Decent hotel in a good location
Reviewed By HorseLady5580This hotel was decent. Not brand new, but clean. It's in a good location, right next to a Cracker Barrel. Bed was a little soft. Hairdryer was the standard small wimpy hairdryer. The shower head was terrible. Hardly enough pressure to rinse out shampoo and conditioner. Rooms were good size. Breakfast had enough offerings, and they could even make you hot eggs or french toast for a small additional charge. We didn't even think about going to Cracker Barrel since this was right in the same building. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I had asked for feather free pillows when I made the reservation, and that is exactly what we found in our room. We only stayed one night so I cannot remember much more.

What a GEM of a hotel!!
Reviewed By Daydream00135503513Absolutely a five star cool place! Everything spot on with the decor and hip theme, and so tastefully done. The whole place and our room was pristine. We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite, and it was such a great room. Exposed brick walls, great bathroom/walk-in shower/towels/amenities. The beds are really comfortable, and the bedding was so crisp and so fresh, you felt like you were the first person to have slept there. Everyone we encountered was super nice. Thank you to Catrina for going above and beyond helping us with the reservation when your Internet was knocked out by a storm,… and to CG (sp?) at the front desk who rocked!!! We brought our dog Delta, and she was so welcomed with a bag of treats, and offers of dog bowls. There is a large grassy area at the hotel that worked great for her. On my wish list would be that the restaurant on the hotel property would allow dogs on their great patio. That would have been a perfect setup. Everyone we encountered in the downtown of Bristol is super dog friendly. We had beers with her at the State street brewery, and dinner on the patio at Quaker bar/restaurant. Live music everywhere on a Friday night! The hotel is wonderfully located with short walking distance to everything. Love love love this hotel.

Reviewed By TYPSUKRWe just needed a place for a single overnight stop on a road trip, and this hotel was sufficient. The room was clean and simple, and no issues with the bathroom. The lobby and entrance had some latent smell of cigarette smoke, likely because the first floor is the smoking floor. We didn't have any issues with in our room, which was on the second floor. The beds weren't the comfiest, and the in-room fridge was loud, but we both slept through the night.

A good deal for a very tired person!

They need to be replaced in all hotels. But the room was the perfect size for just me. Bathroom cleaned (I checked) and the bed was comfy and the pillows too. Had a nice place to empty all my stuff. I didnt watch tv long , but good channels , coffee maker and a desk. Basic but nice and clean, smelled fine.

Reviewed By TOMMYB707Very nice little hotel was very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Service was excellent too! The bed was very comfortable and I felt very rested the next morning. Nice quick breakfast was delicious and filling! Conveniently located just off I81 in Bristol. Will definitely visit again!

Was not a good deal
Reviewed By stefaniesZ8273RKI accidentally booked this room from my car on my phone and they would not refund me my cancellation fee. I called Priceline who I originally booked from and they were happy to call and explain to them it was within minutes that she did this. Priceline was so kind to me. I called the property and they said they would. Then when I got home, Priceline emails me that the property manager/owner who by the way is NOT AMERICAN would not reimburse me. They just cared about the price GOUGING while the NASCAR was in town. So he made away with $238.00!!!! When normally he charges $69!!!! IIDIOT

Wonderful place to stay
Reviewed By 203calebrI stayed in the Budget Inn Express for two nights during the Rhythm and Roots festival in Bristol. My room was in pristine condition, there was parking right out front, and the staff was very responsive. You can't beat that level of care for this price. I highly recommend the Budget Inn!
