Reviewed By 237raidhAlmost as one can say as close as heaven, great apartments, clean, wonderful place and view, the owner is always there if you should need for anything, great person and his home made olive oil just TASTY, stayed there with my family for a week and we all didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.

Appartamento meraviglioso, Stefano e Lisa con i loro figli ci hanno accolti e coccolati per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno. Piscina stupenda, possibilità di mangiare un pasto light a pranzo o degustare un aperitivo direttamente sulla sdraio in tutta tranquillità! Attivo da pochi giorni il loro ristorante serale che oltre ad essere una grande comodità per gli ospiti, offre un alto livello di cucina e di vini. (Il petto d anatra ci è rimasto nel cuore) Colazione abbondante senza nulla di estremamente particolare o ricercato, nel complesso buona. Reviewed By FrunziAn absolute gem of a place! The apartment we stayed in was clean, cool even at the height of summer, and very comfortable. Generously equipped with utensils, but also the salt, olive oil, Balsamico, freshly ground coffee for the coffee maker, washing up liquid, sponges, brushes etc…. were a nice touch. The gardens were beautifully kept. The pool a generous size. Never felt full with people. Great view! The host Laura and her parents are lovely with some fantastic restaurant recommendations at hand when needed! Can’t recommend highly enough!

L'agriturismo è un tipico casale toscano in pietra con travi in legno situato sull'Appennino tosco-emiliano a pochi passi dal centro del comune di Dicomano ed ottima base di partenza per visitare Firenze che si trova a 40 minuti di auto. L'agriturismo offre ospitalità in 4 monolocali indipendenti, semplici ma confortevoli. Si trova in un contesto molto tranquillo, con tanto verde. Abbiamo un ristorante dove si possono gustare tipicità toscane come tortelli di patate, ravioli, zuppe, carni alla brace, bistecca alla fiorentina, cacciagione ecc. e i dolci per le colazioni preparati in casa e freschi. Abbiamo anche una scuderia di 12 box, con maneggio coperto 30x50 e maneggio scoperto 50x80 e sono presenti anche animali da fattoria. Soggiornare all'Agricola Pignano è accantonare i caotici ritmi di vita cittadina per gustare tempi di riposo, nell’abbraccio con la partecipe natura e nel rivivere gli antichi sani sapori della terra e di ciò che essa produce.
Great place in the middle of farmland
Reviewed By tetron20Not so easy to find in the first place this is a fantastic retreat to relax and spend some wonderful quite days with unsurpassed hospitality. Up in the hills above Dicomano this family run farm with a western horse riding school is a good base for extended hiking trips or short one day tours to the famous places around Toscani. The place is famous for its homemade food and the "restaurant" is booked every day by Italians from near and far - believe me it is worth it, I had rarely had better meals in Toscani so far.

Reviewed By margaret fThis was exactly what we hoped for. Excellent scenery, weather very good all week. Houses, apartments rustic in style, very clean and everything you would need. Owners very friendly and helpful. The accomodation is right in a working vineyard. Very interesting, wine excellent and a little cantina to buy more when you run out. Excellent , nearest village about 3 0r 4 minutes drive away. Very nice restuarants and friendly. Locals very willing to help. Car needed. Swimming pool away from houses but not too far so safe for children, beautiful views from there also. Can' t r.ecommend this highly enough

The holiday apartments are spread out over the estate in 2 clusters or small villages called Borgo "La Villa" and Borgo "Il Lago".Borgo "La Villa" offers the best position on the estate, both in its elegantly furnished apartments and its ideal position overlooking the splendid green valley of Dicomano, the vineyards and the first of the three lakes. The swimming pool with panoramic view is located right in this village as well as the consecrated chapel.Borgo "Il Lago" is at the centre of the farm, and while the apartments are a bit more simply furnished, they are equally comfortable and are right next to the main "Villa Il Lago" with its wonderful garden. The swimming pool is only about 500 meters away, easily reached after a 4-5 minute walk.All of the villages are within the large Fattoria Il Lago wine estate and the private roads that connect all of them are paved.
Rustic AND False Advertising on their website
Reviewed By Pam CUnfortunately, we did not get what had been discussed with Francesco and what was offered on the website. We had booked shuttle pick up and drop offs as we did not have a car and there were 6 adults travelling. He stated most have cars but no problem. His website states they have a 6 person Mercedes van. We, all 6 ended up having to sit in the back of a very old two seat Mitsubishi truck with luggage. Needless to say the truck started smoking under the hood. After that no truck and/or shuttle. Thank goodness we are fit and could handle the 40 minute walk to town and back. The reception was not open each day. We met the following day to find out they do not offer quad tours either yet their website states they do. We also did not get to do a wine tasting as he had to do emails?! He gave us a bottle to try. If you are going to stay here please take note: 1) You will need a vehicle 2) The website is not up to date and is false advertising their facilities. 3) The accommodations are bare bones. You only receive clean bedding and toilet paper, nothing else. 4) Check your room fans. One was broken 5) Check the fridge our seal was broken so it was not as cold as it should be. 6) You are responsible for getting rid of the recycling. 7) They charge a cleaning fee 8) Bikes not available, apparently they only have two That being saiid, cute small town, beautiful scenery and had a great dinner at Da Sergio’s

The farm holiday "Francini" is located in the wide "Mugello" valley and it is set etween Dicomano and Vicchio where "Giotto" was supposed have been born.Its elegant and completely new restored complex offers an original glimpse of the incontaminated tuscan countryside. As a matter of fact the holiday homes are set right in the agricultural farm "Francini". Their activities consists in breering a few hundred cattle

Ad accoglierci Elisa e Lucia in un luogo incantevole e l'ospitalità di più, appartamenti puliti completo di tutto con possibilità di fare meravigliose grigliate con i loro prodotti a km 0. Posto affascinante tra passato e confort
Reviewed By Patrikm79Luogo mistico e senza tempo perso nel verde dell’ appenino toscano. Trattasi di un ex monastero francescano dove si respira storia ed arte in ogni angolo.La camera era accogliente pulita e dotata di un bagno davvero molto grande. Colazione al buffet che viene effettuata in una sala davvero suggestiva. In tutta la proprietà si respira storia , ma anche tranquillità e quiete. I gestori sono davvero persone cortesi e a modo. Il nostro cane (un Husky) è stato ben accettato dalla struttura. Alla sera c’è il servizio ristorante , ma non ne abbiamo usufruito in quanto avevano cenato a Firenze. Firenze è collegata benissimo, infatti dalla struttura si può accedere a piedi alla stazione Contea Londa, dalla quale, parte ogni ora un treno per Firenze (40 min circa). In conclusione se volete trascorrere qualche giorno Per visitare e vivere la Toscana ,questa Villa a mio parere offre una alternativa valida suggestiva ed economica. Ai titolari dico Complimenti per quello che avete creato. Saluti dal Friuli
