My wife and me visited this hotel last week. We had reserved what the hotel calls a "superior" room, mountain view. We were assigned to a room, not bigger than 10 square meter, in the second floor. As tired as we were from our trip to El Bolson, we took the room without questioning. Next morning I asked the front desk, what the word superior had to do with that room. The answer I received was that the reservation they had from the travel agency was for a standard room. After showing them our voucher (where it clearly stated the kind of room), and after some arguing about what they had loaded in their system, the clerk addressed responsability to the travel agency. I claimed and someone came in (I guess it was the owner) who argued again against the travel agency, saying it was not the first time that happened, to which I informed him I would file a claim at the Tourism Office. In that moment, he decided it was a good time to show his goodness and gave us a better room, almost three times bigger, that meeted the conditions we hired. Anyway, the rooms need maintenance, the matresses are old and do not allow for a good sleep. We had to request maintenance for the toilet sink, and for a night lamp not working properly. Breakfast is a self service buffet, normal, nothing extra, and the girls who take care of breakfast are more interested in registering room number than to answer a customer´s greeting. I am not so sure I would return to this hotel.

One of a kind.We are artists living half year in Berkeley CA half in Bolson.Top quality everything great breakfast lots of original art and crafts super beds and linen. The views are breathtaking from every one of the 5 rooms. We bake breads, scones and tarts with fruits from our trees, all organic.Hope to see you here !
We could not stay better. This is the right place! Kitty and Horacio are such good hosts, to keep quiet about breakfast. 1 word: fantastic. The artistic furniture is simply beautiful and the house is very clean. The location can not be better and the road to it is bumpy but it is worth it. Thank you for this wonderful experience in this beautiful house. Greetings to Kitty and Horacio and see you soon in a next trip.

How many times in your travels have you found yourself imagining the ideal place to rest your weary bones; a place that speaks the language of the merry traveler, understands the beauty of small comforts, and shares with you this same dream of the ideal place for any traveler. Can you imagine a paradisiacal park intertwined with winding canals that open into sparkling ponds connected by Monet-like bridges? Imagine a breathtaking backdrop of lavender plantations, hundreds of native and exotic trees, the river Quemquemtreu babbling by, and the majestic presence of the Andean Mountains looming above on all sides. If you can imagine all of this, imagine in it's midst a beautiful wooden house, the vision of an artist, with it's open, inviting spaces, grand fireplace and wood-burning stoves, the solarium opening up to the expansive garden, and with it's dormitories and double rooms that offer the comfort and tranquility you have been longing for in your journey. Imagine now waking in the peacefulness of this place and rising to a breakfast of homemade breads and jams. Or returning from one of El Bolson's many lovely hikes on a warm summer's day to share an artisanal beer in the garden with the other guests. Then come evening, imagine a delicious homemade meal, a pizza, a picada, or feeling at home in the fully equipped kitchen where you can whip up your own magic. If you can envision all of this, then you share our grand vision of what makes a hostel truly unique, and the dream made reality that awaits you here in Patagonia.
This is my favorite hostel I’ve stayed in! The staff are super warm and friendly. The kitchen is well equipped with equipment and slices. The common areas are cozy. They have homemade bread and jam for breakfast. There are also delicious homemade empanadas and beer. The rooms are super cute. Our double was super spacious. There are three dogs, and the yard/garden is absolutely gorgeous. You won’t want to leave!

Our accommodation options provide a nourishing experience for travelers highlighting the richness of Patagonia through a holistic lifestyle. Guests will enjoy the beauty of the region while staying either in an off-the-grid Earthship or in a cozy Yurt, fusing comfortable accommodation with ecological counsciousness. We aim to foster a community of travelers with a passion for sustainability.
We were very excited to stay in an Earthship house. But the experience was disappointing, especially since it’s priced similar to a budget hotel. While the people working there are very nice, the place is badly managed and kind of falling apart… The electricity plugs suddenly stopped working one day. The shared toilet didn’t flush. The shower didn’t drain. The floors weren’t clean. The breakfast was very sparse (toast with jam and granola). The WiFi barely works, only in one spot. I think with more attention to detail, fixing the broken things and providing a nutritious breakfast this could be a wonderful place! Thanks!

We stayed here at the recommendation of the staff at Casona Odile after it filled up. It was amazing, cheaper than casona Odile, and less crowded, thus more peaceful. The breakfast was tasty and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Also, we stayed in the weird room-sized cabin outdoors with nothing but a bed in it, and actually loved it since we knew what we were getting ourselves into. We found a fair amount of wasps and spiders inside, but besides that it was totally cozy and nice.

We spent three nights in the cabin and absolutely loved it! Alejandro, Andrea, and their daughter, Guadalupe, are welcoming and helpful hosts. The views from the cabin and patio are extraordinary . . it looks just like the photos on the website! The cabin is immaculately clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable. This was a great place for our family of four to stay. We had a rental car, so the short trip into town was easy. We recommend without reservation.

On my second trip to this lovely Bohemian mountain town i was fortunate to find Carpe Diem and their superbly designed and landscaped cabanas. The owner, Marcela, couldn't be nicer, warmer and more professional which is reflected in the attention to detail on cabana necessities and accomodation. Each cabana home has at room parking, full kitchen, tasteful furnishings and spacious interiors. Outside on the manicured grounds well planted with various lush vegetation, there are dining tables with sunbrellas and a full parilla for your asado needs. I'd return in a heartbeat.

This Patagonian lodge, a model of sustainable construction, is in a remote mountain location within a 200,000 acre wilderness preserve with endless adventure activities on site from rafting to rock climbing, and a sauna and outdoor hot tubs with stunning river views. All meals are prepared with organic products from the Confluencia farm: vegetables, fresh milk, eggs, meats, and hearty breads from whole grains harvested and stone-ground at the farm.
We were 3 couples who stayed for two nights, and it was INCREDIBLE. We so wished we could have stayed longer. Helena and Mark and the staff made us feel part of the family. The chef Jorge was fantastic and very accomodating of special needs. (His empenadas were the best we tasted during our 3 week stay in Patagonia). The hottubs and sauna were awesome, as was the fireplace, and the stairs down the "la playita". We hiked up to the Cajon and fished in the river. Gustodio was extremely kind and helpful. And Julietta helped us immensely with communications with our airline after we encountered some problems for our return. We absolutely loved the place, and are very eager to return!
