This hotel is 11 k from Cagliari and you should understand this when you book. If you have your own car it is an easy drive to Cagliari centre, it is also convenient for the airport, and for tourism to the West of Cagliari. The hotel is basic but entirely satisfactory. UK customers would equate it with a Travelodge or Premier Inn but better. Our 'superior' room was a good size, updated, and with a good, firm, king size bed. There is a mini-bar. The kitchenette facility is sealed up, probably permanently which is a pity. There is no kettle in the room. Good air-con. Clean The swimming pool is large, pleasant, clean, and supervised. The front desk staff are extremely helpful with good English. The restaurant is busy with tour groups and noisy. We ate out for dinner on each of our four nights. The breakfast is just OK; plentiful, but the ham is cheap. the juice from a machine, and the coffee average. There are some restaurants close by, mainly fast food/pizza and a Michelin rated seafood restaurant which we didn't visit because it appeared excessively expensive. We strongly recommend 'Arcadia' for which you need a car, and L'Altro Cielo which is just about walkable. The surrounding area is natural/reclaimed wetland and twitchers will be interested in the flamingos close by. Our stay was very satisfactory

Gentarrubia is a small, charming B&B in Capoterra along the south coast of Sardinia. It offers modern rooms, and both an outdoor swimming pool and a heated indoor swimming pool with hot tub. All air-conditioned, rooms at Gentarrubia come with a minibar, safe, 32" LCD TV with pay-per-view channels, and Wi-Fi. Rooms feature classic furniture and parquet floors. Sardinian Holiday Farm Bed&Breakfast Our business has been running since the 60's as a family run vegetable farm. We grow mainly fruit, tomatoes and vegetables in our glasshouses. In 2000 we expanded into the "Agriturismo" (Agricultural Tourism) industry, catering for the ever increasing tourist needs to experience the joys and riches of a traditional a Sardinian lifestyle in a modern and comfortable environment. Ideally located between the white sands of Maddalena Spiaggia , and the Mountains of Capoterra. Agricantus is an ideal location for visitors to explore all the treasures that Sardinia has to offer. For those with their own transport itineraries can be arraigned to experience the surrounding areas : Take a walk in the Mountains surrounded by sweet smelling Mediterranean Vegetation or visit some of the many pristine white sandy beaches renowned as some of the best in the world. Alternatively take a mountain bike or horse ride through the many nature trails and country lanes to discover natural Oasis where animals like the Sardinian deer graze and where pink flamingos feed. For who love the sea there are many water sports like, snorkelling, scuba diving, windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing available.

Hotel Tanca Irde is located on a small hill between the mountains and the sea, within the area of Capoterra and only a few kilometres from Cagliari and its airport. The hotel, which is open all year round, is surrounded by ample grounds containing a swimming pool and private carpark. It offers its customers a cosy and home-like environment, ideal for spending a relaxing holiday. From the hotel, which is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and Mediterranean undergrowth, visitors are able to admire from a distance the view of Cagliari and its surrounding golf. The hotel’s central position within the south-eastern coast of Sardinia allows it to be a strategic point for those who would like to get to know the southern part of the island, or for those who are visiting Cagliari on business. The hotel is only a few kilometres from the beautiful beaches of Nora, the first Punic city of Sardinia, and Chia, a stunning stretch of white sandy beach and small intimate bays. The hotel is also only two kilometres away from the vast WWF natural park of Monte Arcosu, inhabited by sardinian deer, and one kilometre away from the acquatic oasis of the Santa Gilla marshes where flamingos and numerous other species of water bird nest.
If you speak Italian, you'll be better off. Only the owner's son, who worked nights, could speak English. The hotel has about 10 rooms situated around a courtyard, but has a big pool and a big restaurant. We had a nice lunch in the restaurant, despite them being out of a lot of stuff (it was past the tourist season), and despite them being very busy with what looked like a road construction crew that was working nearby. Surprisingly, they had a couple of menus in English, so we didn't need to rely on Google Translate. Unfortunately, the rooms were without had soap and cups. Any they have no laundry facilities, but they provide drying racks outside the rooms if you want to wash your clothes in the sink. Overall, it was a good value for what we wanted (specific location close to relatives).

We were 6 friends that stayed here for 10 days. Extremely relaxing and the people are great with great suggestions of where to go for the best beaches! The room was lovely and there was everything wanted. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Esperienza pessima.
