We had a great time and stay in Executive room with kitchenette. Small stovetop and microwave and few plates/glasses. Staff at reception were great and also catering staffs were wonderful. Breakfast was basic but delicious. I put 2 star for the room just because the windows were not cleaned from inside and could see spider webs around the windows. Bathroom had mouldy and dust behind the TV and on the radiator. Had a couple of spiders and beetles.

We are a family run hotel with an excellent location on the seafront of Eastbourne looking across the bay towards the Pier. We are only a short walk to the pier, town and amenities. There is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel with services running along the coast and into town. We have a thriving Lunch Club with top class speakers; regular Sunday Lunches with Jazz, Cabaret Dinners, and a Gourmet Club. We are the perfect hotel for any occasion whether it be just a lunch or staying with us in one of our excellent bedrooms.
Had a fantastic 5 day break last week. Lovely single room with sea view. Everything in room very good quality. The food was some of the best I've had. Sunday roast was terrific also. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. They were all so friendly, helpful and extremely professional. That's from the really helpful bedroom staff right up to management. I wouldn't think twice about returning and highly recommend it. Looking forward to a return visit in the autumn.

Spacious rooms, quiet lounges, modern facilities and a delectable restaurant; the Devonshire Park Hotel Eastbourne combines a Victorian seaside holiday with Sussex Country Hotel luxury. Its boutique size, handsome rooms and knowledgeable staff make for a cordial and relaxing stay, and its location is ideal for exploring the seafront, the Sussex Downs and local towns of Battle, Rye, Hastings and Brighton.
Lovely room, Stayed in Jevington suite which was better than a number of five star Hotels I have stayed at, Fantastic breakfast. Walking distance from nearly all amenities with off road parking at Hotel. Limited spaces however and two are EV charging. Which was annoying as although not required by any guests while I was there they were regularly used by non residents. That said staff always made sure we were able to park off road which is essential as all on road parking is controlled and expensive. Staff were very friendly, experienced and helpful. A couple of minor issues were dealt with immediately. Highly Recommend if you do not need all the facilities of a large Hotel.

Ideally located in the town centre, our Eastbourne hotel features our new generation bedrooms, each with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly-updated bathroom with large shower head, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed. If you do like to be beside the seaside, we're just a short stroll from the seafront and promenade and the many attractions of Eastbourne Pier. For visitors arriving by train, the station is within walking distance, and you can shop 'til you drop at the Eastbourne Arndale centre, before heading back to the hotel for a slap-up meal at our on-site restaurant.
This premier inn suprised me, i thought being in the town it might be abit noisy at night but actually it really wasnt, it was quiet, it was a nice size room for just me and my mum, and the breakfast food was really nice, we had the continental on one morning and a full english on a different morning, it arrived out hot, all the food items were hot, was really impressed with that, we only had breakfast because we ate out in the evenings but was pleasantly suprised by this hotel...would definitely stay here again

England's only five-star seaside hotel, The Grand in Eastbourne is one of the UK's most magnificent hotels. Variously described as a 'White Palace' and 'Wedding Cake', the majestic landmark property occupies a prime spot on the town's seafront with panoramic views along the coast and towards the cliffs at Beachy Head.Facilities include 152 beautiful bedrooms, many with stunning sea views. 2 Award winning Restaurants. Indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, fully equipped Gymnasium and 8 beauty rooms.
We had a short 3 day break over Jubilee Weekend - Executive Room (237) - worked out a tad over £500 per night including breakfast, dinner, wine. Stayed here on previous occasions but this time The Grand fell a little short of our previous visits. The room was spacious and clean - but the shower was a tad cranky/sensitive to holding a decent temperature - small adjustments of the lever caused big variations in temperature. The food was good - but the ambience of The Garden Restaurant (at dinner) was not great - The Mirabelle Restaurant is more relaxing. The bar service was varied - generally good - but sparser as the evening wore on. At 20:45 in the lounge we were comfortably seated and drinking but then rather rudely“moved on by the bell-hop as he needed to lift the carpet for the dance floor” - despite the band not striking up for another 45 minutes. Usually in a good establishment the bar staff would have lifted our drinks on a tray and reseated up - not so at The Grand - the bell-hop clearly rules the roost. The parking was difficult - many slots in the grounds are pre-reserved (for a fee) - we used roadside parking for free at St John’s Road about a 10 minute walk away - only to be told at check-out that the doorman should have given us local authority permit for parking in the road directly outside - neither well advertised I have to say; nor mentioned on their website. Overall we did enjoy our stay but unlikely to return until they sharpen their act.

Majestic Victorian building right on the sea front and so close to the pier I would recommend this hotel . We loved it from start to finish it’s been a great staycation ! The receptionist was so friendly and checked us in . We didn’t like our first room but she quickly upgraded us to a delightful sea view room with stunning views ! It was worth paying an extra £25 a night . The breakfast dining room is very grand and there’s a good selection of cereals fruit and cooked food . The waiting staff are very good and attentive . I really liked the blue bar and we had a bar meal whiich was very reasonable and the food was good . Parking is limited but we got street parking outside . The location of the hotel couldn’t be better to get to bars, restaurants shops and amusements . The sightseeing bus is also close by and well worth the trip . The entertainment has been good and the drinks prices are reasonable. Some areas need a face lift and the lift needs upgrade but everything else has been super !

Went for one night via Groupon Deal, Dinner Bed and Breakfast. Arrived for 4 o'clock check in. All ok, except the lift was broken! had to use the service lift, not a problem. Asked what time Dinner was servered from , 6.30pm till7.45pm. Still not a problem. we went up to our room, large in size a bit tired, 2 chairs and a coffee table, s/k bed, nice bathroom. went for a walk along the Pier , then went back to get changed for Dinner. Restaurent closed no menu out asked reception, it's in the liarary! waited 30 minutes no one came, back out to reception, send someone along 15 minutes later still waiting. did get a paper menu and was told did no one tell you the restaurent was closed! Asked if we could have a drink he said I'm doing the bar and walked out. we decided that after nearly an hours wait and what appeared to be only 2 staff working. we went out to eat. We have emailed the Hotel and are waiting a reply and hopefully some money Back as we had no evening meal. Breakfast ok, could be hotter.
