We visited Playa Granada for 22 days, it was a very nice stay at this hotel. Most important were the adjustments made for people with a disability, wheelchair friendly with access to all parts of the resort including the room a large bathroom with toilet with armrests. Special thanks to the lady of guest relation, Maribel. Most adorable and helpful in any way! Food is good, with variety. Maybe onely minus is just the one poolbar, can get busy and you have to wait in line for a drink. All inclusive concept is good! Not much to do around if you dont have car. Overall a lovely place to stay, most friendly staff!

Granada's Costa Tropical is characterised by having a warm climate all year round, abundant natural resources, kind, friendly locals and excellent connections with the rest of Andalusia and the Peninsula.
Solo trip for 5 nights. Large hotel with simple but comfy quiet room (high floor - maybe noisier lower down). Maid service daily. Buffet food very nice with adequate choices and freshly cooked. Nice outdoor terrace bar and indoor evening entertainment. Staff friendly and highlight is the outdoor infinity pool which is huge and gorgeous with lovely view. Also a separate lazy river and slides for the kids. The shop is not nearby so advise getting anything needed before arriving or pay 10 euro round trip in local taxi. It is walkable but up and down vertical hills.

Beach Boutique La Caleta Bay is a small accomodation in front of the best beach of La Herradura, offering rooms and suites in this special spot of Andalucia. In this small, modern and cozy accommodation you will find a friendly and multilanguage staff that will take care of every little detail to ensure your stay is perfect. Enter your room and make a toast with the bottle of Cava courtesy from the house that you will find in the fridge. Come and discover it.
Super boutique hotel on the shore front of a laid back resort town. Nice touches like the complementary water, juice and wine add those finishing touches. Helpful staff, comfy bed and, in our case, a great balcony to watch the worlds pass by or better still, the sun go down .

The hotel has 39 bedrooms offering guests a comfortable and friendly stay with all the necesary to guarantee your satisfaction. Is located in front of two important beaches of Almunecar,in the main promenade. Almunecar is considered one of the most attractive tourist points and further on the Andalusian coast. Not in vain its coastline is known as the Costa Tropical , a name consistent with its long beaches, its weather and its exuberant tropical and subtropical vegetation. It has a variety of services such as a restaurant where you can taste the Mediterranean cuisine with fish and grilled meats as well as special dishes of the area.
We have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel. We loved everything about the hotel. The Moorish deco and design of the hotel are the same as on their website. The staff and service were excellent and the rooms were immaculate and clean. We felt very welcomed by the staff at this hotel and cared for - a sense we were personally looked after. And by the way, the food and restaurant was superb. A special visit and we shall return!

English: All my opinions are based on my own experience. When we arrive we realize that the hotel is on a hill 300 meters from the beach according to them but there is a curvy road although there is a transfer service from the hotel there is a bus schedule. The parking space is charged € 10 per day since it is difficult to park on the street at least in high season. The square had a leak and we asked to change it, since they did not offer us a very wide employee position for one day, waiting for a client to leave a place. In that they were all very attentive. The room was in a secluded building, I did not like that and the room overlooked a courtyard where employees used to talk and it was not very comfortable. The cleaners were not very attentive, one day they did not change our towels, another day they did not replace toilet paper and on the last day they took our towels away while we had breakfast and I had to go find them so they could give me some to shower before leaving. The first night the remote had no batteries and when I asked for some to be uploaded, they didn't want to and I had to insist. I had half board and it was buffet style. There is a service where they make you feel good and it seems good to me, so that people are not looking and going around. Immediately they clean you and they take away your dirty dishes so much that on two occasions they had taken even the drink that was paid, leaving the table ready for another client. The food is quite bad, I insist, it is painful and there is no variety. There are 5 islands where one is for fruit and desserts (pineapple fruit, melon and watermelon and peach in syrup) once there was something more like bananas ... and several sweets, in fact there were two or three desserts decorated in various ways. Two other islands were for salads and the other two for varieties such as meat and potatoes and some questionable fish. There is also meat and fish service prepared at the moment. At breakfast the same, there is hardly a variety and service of pancakes and eggs at the moment. I did not like anything that around 10 o'clock or before they no longer replenished, if there is not something you run out of it, and they even picked up having customers in the room. That is a 4 star hotel. There are two pools where one makes a small waterfall over the other and a third smaller than in winter is heated. There is a spa service about € 38 for 1 hour. Tennis court, Ping pong, billiards etc, there is also a lounge with a bar next to the pools.

