We are very pleased with this stay. The hotel was great, the rooms clean and the buffet varied. (Dudoh was perfect with us?) The staff was very welcoming and especially Néstor, a receptionist very available and attentive. We also had a good animation team, like Marcel, a very dynamic and always smiling animator, we recommend you his activities, we had a great time! ? The only problem of the hotel is that there is not necessarily a customer parking, which is not good for a 4 stars hotel. This hotel is also very good for children, there are many activities and space for them.

H10 Playa Esmeralda is an adults-only hotel near Costa Calma, on the southeast coast of Fuerteventura. There's a range of daytime and evening activities organised by the staff, as well as plenty to do independently around the hotel. The hotel's buildings are all arranged to face in towards the pool area. There's a sun terrace and a garden, an outdoor pool with a pool bar, and space to enjoy sports activities in the sunshine. The hotel has three restaurants, one of which was renovated in 2018. There are also several bars to choose from, including a lobby bar with a terrace, and a disco bar, which is open until late. Inside, you'll find a heated indoor pool, as well as a gym for keeping up with your workouts on holiday. You could relax in the spa and sauna when you've finished your exercise. In the evenings, there's live entertainment organised by the hotel, or you can find the table tennis and pool tables for a few friendly games after dinner. The reception at H10 Playa Esmeralda is open 24hrs a day, and there's free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The island of Fuerteventura is popular with holidaymakers of all kinds for its romantic scenery and relaxed way of life. It has sandy beaches and a warm climate, as well as dramatic volcanic landscapes to explore. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop in the many resorts around the island, with lots of local markets and bars to discover.
We are spending our last day here before going to Corralejo. We are staying in the junior suite with a huge balcony, 2 sunloungers, beautiful views of the sea. The service was very good from the start, check in quick and easy. The cleaning service is also great throughout the hotel. The first night we had dinner in the privilege restaurant. Unfortunately the food was not great ( in my case it was inedible baked seabass) so we decided to abandon dinner and use the main restaurant instead. The buffet breakfast and dinner was always very good, we always found something nice to eat, therefore we never used the privilege restaurant again. We went half board, during the day we explored the surrounding beaches, therefore we didn't need lunch. I would highly recommend to visit Morro Jable if you have a rental car. There is a privilege lounge from 9am to 9pm where there are snacks and drinks available throughout the day. The room was amazing, however the A/C is not very effective (to say the least) and we found that this was in issue in the whole complex. We used the gym every day, where there is no A/C at all. The hotel has access to a small beach, which is great, and the pool is also good. We didn't use the spa, as it was too warm. The evening entertainment was good. Costa calma and Sotavento beach is very close. There are shops and pharmacy close by in case you need anything. I would definitely stay here again, however the A/C needs to be improved.

Nice hotel. Good location at the beach. Friendly staff. Clean room. Very good food. Everything was great. Average age was between 60 and 80. But we went there in May not in the holiday season. Costa Calma is a small town. After some days you Wanda see something else. But it is cheap to rent a car to see the rest of the Island.

Still here but wanted to add a review as I always look at Trip Advisor before booking anything. We are here on a weeks holiday and only booked it 10 days ago. The hotel is lovely and big. There are not many people here at the minute but that’s good. Check in was quick and easy and our room is just behind reception. We have a two storey room with two bathrooms and two bedroom. It big enough for us as a family of four. Two double wardrobes and drawers along with a hairdryer in the upstairs bathroom. Air con on both floors too. Just be aware that there are not many plugs in the rooms. At the side of the bed are USB chargers for your phones iPads etc. Food. The food is lovely. There isn’t much choice but there is more than enough to choose from unless you are one of those folk who eats 4-5 plate fulls (because you’re on holiday and it’s all inclusive!). Breakfast has the continental option, along with cereals, nuts and yogurt. They also have bread for toasting, bacon, beans, mini sausages, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and various vegetables. They also have chips. The main restaurant shuts after breakfast and snacks and lunch time are held in the bar near to the pool. The snacks are toasties, Hot Dogs and burgers along with lots of salad options. The main lunch is then a meat (steak, pork chops, chicken in BBq sauce) with rice, vegetables, lots of salads, soups, chips and breads. There is something for everyone. The puddings are also lovely and fresh. When lunch is over they bring out cakes and donuts that are available until 6pm Evening meal is the same with lots of meats, salads, soups. The waiters are lovely and on Thursday we were entertained with live music. The drinks are self serve which is easier. There are a few pool tables dotted around. They are €2 to play on. There is also a small arcade down near the pool for the kids so bring some cash! ? There is a bar by reception that is open from 3pm I believe. The lady in here is lovely and this is where the kids disco takes place at 20:45hours. We don’t have children of that age but the lad who runs it is very energetic and has around 5-6 little kids dancing to the songs. It only lasts for about 20 mins and then there is either a quiz or bingo on. There is also music played on the speakers. Don’t worry it’s not loud. There is a disco on the second floor but this isn’t open. Unsure why but I’m assuming due to not many people being here. So bring a few travel games or Uno to play with the kids. The pool is lovely. There is a mini children’s pool that gets quite warm. The big pool is lovely and once in it’s also warm. Inflatables are allowed and there is no deep end. So no diving in but all the children in there can stand up. Lots of sun beds and parasols. The lifeguard seems to be doing three jobs in one. He’s cleaning, being a lifeguard and putting tiles down around the pool. Very pleasant chap and very polite. There is a shop in the hotel that does sweets, crisps etc. also sells inflatables and flip flops. Bottles of water can be purchased at the bar for €1 but there is a supermarket about two mins from the hotel that sells litre bottles for €1. We have another 3 days left yet and it’s been a lovely holiday so far. Little gem of a place ?

