Being that little bit out of town means this is a perfectly calm place to stay. Great view of the hills from my terrace. Smashing pool area, all terraced and well maintained. Well appointed room, and friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Hotel "Princes de Catalogne" offers you comfort in a trendy atmosphere in the heart of Catalan authenticity. You are welcome in our hotel, in Collioure. Wonderful small town between Mediterranean Sea and mountains, combining art, history and ancient traditions. Our hotel, ideally located in the heart of the village, offers 30 rooms 2 minutes from the sea. You will be warmly welcomed and advised throughout the year, for a stopover, holiday or business trip.
Conveniently located near the center of town and availability in the off-season are two the properties strongest attributes. The room had some appreciated amenities such as a mini-bar but no coffee/tea sevice. There was a tub but it had a shower curtain (the occasional active germaphobe in me cringes when I see a shower curtain), however the room is in need of an update and the lighting is terrible. The two different people we encountered at the front desk where very professional and helpful.

The Hotel offers 19 Rooms and 4 suites, all facing the sea and the Village of Collioure, and a Michelin starred restaurant Swimming Pool, jacuzzi, massages Parking for guests of the hotel only Direct access to the beach 10mn walking distance from the village
Nestled on the outskirts of Collioure this hotel is a real gem. The view from the room was great (see pics). You can walk along the sea to get to Collioure. Room was big enough and we had a nice balcony. There is a pool (but too cold) as well as a small Jacuzzi. Staff were professionals and very friendly, willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable. Special thanks to Sebastien, Thomas and Cyprien.

There are so many things that are delightful about this new small hotel. But there are some aggravating and dumb shortcomings, all or most of which could be resolved with minimal effort. First, the enchanting parts. the location is absolutely stunning, on perhaps the most romantic vista of the old town and sea imaginable. Carved into the cliffs, the hotel is not garish, at least from the inside looking out. The design is soothing and a bit minimalist, but perfect for its natural setting. There is not enough parking for all the rooms, but geology can be unforgiving. You can only wedge so many spaces into a cliff. I don't know if the hotel provides any guidance to any guests who come up short. They should. As to those lucky enough to have a space, it is obtuse not to provide guests with the gate code in advance. Stopping on the corkscrew road and having to call for someone to open the gate is both dangerous and stressful. The staff is thoroughly delightful, informal and helpful when requested. But because there appears to be no formal check-in, again it would be good to let everyone know the code to enter the hotel elevator before you get stuck at a locked door. The bed, bathroom and shower area are all well designed and exemplary, as is the little terrace facing the sea. But it is basic hotel practice to leave a second roll of toilet paper, a lesson that hasn't been learned here. The restaurant for dinner is splendid, fair value and a worthy addition to the Collioure dining scene. Breakfast is fine, if not exceptional. Some offerings are first rate (best pain au chocolat on our trip), but we would have liked to see some artisanal yogurt, although candidly we didn't ask Typical of the region, there were no english language channels on the television. For a few euros more, they should add at least one or two news channels for us anglophones. With the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, this is not a luxury. The most disappointing demerits go for the wifi, which in our room was somewhere between awful and non-existent. I could run circles around it with the 2G roaming service on my phone, but my laptop appeared to be running slower than paint dries. Nearly all of us rely on the internet for many things today. Upgrade the wifi or say you are a non wifi hotel and face the consequences. We would like to come back. We would also like to see all of these unnecessary faults corrected quickly, for everyone's sake.

We arrived by car on a hot afternoon in early June; the car park is private and secluded at the back of the hotel. The receptionist met us in the car park and showed us the way, past the pool, to the hotel. Everything about this hotel has been carefully thought through; it feels very much like a labour of love! The swimming pool area is delightful, as are the courtyard gardens leading to the main building. Our room was on the second floor, in the roof space. It was very tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed with fairly decent pillows, and a modern bathroom with shower. The room, and the rest of the hotel were very quiet and peaceful. The only fault with the room is that the shower was too low for me (I am just over 6’ tall), but it was such a minor thing it does not stop me giving a 5 star review. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and some meat (we don’t eat meat), cheeses, smoked salmon, delicious fresh bread and pastries and more. Everything here is just really good. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient, the public spaces are beautiful, and the decor is really well done. Even though it is an old building, it feels fresh and loved! Highly recommended!

Very nice and charming hotel build in the center of this pretty little city and very near from the beaches...
Great little hotel with good service. The location is great as in the city center. A small minus is the absence of parking. Rooms are clean and very nice. We will definitely try to come back as it is also very quiet despite being in the city center.

We really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights. We booked a room in the Pavilion and upgraded to a larger one for a small fee. The room was delightful, clean and perfect size with a terrace and a private entrance. We also had a small fridge very usual for those pre dinner aperos! We had our small dog with us so this was ideal. The air conditioning was very welcome as we arrived when it was 35 degrees!. The room was quiet. The hotel has a perfect location. You are never more than a few minutes walk from anything and about 2 mins from Chateau Royal. There is a Carrefour Express just 1 min away, auto banks, bars, restaurants etc ... everything you need on your doorstep. We parked our car at the hotel, they do have limited spaces, so maybe we were lucky. Breakfast is a buffet with cold meats, cheeses, breads, jams, pastries, yogurts, fruit etc. All presented very well. It's not the cheapest hotel but you get what you pay for.We would definitely stay here again. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean well equipped rooms and great location.

The location of the hotel is it's main attraction. Literally overlooking the pretty beach and town of Collioure. As close to the water's edge as you could possibly get. We stayed here in what must be classed as the low season (early April), but I can imagine that coming here in the height of summer would be a different proposition. Opted for a room with a view over the bay, but it wasn't particularly well appointed and the bathroom required gymnastic ability to negotiate due to it's, let's say compact and bijou, dimensions. The breakfast buffet in the morning was reasonable enough, with the owner literally crossing the road for more fresh croissants from the bakery when he was running low. As it was not too busy finding a parking spot in the municipal car park was not too much of a problem, but I can imagine in the height of summer this would be a massive frustration and there is a charge to pay as well. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

It has a lovely restaurant and is wonderfully located near the beach and old town. Staff were really informative and gave great advice about restaurants, quiet beaches etc

Always worth a stop here, an old haunt of Picasso & Co (evidence on the walls) though the outside area is more of a tourist magnet under its canopy, don’t miss the interior, though ! Good grub, great drinks selection & friendly staff.
