Renovated hotel with potential for optimisation
Reviewed By oter5Four of us were guests at the hotel for two nights in one double and two single rooms. The reception was rather cool but friendly. The property is renovated and the rooms are ok. The rooms in direction to the Mainstreet are in the Morning bit noisy but ok. - In general, there is a lack of overview and organised service staff. I think the hotel still lacks a clear concept. - The restaurant is nice and for me rather oversized with a lot of ventilation systems. - At the morning meal, one of the service staff was unfortunately completely overwhelmed but very nice. - The furnishing of the house is a matter of taste, unfortunately it is not my style. Too much shabby-chic. Less would be more (also more autentic-style is recommended). We had a nice stay but there is still a lot of potential for improvement. And the fact that the pool may not be used on the day of departure is a no-go.

A relaxing vacation with breathtaking views!
Reviewed By nikkijames82I spend four nights at Residenza San Vito and it was magical. I definitely recommend a wine tasting with lunch! The Avenna wines that are made on the estate are amazing. I have already shipped them back home so I can share them with friends. By the time we left the staff felt like friends and it was sad to say goodbye. I will be going back sometime soon. If you want somewhere to relax, recharge and breathe this is definitely a place I would recommend!

Reviewed By barbg905We have stayed 3 times at this agritourismo and I can give it nothing less that 5 Stars. Maria is lovely, her son Emanelle as well. The breakfast is like no other. The view of the vineyards amazing, and the hosts are helpful in every respect. nb their main business is making wine! save room in your car to take some home. The minibar has everything you need. I cannot recommend this place enough.

A visit to the White Truffle Fest
Reviewed By aisaksonOur group of 8 stayed here for a long weekend to visit the White Truffle Fest in Alba as well as explore the local markets, wineries and nearby towns. It is a family run Bed & Breakfast. The host family is warm and welcoming and they are fantastic cooks as well. Wish it had been warmer and we could have tried out the pool. But, still a wonderful time.

Amazing hospitality in peaceful surroundings
Reviewed By ttravvellerWe hadn't plan to stay in Alle Rive and found it by a lucky chance and it became one of the memorable stops on our trip to Piemonte. It is a charming house with a lovely garden on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside. The peace and quiet of the place is complete. As is the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts. From the first moment we felt more than welcome and very well looked after. The puree from the freshly plucked apricots from the garden was delicious.

Reviewed By wolf482Nice appartment in a fully renovated authentic old farmhouse, situated on a hill in the middle of the vineyards. The very nice owner is always happy to share information and good advice on places to visit, where to eat, etc. There's some great restaurants closeby, serving fantastic Piemontese food. The pool is very well looked after and well equiped ( comfortable seats, umbrella's,..).There's a nice playground for children in Calamandrana ( 5 min away from the house). Turin is an hour drive away. Alba, Asti & Acqui Terme are closer and also nice towns to visit. The famous wine villages ( Barolo, Barbaresco ) are closeby. If you need an ideal base to start discovering Piemonte,, which is situated in quiet and peaceful surroundings, then look no further.
