Nice place to stay
Reviewed By Guide630360It is a nice property but you will need to rely on having a car, taxi, the hotel shuttle, or uber. They are located in a remote exclusive part of town. I slept super safe and had 2 restaurants and a 24 hour grocery store within walking distance. However, it is not close to shopping, tourist, us consulate areas.

Reviewed By alma13fI went to City Express Juarez from Dec.12-Dec.23. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The kitchen lady Tita is super nice. The door man Mr. Juarez is nice and friendly. I would have given them a 5 but the beds are a bit hard and the free breakfast is good but is the same thing everyday. You have eggs, beans, and chips and sauce to do it like chilaquiles. It is good but every morning for almost 2 weeks is too much. Overall a very great experience and close to the shopping mall and the US consulate.

Bad experience
Reviewed By RobertsonCruseuStayed 3 days, on the first night the ac in our room was not working, around 3 in the morning had not been able to sleep because of the heat they changed our room, we had to grab all our stuff and go to another room, with the same issue, we haf to change floors, until we got one that had the ac workin, (worked for a day) then it went out also. The room was "clean" but not that well, the phone in my room was not working either, the water pressure in the shower was very low. On top of that we had issues with the "manager" because we requested another bucket for the ice, because we had some family come and visit us, they would not let us borrow another one because they said it was one per room,they did suggest using the bathroom sink to put the ice there(yuk!), one of the employees tried to sell us the ice, when he left, another lady that worked there told us that, they did not sell the the ice, that he was lying. So it was a bad experience, next time i will go next door to holiday inn.

To get room service you need to call & call for about 30 minutes to get an answer. Look for better places around the block.

Did not hold my reservation
Reviewed By charlitosfvI had a reservation for 2 nights from July 8th to July 10th. My flight was delayed so I arrived at the hotel at midnight. The person in the reception toll me that my reservation did not exist and that the hotel was full. I had to look for another hotel in the middle of the night. Next morning I found that my credit card was charged for the night. I called to the hotel and ask to speak with Salvador Alba which is supposed to be the manager but he did not want to take my call saying that he was busy. I called later and he again did not take my call. I am going to escalate this matter with Wyndham since I always star in their hotels and never had this experience.

Very poorly managed. Holy staffed. No clean towels available.
Reviewed By Chrome1007This is a fairly decent hotel. Very short staffed. Very poorly managed. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and very very very difficult to get clean towels. Housekeeping says that the front desk will not give them towels so therefore they don’t have any towels to give the customers. Call Holiday Inn this is actually pathetic.

Also the bar made great drinks i like the bloody marie highly recommend. You know I think it is a good idea to use your door key to turn on your electricity in your room

Much room for improvement
Reviewed By 34larrisabThis hotel was a last minute choice due to a change in plans. We decided on this hotel due to its proximity to the consulate and the cost for two rooms for one night. We booked through Expedia and the cost was reasonable however we were surprised to be charged a cash deposit at check in. This charge is nowhere to be found on Expedia website and we were not prepared for this charge so actually had to drive to find an atm which was a hassle. The beds are very firm, too firm for my comfort and the pillows are too soft! The lights from the hallway flood through the bottom of the door and there is a lot of noise on the first floor. Construction work started early in the morning. The bathroom walls were dirty and the tv in one room had bad reception. We didn’t get to eat breakfast so no review on that. We were happy that the hotel has a laundry on the first floor that you have to pay for but it helped. The little store is a convenience also. Overall, we will choose another hotel if/when we travel to Juarez.
