Great location near the harbour in west bay. Small hotel with most rooms on first floor. Only used restaurant for breakfast which was well presented and classic English breakfast with all trimmings. Plenty of parking at front and rear of hotel. Spa bath and tv in bath was a novelty and enjoyable. Nothing not to like Lost a star as mattress in room 9 was soft and needs replacing....you roll together whether planned or not!

Very grand hotel in the centre of Bridport. I didn't stay there, just called in for dinner. Very imposing restaurant and excellent waiter service but this was let down by poor work in the kitchen. Fish and Chips was ordered without peas, but peas arrived, fish was a strange shape and only partially skinned. The Shepherd's Pie at £17.50 (sic) was served without its red wine sauce and it took two trips for this to be provided for the adjacent table. The maitre d' was full of apologies but badly let down by failures in the engine room.

Grade II listed charming Georgian 8 bedroom guest house with onsite bar and restaurant and beautiful garden to dine and wine outside. It has free parking. It is 2 minutes walk from the Harbour and the Beach. Broadchurch was filmed nearby. Coast versus country was filmed in the restaurant. We are free house and this means tasting local beers unavailable anywhere else in the area.
I only stayed one night but could happily have stayed longer. The guesthouse has a 'shabby-chic' look about it; everyone was very friendly and welcoming; my bed room was clean and appeared freshly decorated with tea & coffee making facilities and a TV; the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious - good quality ingredients and a good start to my day exploring the Jurassic Coast.

Award-winning grade two listed free house serving the finest guest ales as well as our own brew from our onsite micro brewery. popular cocktail bar open on Friday and Saturday evenings. we have seven en-suite luxury letting rooms. Town centre location.
We stayed at The Tiger Inn for 5 nights, for a family wedding nearby and little added mini-break. Service was excellent from everyone we encountered - friendly and helpful yet professional. Our room, although a little dated in places, was a good size and was kept very clean with a daily housekeeping service for the duration of our stay. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and was just right for what we wanted. We had a minor panic on our first night (a Friday) when there was some loud music going on when we arrived back after dinner...but it stopped bang on 11pm and the rest of our stay was peaceful, our mornings only disturbed by a loud pigeon cooing nearby!!! Breakfast was good, although a few more veggie options would have been welcome. Scrambled eggs in particular were delicious! All in all, perfect for what we were after from a relaxed and friendly pub stay, very impressed. Bridport is a lovely town. We'd recommend the Olive Tree restaurant at the end of the road. Excellent food and service.

No 27 is a peaceful and elegant B & B of historic interest right in the centre of Bridport, a lively market town close to the Jurassic coast with plenty of good restaurants and cultural activities.
This is a beautiful Georgian style terreaced house tucked away off the main street in Bridport and with a secluded private garden at the back. You are but a step away from good quality eating places and from the south coast path. The location could not be better. We received a warm welcome form Cath and she was thoughtful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was large- taking up the whole of the top floor. It was light airy and tastefully decorated. Good sized bathroom with a shower as well as a larger than usual bath. The breakfast was good with homemade yoghurt. Wifi was a flakey when we were there, but fixable with a booster to connect the top of the house. Street parking very safe but we were lucky with finding a spot next to the house. Ask before you go. We would highly recommend.

Rose Cottage is a renovated character cottage that was one of the original cottages of the village of Chideock, which has been designated a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty. We offer a top quality bed and breakfast facility that has been awarded a 4 star rating with the AA.
Sue and Mick were extremely friendly and welcoming. Considering they had had builders in the cottage was spotless ,cosy and inviting ! We enjoyed our cup of tea sat out on the patio . We were talked through the do’s and don’ts due to the COVID situation. We ate out at the George which was about a 3min walk away . We would also highly recommend. We slept soundly in the comfortable double bed. At breakfast we were greeted by Mick who took our drinks order and brought out toast there was also a selection of fresh fruit and cereals, also fruit juice . Sue made a wonderful cooked breakfast with fresh locally sourced ingredients. It was lovely to chat to them both and we found out we had a few things in common . We came away feeling we had known them both for years rather than one day . We will definitely go back and look forward to seeing the finished patio area and the slate floor by the the new side entrance . Julie and Derek
