We came down the Camino De Santiago from Somport and needed somewhere to eat and recover. The menu de dia was excellent; good choices for all 3 courses and the food was well cooked and presented. The service was also good. The pool looked very inviting but we couldn’t use it because we weren’t staying there.

We stayed here while walking on the Voie d'Arles/Camino Aragones. The albergue was perfect for our needs. Three of us stayed in a room for 4 with its own bathroom. There were two sets of bunkbeds, which were as comfortable as bunk beds can be. The albergue was very clean. The only complaint is that the shower was quite small. The hospitalera could not have been more friendly. A service laundry was available. A kitchen is available to use but there are also plenty of nearby bars and restaurants.

A unique hotel in the Pyrenees, to enjoy the quietness of the mountains.
My room were clean and apacious, and very quirt, Only one and a very small elevator. The restaurant serve great food. The staff don't speak English, apart from the staff at the front dest, who speak a little English. I would like to come back.

Booked as a one night stopover on the way down further into Spain. Lovely location and good value for money. Breakfast of ham, cheese, cake and biscuits along with coffee and juice. Enough to start the day. My Spanish is very limited though the proprietor spoke a little English so no problems.

The male owner is very nice. The wife, not so much. I'd love to have given a good review, because there aren't many options in Canfranc. However, this was my experience. When we stayed here, it was FREEZING - there was no heat and it was snowing outside! The inside of Pepito was like a walk-in freezer. We had been walking in the wet snow and sleet and were so cold! Not only was the weather cold, the wife of the owner was frosty as well. When we asked them to PLEASE turn on the heat, so we could dry out, the wife told me, "This is not America, this is Spain, and there will be NO heat!" Then she told her husband, not realizing I spoke Spanish, "If they don't like it they can go someplace else!" Granted, she was sick with the flu, so maybe she wished she was in a warm bed. I speak enough Spanish to also chuckle when he told her to "Smile!" I felt sorry for the guy,who seemed really nice. This year, we'll look for alternative lodgings for our group. Too bad, because it's the perfect place for pilgrims. I'm happy to see others may have had a better experience.

Stopped by for lunch. Excellent value at €9 and €2.5 for a large beer. Delightful waitress who was keen to improve her English. Home cooked authentic local cuisine. The stuffed aubergine starter was great as were the calamares. Includes sweet or coffee.
