The Pfauen hotel is quietly located in the town centre of Endingen. This historical wine-market town lies on the northern edge of the Kaiserstuhl Mountain in Baden (Burgundy). The centre of the town is characterized by a large number of buildings built between the 15th and 18th centuries. Its well-appointed friendly rooms are equipped with all the latest equipment and include a shower, toilet, alarm clock radio, telephone and satellite television. Look forward to starting your day with an extensive breakfast buffet. The wine bar directly opposite the hotel offers regional and international cuisine. Outstanding service
Reviewed By elevatoWe were 2 families staying for 3 nights. The area is beautiful, quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. No A/C but there was a ventilator in each room. The owner, Madam Neymeyer , was extremely helpful and every question was not only answered but we even got new options and local directions. Very good breakfast. A great value for the price and an outstanding service.I definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful area

The hotel is family managed in an efficient way with a lot of attention given to the guests ,both by the owners and the staff. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and cosy. Perfect beds: all conditions for a good stay are fulfilled.. By the way, they have a good restaurant!

A comfortable stop
Reviewed By champagnetravelerI was only there for 1 night and have NO complaints whatsoever. Everything worked, my sleep was sound, everything was clean, the mini bar was stocked with local wines and drinks for purchase. Breakfast was homey. Across the street is a 1 Michelin star restaurant, very convenient. Super market 2 blocks up, shops all.close on Sundays for the shopper. We paid $150 € per night. Checking in requires a special appointment and it is a cash only place. For these inconveniences I gave 4 stars.

Excellent traditional hotel
Reviewed By tripZeistA very nice hotel in the centre of the medieval town of Endlingen in Baden Wurttemberg. It is a traditional hotel with good rooms, not particular luxurious, but just good. The restaurant serves very good meals. The "Guetburgerliche Ruche", which means traditional and simple food of good quality. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. One of the charming elements is that the ladies all wear the traditional "Trachten" dress of this part of Germany. (Pity that the man don do!). Perfect hotel for a short stay!

Not worth the prices
Reviewed By JWWagenhagenCame here because the place we wanted to go was booked up, and it was the first and last time. The food was pretty good, but not at all worth the prices they're asking, and definitely not given the inadequate service. I lived a few years in the region (Breisgau), and there's a lot better to be found both in terms of quality and value. To be fair, the wine was both very good, and reasonably priced, but that's a pretty low bar given the location in the heart of the Kaiserstuhl.

Reviewed By Harry AClean, comfortable. Good lunch offering and breakfast items. Had not had much experience in German hotels and this one was what I would have imagined. Neither too fancy or ostentatious but comfortable and efficient.
