I booked the package through abhivadan expedition holidays Pvt Ltd. The agents from abhivadan are not supportive and thrive for money. They never see comfort of the travellers. I highly recommend travellers not to go with this agent. About hotel, the staff were saying something and do something different. The food was also not good enough. After checking out from the hotel, I tried to contact them for some queries but they didn’t responded. I do not recommend travellers to visit chitwan as it’s waste of time to go for “jungle safari” as you only can see deers and sometimes rhinos. The better to visit Kaziranga national park in India for tigers and rhinos and many other wild animals. There is nothing else in chitwan. The village site seeing is the worst as even any guide don’t know properly anything and the people in the village are much modern now. About the agent from abhivadan, I just fed up with them.

Without doubt one of the favorite Resort/Hotel I stayed last February! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by all staff to the hotel manager – Ms. Camil and Bimal did a sweet check-in ritual. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant staff Chitra and Anja are such delight, everyone has a warm smile and very flexible on my little requests (appreciate this!) and the restaurant manager deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. As I call it magical evenings by the river and the cultural evening! The first day we did a jeep safari which was guided by Man. He and along with one more guide (sorry forgot the name) have such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking safari on day 2 - the four of us through the lush jungle. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The surprise warm flower bath with personal note arranged by Ms Camil and her team on the end was so thoughtful and a great way to end our last night at this place! Note, this is not the best weather when we were at the property, but the atmosphere and the personal touch is so special that it really felt like home to me. All mad respect for the management and the whole team who does a wonderful job here! a true model of excellent hospitality from the heart. Top class and Unparalleled!

Kasara is located on the borders of Chitwan National Park, the most visited national park in the country which is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kasara has 35 upscale Deluxe Villas as well as two Family villas which comes with a private infinity-edge plunge pools. From the conception of this resort, we have adhered to the ethos of simplicity and functionality. Our design aspiration was simple: a minimalist contemporary style which incorporates local materials and architectural heritage with nature to create a richly layered experience. Our emphasis is to offer our guests a high quality, healthy and delicious gastronomical experience served in a unique natural ambiance. Kasara offers a range of activities in a tranquil and inspiring environment, meaningful interaction with local culture that provides knowledge and an experience that the guest can take way with them.
This is a pretty place with extremely wonderful staff, they are always ready to help and with a smile. The food is yum, especially the Nepali thali. The rooms / villa is neat and clean. The drawback / Usp could be the creepy crawlies like lizard, leeches and frogs in the open bathrooms. If one is comfortable with nature and insects in the bathroom it is great, if not then it will be scary. They do come and throw them out immediately. Lizard in the dining room could also be a put off for many. The jungle safari was too good, the naturalist mr Chowdhary knew his job well, Surinder drove well. Mr Nandu was also good in the first safari. In all we saw 7 Rhinos, monkeys, monitor lizard, deers and many birds. The picnic breakfast and iced tea in the middle of the jungle was quite an experience. A memorable trip

Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique jungle lodge built on isolated jungle property of 18.1 acres. Each cottage is designed in the manner of local Tharu tribe cottages with added modern comforts and amenities . Our operational concept is built on conservation, responsible tourism, and a commitment to local communities. We give employment preference to local villagers and employ active measures to conserve energy and resources consumed within our operations. Our resort is fully self contained and we own our own on site restaurant, elephants, boats, and off road vehicles to ensure activities operate smoothly. We offer various all inclusive packages which we are happy to customize to meet your needs as an individual traveler or group.
I recently spent two night at this resort and have to say that it was one of my worst travel experiences. We were taking for a boat ride in the river, which was pleasant and were expected to meet down the river bank with a set up picnic to view the sunset. When we arrived, there was no one there and were told that there was a slight delay and the set up would be done in five minutes. The five minutes turned into one hour and there was a “no show”. We stood at the bank like idiots while the rest of the customers from the other resorts enjoyed a relaxed sunset. I rang and tried to talk to the manger who had nothing but excuses to present which seemed to suggest that it was not their fault. Not only was he not helpful but also rude, impolite and lacked the basic communication skills to deal with a justifiably irate client. Upon return to the resort, I asked to meet the manager but he was conveniently absent. I categorically asked to speak with him, but he did not show up and even when we left the next morning he was no where to be found. I guess he did not think that it was worthwhile or necessary to personally explain and apologize to the client. I have never felt so taken for granted in my entire life. There was also no hot water in the room and when we had complained we were told that “perhaps we had turned the wrong nob” because there is constant “boiling” water in the property (we must be a bunch of idiots). They however promised to look into it and assured us of hot water but when we returned after the no show - “no hot water” (why am I not surprised). They then promised to look into the matter and at around 10:00 said they would send an electrician!!!! Two days no shower is not a fun way to experience a safari. On the positives, the support staff was friendly and genuinely welcoming , the food was good (nothing to rave about but good), the jungle safari was fun if you were willing to overlook the dilapidated condition of the vehicle, the room was simple but spacious but evident that they had not done a check to see if it was in good order before clients were hosted (power plugs not working, no batteries in the remote, not well aeriated etc). The entire set up lacked the “eye for details”. Over all very disappointed and would not recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating and stress free experience.

Abode Of The Unicorn – The Greater One Horned Rhino The park is teeming with wildlife with 68 species of mammals recorded. The list includes the Greater One Horned Rhino, Royal Bengal tiger, leopard, Gaur, wild dogs, sloth bear and jackals. The water bodies afford the patient visitor glimpses of the prehistoric looking Mugger crocodiles as well as the long snouted Gharial crocodile too can be spotted basking on the banks of rivers.
Fantastic welcome and stay from the first moment to the last . The staff could not do enough for you , all doing whatever they can to ensure your stay is as good as it can be . The food caters for all nationalities and enough to satisfy your taste buds. The Chalet apartments fit well into the jungle environment giving you a safe haven with a feeling of being in the jungle The walks , Jeep safari and canoe trip are all exciting with the abundance of wildlife expertly pointed out by the fantastic guides . No we didnt see the tigers but the droppings and scrapings were pointed out , adding to the anticipation . Overall a great short stay , a total contrast to our trek to Everest Base Camp Thank you

As hotel was on the bank of river and now on river army has built short of wall so one side of flow is not there and became tar road and lots of hotels popped up. Room was cleaned. Staff is very friendly particularly Mr. Arjun. Unfortunately in the month of May 3rd May) it was raining very heavily. Breakfast has little choice but sufficient. Book your activities and forward bus journey by yourself only do not do it through hotel staff. In house restaurant has limited menu but food was very good and reasonable. Lots of nice hotels in the vicinity at same rate with better infra and facilities.

A rustic lodge on the banks of the Rapti River. Stay in small duplex style cabins across the Rapti River from Chitwan National Park. The rooms are air-conditioned. The beds are fine and the bathrooms have hot water. Wifi is available at the main lodge. The food was fresh and delicious. Staff attentive with good service. They house four Asian Elephants so you can meet them and even participate in bathing them in the river. Good place to stay for a "real" Chitwan experience.