Live a Designed for Adults experience in Almunecar Beach. Modernity at the service of rest. ON Aleta Room, our complete beach hotel in Almunecar, Granada, with Mediterranean inspiration specially designed for comfort. Ideal for couples and groups of friends looking for a perfect vacation in the heart of the Costa Tropical.
I've been coming to Almunecar for nearly 20 years as my parents used to own an apartment in the area. I can remember when this hotel was being built, and when it was the Playa Cotobro Hotel always thought it would be a good place to stay. Fast forward a few years and with COVID (hopefully) on the way out, my partner and I decided to spend five nights here at the end of May 2022. We flew into Granada Airport, and an hour's drive later we were at the hotel. Since being rebranded as the ON Aleta the hotel has been extensively refurbished, and has a contemporary feel, with lots of Chinese/Thai-style furniture. We arrived at around 10pm and were checked into our room within 5 minutes- we had originally booked a non-sea facing room but were pleased to be upgraded to a room on the side of the building that gave a view of the beach. The room was well decorated and spacious. It had a large double bed, extensive wardrobe space and a minibar with complimentary drinks refreshed daily. Unfortunately it does not offer tea & coffee making facilities, which for some reason is very common in hotels in Spain. There was also a balcony with two chairs, and this gave a good view of the beach across the road from the hotel. The bathroom was also of a good size and was clean and modern. Good quality shampoo, shower gel and body lotion were provided, and the shower was one of the best we have used in a hotel. Complimentary beach towels were provided, and these proved very useful. The room had a good sized TV, but only Spanish language channels were offered, which did surprise us given the international nature of the other guests we saw in the hotel. We had breakfast each morning and were impressed with the range and quality on offer. There was a good choice of cold and hot buffet options available, and a chef was on duty to make omelettes, pancakes and other items. Breakfast could be eaten inside or outside on the terrace, though this area does not get much sun in the mornings. Prior to its refurbishment the terrace area contained a swimming pool, and we were slightly disappointed this was no longer there. However there is a smaller pool available on the roof terrace on 5th floor, together with a sun loungers and parasols. The terrace has great views over Cotobro beach, though during our stay it was quite windy so not practical to spend too much time there- however you can imagine it would be a great sun trap in the height of summer. The hotel is a 20-minute walk into Almunecar, where tere are a good range of shops, bars and restaurants available. There is a also a bus stop outside with regular services into the town centre. We hired a car for our stay and there is a car park located under the hotel, though we used the widely available on street parking nearby. We enjoyed our time ON Aleta and would recommend it as a relaxed place to stay when visiting Almunecar.

Hotel in Almuñecar, Costa Tropical, Granada. Family hotel close to the beach. The Hotel Suites Albayzin del Mar in Almuñécar finds itself absorbed in the gardens of the Isla del Ocio declared as a “tourist interest site” with the dream made forms and structures influenced from the Arabic-Andalusian culture. Caribbean huts and cabins between ledges, lattice-windows, domes and a square fountain complex.
We were 2 families of 4, paying 440 euros per night for 2 nights. Having checked in we thought we would eat at the hotel. The restaurant was empty but were told firmly that it was fully booked for dinner. We ordered cocktails and soft drinks, and before we were half way throigh them were approached by the snotty waitress and asked simply ‘cash or card?’. In other words, they wanted us to pay and leave. We were all in a bit of shock. The breakfast was really low quality, especially the dishwater coffee from a 1980’s coffee machine. The only good thing about the place is the pool. Wont be going back!

We booked this hotel for ourselves and our wedding guests and we had the best stay! The staff; Diana and the team, the two guys whose names I can't remember (sorry!) were sooo kind and helpful and always friendly... they were always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the hotel and the location was perfect, so close to the beach and restaurants! We hosted some drinks and tapas on the rooftop of the hotel, which was stunning! The views were great - the sunset drinks and food was delicious! Highly recommend! We staying in a sea view room with a terrace, which was great. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

We only stay in one of the apartments, it was very clean and the staff very friendly but the apartment was for four people and was only coffee for two, no sugar , the bedding was clean but needed an update same for the pillows, our room was overlooking a petrol satiation and was noisy. The room needed a blackout curtains , we couldn’t sleep us was a lot of light in the room and very noisy, the parking was free, in general good value for money ?

As much a restaurant with rooms as a hotel - just four spacious rooms on each of two floors, above and below the bar / restaurant level. We were lucky to be at the top (although unlucky to hit cool, damp weather), with a large terrace with wonderful view of the castle (floodlit at night), some small-scale farming, and the coast. A spacious, comfortable room, although needing a little attention so some wear and tear. Dinner, on a good-value half-pension package, was excellent, with a lively atmosphere in the restaurant with its open-plan kitchen. Good breakfast too, with exceptionally friendly service. 20 minutes walk down to the beach strip of Salobrena, and no noise nuisance from the main road at the back of the hotel.