A very quiet hotel - it's up in the hills above Costa Calma, 30 minute walk from most central locations however a taxi ride to/ from spar top of the town centre is only 4.5 euros. Large suites, with two large single beds joined together and a large bathroom with walk in shower; a big double wardrobe with some shelving, two drawers and shoe space. There is a further unit to put your cases on with more storage below for shoes and there is also a sideboard and chair in front of TV. Don’t worry if you forget your euro plugs as there are USB ports two each on either side of the bed for charging your devices (This saved my husband’s bacon as he brought the USA plugs and not the euro plugs lol). There is a separate vanity unit in between the bathroom and the sleeping area which has a sink and a large mirror. The fridge was not working in our room however our daughter was in the next room so we used her fridge so please do check when you arrive. Lovely wide balcony out front, with two chairs and a small table as well as a hanging area for drying clothes. There is also a hair dryer as well as hotel supplied shampoo, soap and small units of shower gel and two toothbrushes. The hotel provides two glasses plus a kettle and two cups however there is no tea or coffee provided in the room so you will need to pick this up from either the bar area or the restaurant. There is no cold milk to be found so you could get some hot milk from one of the coffee machines. If you are a Brit I would recommend bringing your own tea with you as the tea here is not great. Rooms are cleaned daily, and you can have your towels changed every day if you wish. If you don't bring your own towel with you, it’s a €20 charge per towel from your room to take to the poolside. This is a very small hotel with few amenities. Do not expect it to be like other venues that you have been to with all inc snacks and cooked food outside of the normal mealtimes. There are none between breakfast and lunch and the only snacks that come out in the afternoon are between five and six when most people have left pool area and really is an absolute waste of money and resources for the hotel and only consists of biscuits and donuts. There is no entertainment of an evening, no music playing in the background and there is no soft seating area after the evening meal, so you your only option is to sit at your dining table until such time that the restaurant completely closes or go back to your room and sit on your balcony. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor below the pool area. There are large open vents which resulted in it becoming a wind tunnel, with quite a breeze whipping in from above. A lot of guests in jumpers, coats, hoodies, etc throughout the serving sessions. Breakfast is made up of fruit, yoghurt, cheese, the usual continental stuff but also scrambled eggs baked beans and instead of bacon it's pancetta. There is a separate area where the cook will make you fried eggs, omelettes, pancakes; boiled eggs are already made. There is self-serve juice and coffee / hot water machines during mealtimes as well as a water cooler. For lunch and evening meals there is a waiter service for drinks. At lunchtime in restaurant, you can only have wine, water or soft drinks – no beers/lagers. For the evening meal you have the all-inclusive area and there is also an al la carte menu this is in addition to the all-inc however as expected you can only order one thing off the al la carte menu. Drinks can also be hit and miss. One eve we asked for a daiquiri (which we had had on a previous occasion) but there were no mixers or fruit in main restaurant so had to choose another drink. On arrival we were given a list of the all-inc drinks which had the usual local spirits, wine and lagers as well as soft drinks. However, there are only three cocktails on the all-inc list (all the time – no swapping out or offering different choices on different days) a mojito, a virgin mojito and a pina colada. Anything outside of this you must pay in Euros. But don’t forget like most European restaurants (or pubs) alcohol serving size is quite generous. We also had a bottle of wine one night which only came in at £13 but I know back home and would pay at least £19 to £23. Poolside (for March) no issues with getting or retaining a sun lounger and pool temperature was good; shower for washing and ladies and gents toilets conveniently near. Staff were polite, with the cleaning staff particularly friendly. Service in restaurant and poolside a little hit and miss. Poolside there is supposed to be service from 10am but often was nearer to 11 before they turned up, but these would have been staff dealing with breakfast crowd so to be expected they could not be there until everything cleared away. In the restaurant, the staff were extremely busy with little scope to be friendly or personable – a smile would not go amiss. Probably not a hotel that I would visit again given its location away from the town centre and lack of amenities.

The SBH Costa Calma Beach Resort is a 4-star rated modern complex, active and with a lot of space. If you do not want to care about food an drinks, sorts and entertainment: selct our "all inclusive" program. Beach, sunshine and our excellent service brings you your well-deserved recreation.
SBH Costa Calma Beach Resort is a perfect location. Is something wrong in your room? A positive reaction is immediately taken. The food is good, everything (room, corridors, restaurant) is clean. The staff is friendly Suggestions: Play background music in the restaurant WiFi in the room is too too too expensive (€ 7,- per dag!!!. Outsite the resort, in the front, it needs very hard to clean (fallen trees, leaves and other mess)

Discover our holiday homes in the Canary Islands Fuerteventura-Costa CalmaAre located in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). In the heart of Atlantic, it has impressive dunes, more than three thousand hours of sun per year, fine sand beaches, clear turquoise waters… and a silence that takes us thousands of kilometers away from civilized world. If anybody is thinking of the Caribbean: wrong, come to Fuerteventura.
Much, much better than expected. The staff are so friendly and the whole complex is very clean, including the swimming pool, although typical of all outside pools very cold , but refreshing. The apartment was very well equipped , really comfortable bed,and spacious really as good as the photos . Will definitely stay here again at this time of year as such a lovely quiet retreat .

Hotel recomendado
