Little touches like a log fire, comfy sofas, live entertainment. I went with a couple of friends and our apartment a ideal. A duplex with full kitchen facilities. Lovely very modern bsthrooms

Great Hotel
Reviewed By anetteheldStayed at Grupotel Gran vista & spa together with my son and it was great. Very helpful and friendly staff and the hotel and rooms are very clean. We had the Breakfast buffet and it was delicious and so much to chose from. There're different pools and they're all great. The Spa area is also nice. I would definitely come back if possible.

Reviewed By James_Furzer03The most incredible family time. Rooms and hotel are clean. Pools are well maintained and great fun. Food was superb, staff were superb. If I had to be truly English and find something to moan about, perhaps the bar staff could be quicker, and and lunch time food could take a while to be served due to demand but that’s just trying to find fault. Will without a doubt return and highly recommend you try this hotel and it’s staff. Entertainment was also brilliant.

Reviewed By FrancescaR1020Currently here at the moment. Family of 5 (kids 8,6 and 2) and we are absolutely loving it. If you have booked you will not be disappointed! All of the facilities are clean and the pools are spotless. Staff friendly and eager to make sure you have everything you need. Spoilt for choice with drinks, food, even our fussy toddler has plenty to eat. The rooms are pretty basic but functional, clean and ideal for kids clambering around with swim stuff etc. The whole site is well maintained and the grounds and gardens are beautiful! We will 100% be back!! Perfect family holiday!

Mini fridge, flat screen 32 inches. Renovated bathroom. Expansion and improvement of the restaurant, new buffet with show cooking Meeting Room, Gym, room for bicycles New furniture and decoration of the Bar Salon and Reception Outdoor playground and mini club. The new BQ LOUNGE, separate area from the main building, where you can enjoy the large swimming pool and bar and snack during the day. Great location for beach, bars, shops, restaurants, but hotel has no atmosphere.
Reviewed By Debbie RThe room was clean and fresh towels every day. Air con kept room at comfortable temperature for sleeping. Comfortable bed. All of these things one expects however in a 4 star hotel. The location is very good. I would give it 4/5 for location and 4/5 for comfortable bedroom. But 3/5 for food and 2/5 for lack of ambience. Reception staff were generally very pleasant. They very helpful but was one exception and that was the night that I arrived I found the room I was allocated was too close to the evening entertainment and I asked if I could move I was told there was only one other room I could be moved to on the second floor. But told it was worse, noise-wise. I was given the impression that the hotel was full when in fact another member of staff a few days later told me it was only 50% occupancy so there was no reason why I couldn't have been moved to a different quiet room. I really don't understand this, and am disappointed really with the hotel. I would have been happy to pay a little bit extra, if required, but I wasn't given any options, apart from one room on the second floor. I had paid for double room- single occupancy. In the end the room I had was ok after the first night, and I did not ask again about moving, but only because I thought there was no choice. I did find the hotel lacking in any personality, the lounge and bar was almost empty every night. Also the live music was average, They really need to bring in younger fresh acts. Maybe then, people might want to have a drink in the bar. In a 4-star hotel I would expect there to be a pool bar - outside, with service open all day. Instead you had to go in to the bar and sometimes there was no one working in the bar and you had to go to the reception and ask if a member of staff could come serve. There was a 2nd pool, with a bar, but it was across the road. I found the evening buffet to be ok but inconsistent in terms of food quality. It was often luke warm and not much choice of hot food, if I compare it to other hotels I have stayed in, it was not good at all. I tried a dish that was described as Thai curry one evening. it was bland with a slight flavour of coconut but other than that, it was tasteless. The hotel had no atmosphere, even the entertainment staff complained that it was too quiet. I appreciate the quietness could be due to the time of the year perhaps, because it was just the beginning of June. Maybe there's a bit more happening in the height of the season. Playing some nice music in the dining hall would have helped. I would suggest take breakfast and room, or room only, and eat out in evenings as there's lots of lovely restaurants very close by on the seafront, and there is a great atmosphere, great food and cocktails. At least you can find a holiday atmosphere outside of this hotel.

Reviewed By Michele FOnly went for a two night stay. Hotel was very nice, room was perfect for myself, nicely decorated Shower was very good, nice temperature and power just right. As a solo guest was nice to have English speaking television channels. Only one thing could of improved my stay, would of been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in room, however that does not impact my rating. I had breakfast and evening meal, the choices were fabulous and food was nice and hot. The only negative for myself was that I didn’t stay longer?

Could be truly great but needs some corrections: Asked for shower soap but didn’t get any despite promises from front desk; most disinfectant dispensers in public areas have been empty for days; general lack of enthusiasm of some front desk staff (does not apply to highly motivated maintenance, room cleaning and kitchen staff). A touch more attention to detail and the place would deserve its 4 stars.

Reviewed By jax90Shocked at how tui are doing this hotel but the whole hotel is in german. Gernan menus instructuons rules. Every single label sign was in german Rhere were mo english rhough tui are selling the hotel. More should have been done. There was no atmosphere anywhere The staff were lovely they could not do enough for you the hotel was so clean which was lovely. We felt very alienated to be honest. I hope points are taken

Reviewed By MrphillipThe room had a great view and sunny balcony. Friendly staff. I don’t understand a previous comment about the food because there is a wide choice. Yes good sausages plus anything for an English breakfast. I had freshly carved pork with gravy for dinner and it was delicious. The menu changes every night.
