Great value for money. Cleaning everyday. Respect the covid rules. And old town is nearby. Private parking for the car is included. It's a family run hotel and the people are really nice. ~Perfect location if you want to explore Andorra.

The Montecarlo hotel is situated in Encamp, which is the southern access to Grandvalira ski area. The hotel has 62 rooms, a large dining room, and a quite bar with a free wifi area. The family atmosphere, the home cooking, the location, which is peaceful and central at the same time, without forgetting the excellent balance between quality and price make it an excellent option for your holidays in Andorra.
Very good location. Free parking. Abundant breakfast. However, when we arrived there were kids playing soccer inside the parking garage, who refused to stop running around the place and even hit the car with a ball. After pointing out to the woman at the reception how dangerous this was for the children, she called someone to mock us for the complaint (thinking we could not hear her inside the back office). In addition, we were given a tiny and dated room with a double bed, even though we had specifically requested two twin beds. Lastly, we were kicked out of breakfast because we had “overstayed” (pointing out that “half and hour is the maximum time allowed to have breakfast).

Andorra is a great ski location, with Grand Vilara the largest / main area. We traveled from Amsterdam Schiphol airport to Barcelona Spain in just one hour 40 minutes. Andorra has a very good line bus connection from Barcelona Airport, the bus stop is 50 meters to the right just outside terminal B. This ANDBus bus drives non stop from Barcelona Airport to the bus interconnection stop in Andorra in 3 hours. From the Andorra interconnection hub it's a short bus to any hotel in Andorra. 36 € for 3 persons. Evenia Coray hotel in Encamp. This hotel has a great view over the Andorra Valley and is located at walking distance from the Encamp Funicamp main cable cabin. The rooms are not too big but practical. We traveled with our kid and were offered a free upgrade with double bedroom. The hotel crew is nice and friendly as all people seem to be in Andorra. English is not a second language in Andorra. The supermarket in the mall has a great collection of local goods. Mont Magic Fun Park Canillo. Family / beginners and fun park Magic. Easy to reach with bus line L4. Take the cable cabin from the center of Canillo. A beatiful sunside beginners slobe with a zipline (17 €) and Wiegand All Year Slide Bobsled 3 rides for 15 € pp) great for a day off. The moutain view is great and they ski schools are international oriented. With a chairlift you are connected to Grand Vilara. They have a mascot called Puk. Good points; Great measures on shorts, price ok! Bad points; Closes 10pm prompt unless they’re having their own private party then it’s open until the early hours disturbing all guests trying to sleep. Poor understanding of English when advertised as an English speaking hotel.

Aparthotel Shusski is located in Andorra, perfect to enjoy a few days with family or friends. You have access to the ski slopes in Grandvalira with the Funicamp (largest gondola lift in Europe) which is located 30 meters from the hotel. It has 28 fully equipped apartments with kitchen, TV, living room, wardrobes, safe and sofa bed for two. You can enjoy the relaxation area of the hotel (jacuzzi and Turkish bath), covered parking. We help you arrange car rental, ski passes, pass to Caldea or activities to do in the mountains.
The place is nice, but the maintenance is not ok. The pillows smell bad, not well clean, beds are not comfortable, sink and bath clot, energy plugs not working… and so on. Also, when booked it shows a great picture of the jacuzzi and with a very fine letter in the end, shows it was closed. Disappointing!

Excellent value. Room was cleaned every day. It was spacious and beds were comfortable. Breakfast had choice and croissants were lovely. In the evening Tom and Sebastian both couldn’t do enough to help at dinner. Hotel is 50 yds from coach stop if you are getting a transfer. Approx 300 yds from main lift. Great value.

A nice hotel that we had been to before in the Spring. Very disappointed that this hotel has no air conditioning for the summer months, somewhat surprising for a 4 star hotel. I was advised prior to our stay by email that breakfast would be served at our table and not buffet style. I am unhappy that in the current situation it is actually a buffet. I witnessed one woman touching all the fruit individually. Also, no individual sachets of jam, just jars with communal spoons. The hot food was just about lukewarm but a reasonable choice. I praise all of the staff though as very helpful. The hotel is lovely and clean generally. Would not stay here again in the summer as rooms far too hot and not even a fan available.

It's a fair way from the ski area but with the free bus and the gondola is very easily accessible. It does take at least 30 minutes with minimal waiting times and can be much longer at the peak times, particularly between 9am & 10am to get up there and again around 4:30/5pm coming home, when most people are leaving the pistes. We also couldn't eat in the restaurant in the evenings, whilst the food was edible, that was pretty much it and it certainly wasn't enjoyable. Breakfast was nice, though not varied, but then who needs much more than the lovely fresh croissants! The reception and cleaning staff were all very friendly but the main restaurant lady was certainly not, she didn't even greet anyone and made it quite uncomfortable, particularly on the first evening when we didn't know what the format was, whether we had to go up and select/order or where to sit etc. None of the staff spoke much English which also made it a bit hard to get to grips with dinner plans but the reception staff were all willing to try and work out what I was asking and were all very pleasant and helpful. There were only 2 other English guest whilst we were there which wasn't a big problem but it would have been nice to have some interaction with some of the guests during the meals.
