of the stunning grounds. The shower area was nicely updated, which was a nice surprise since the last visit. Looked like they were setting up for a wedding when we left, so someone looking for a quiet night might be left wanting, in the event of... an event. Anahi at the front desk was about as nice and helpful a person as you'll ever meet.

This hotel is no longer a part of the Choice Hotels International, Inc. hotel system, and is no longer authorized to operate as an Econo Lodge.
We planned on a long weekend and this place was convenient location. Checked in and got to our room. It reeked!! Cigarette smoke and ash tray smell so bad you can taste it. Called down to front desk and was told to "turn on AC and open the door" Did that for an hour and a half, still stunk! Room didn't have smoke alarm, door lock broken, big unpainted areas on walls, crack pipes laying around parking lot . . . We left and found a clean, fresh place to spend our weekend
