Eine Bushaltestelle liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch die berühmte Regatta-Strecke der Olympischen Spiele 1972 ist 4,8 Kilometer vom Hotel entfernt. Für zahlreiche Nationalmannschaften (u.a. Japan, Tschechei, Slowenien, Ukraine) waren wir der kompetente Gastgeber vor Ort. Ebenso gut erreichbar sind die Autobahnen A92/A99/A8/A9 Richtung München und Flughafen. Reviewed By rose9447I booked this hotel for myself and my husband on our first night in Bavaria because the weather forecast was for very hot temperatures and it was advertised as air conditioned. On arrival we went up to our room which was very hot. I tried turning the temperature controller down to cool the room but instead of cooling it increased in temperature. My husband went down to reception to ask how to use the control panel. He was told the air con had broken down and they were doing their best to fix it and to give them 10mins. After 10 mins and the room now at 29°c we were told that a water pump had failed and they couldn't repair it that evening. Reception said they understood if we needed to try another hotel and promised a full refund. I handed over my credit card to receive the refund but was told it couldn't be done that evening but was promised it would be in the morning and I would be emailed. I gave my email address to the reception staff. I did not receive an email or a refund. I couldn't check my card account until our return to UK and as we had booked through Booking.com I felt my complaint should be dealt with through them. Unfortunately Booking.com did not respond until I prompted them when I was told there was nothing they could do but offered £22.45 as compensation. An email had been sent by Hotel Dachau to my husband's email address but he did not find it in his ‘junk box’ until he got home. The hotel was offering us a 20% refund. I wrote back and said that we felt that although it was a non-refundable booking because the hotel had failed to meet the contracted facilities offered on their website, a full refund was required. They declined saying that the air con was not broken ‘merely overloaded’!! We realised we were banging our heads against a brick wall with the hotel management and agreed to accept the small refund. I sent my credit card details as requested for the 20% refund. THE HOTEL HAVE NEVER REPLIED OR PAID ANY REFUND DESPITE SEVERAL EMAILS TO THEM ASKING IF THEY HAD RECEIVED MY CORRESPONDENCE. If the hotel had been in the UK I would have considered taking them to the small claims court as I felt we had a good case. Dreadful customer service!! Advised all our friends to avoid.

Reviewed By Elena BWe chose this hotel as it was 10 mins drive to the Dachau concentration camp which we were visiting the next day. The hotel was all ‘okay’ but nothing special. The hotel is located in a private residential area so a 12-15 min walk into the centre of town. The railway runs right behind the hotel, which was loud, so definitely couldn’t have your windows open, which was a shame as otherwise it was a quiet location! Staff were friendly, room was clean, breakfast was good.

Friendly, clean, helpful and excellent breakfast!
Reviewed By 1marylou1Hard to find. It is a small street and even a 70+ woman did not know of the street or Inn. Also bus driver told us to go the wrong way. Hope you have good GPS! But worth it. The staff was kind, friendly, helpful and sweet. The room was clean and perfect. Free sparkling water. A restaurant down the street same owner was Drei Rosen (3 Roses) and it was so very good and very excellent German food. There is a bistro down the street too (turn right on the street-go 3 blocks) Shakespeare Bistro, great woman bartender who is pleasant and speaks English too. She works part-time evenings until midnight. Again, the Duh-Inn was so cute, wonderful and has drinks and coffee you can order and drink in the little patio area.

It was not larger but quite adequate for two. The breakfast was all I could ask for simple but with many options and the quality was excellent. I recommend staying here.

Wir haben Freunde für ein Wochenende untergebracht und sind einfach beeindruckt von diesem tollen Familienbetrieb. Auch die Hotelbar und das Hotel eigene Restaurant mit leckeren Salaten und Schnitzel können wir empfehlen! :)

Schade um das neue Hotel
Reviewed By travel4carsAnscheinend wurde das eigentlich schöne Hotel eröffnet, ohne sich Gedanken um den Betrieb zu machen. Türschilder gibt es nicht und das ohne Maske arbeitende Reinigungspersonal steht auf einmal morgens im Zimmer oder klopft einen raus. Die Suites haben kein Besteck oder Ausstattung, also sind diese faktisch nicht nutzbar. Das Frühstück ist eine Frechheit. Auf der Homepage wird "ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit regionalen Speisen" beworben, in der Realität steht man vor leeren Platten und ein (sehr netter und um Entschuldigung bemühter) Herr bietet an, er könne einem "alles" machen aber stellt dann einen fertigen Teller mit etwas billigem Aufschnitt und zwei Scheiben Käse plus einer Menge Kleinverpackungen hin. Service, Angebotsversprechen und Nachhaltigkeit geht anders. Der Preis wird nicht zurück erstattet. So kann ich weder Kollegen und Geschäftspartner guten Gewissens hierher bringen. Zudem arbeitet ein großer Teil des Personals ohne Masken und drängt sich dicht am Gast vorbei. Beim Check-in fällt auf, dass man am Abend zahlen muss aber erst am Morgen bekommt man die Rechnung. Es werden auch Mobilnummer und e-Mail abgefragt. Angeblich wegen Corona, worüber aber nichts im Formular steht.

We dined at one of the outside tables and we each had couple of beers and the Cordon Bleu vom Schwein mit Schinken und Käse (Cordon Bleu of pork with ham and cheese); this meal was served with fried potatoes and a fresh mixed salad. The weather was perfect for outside dining and the food and service were wonderful. This restaurant is located in the center of Dachau next to the Rathaus.

Our "Lohauserhof" is an agricultural family farm in the middle of a little bavarian village in the loveley "Dachauer Hinterland". Close to the capital city Munich, which is easy reachable with the only 4 minutes distantly related S-Bahn.

Reviewed By BYJPLove, love, love this modern, purposed built guesthouse. It is only about 6 years old and it is in pristine conditions. No guest room shares a wall with another guest room and there is a max. of two rooms per hallways-therefore, super quiet. The rooms for three have ample space and were uber clean- the light airy was very welcoming. Breakfasts were very satisfactory and beyond the usual included such treats as homemade jams and baked goods - where do you see THAT? The entire building with its five bedrooms (we think) and large public space is very inviting. The hosting couple lives right next door on a large and well groomed property and guest can go outside. This a very small and peaceful town but only a couple km away is free parking at a train station that takes you directly to the city centre of Munich. So convenient! In addition, there is a very good Italian restaurant 150 m. from the Inn. We had lovely chats with the owners who were friendly, informative and welcoming. Their attention to the most minute details proves that this business is truly their passion in life. Given the convenience transportation links, the perfection of the guesthouse and the pretty location we would recommend this place to anyone who likes staying in small hotels and amidst the quiet of the countryside. GL is just fabulous.
