Fondly described as “the city nestled between the mountains and
reality,” Boulder delivers an urban twist on the outdoor fun you’d
expect from a town surrounded by wilderness. In a single day, you
can hike miles and miles of trails or bike alongside Boulder Creek
– then head back into town for some well-deserved shopping on
Pearl Street. And with many of Colorado’s top restaurants right
within reach, be sure to treat yourself to at least one great meal.

I loved this hotel. The location was lovely. Drivable to near by attractions, walkable to some shopping/dining (strip mall kind of stuff). The staff were wonderful. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. It had a full bath attached to the bedroom with a shower on one side and a tub/shower on the other. Outisde the bedroom was a sitting area with a couch and chair, small fridge and coffee maker. It had another half bath near the door. Spacious and clean.

We come to Boulder annually since my son decided to live there awhile after graduation. This hotel is perfect - great rooms, updated everything, good situation for breakfast, snacks, bar area, all convenient and food was delish. Staff all pleasant, hard working and efficient... shout out to Collin who helped us out with a late check out! Can't ask for more! Pool was under a brief maintenance while we were there, but had many other things to do in our quick stay.

This is my husband's and my third time staying in Hotel Boulderado. Each time leaves us wanting more...more of their fine hospitality, their excellent foods and tasty, interesting cocktails. The room furnishings are lovely. Our favorite rooms have been in the historic section. The rooms are large. Air conditioning and heat is always "just right." The bed linens and pillows are plush. The hotel has everything we value when we vacation in Boulder - a good restaurant, numerous bars, music, and an expansive and comfortable lobby to meet up with friends and family. A very short walk takes you to Pearl Street which is one of Boulder's biggest attractions.

We had a wonderful experience at St. Julien Hotel. The Hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay Special and Pleasant. Kindness toward my family was shown by so many I wanted to thank them. Caroline at Jill’s restaurant, Hostess at Jill’s, I didn’t get her name, Jessica at the Front Desk, Kat Hotel concierge, Kitchen Staff, Nick-Valet, Paul/Engineer, Philippe, Jill’s restaurant Manager & Susan the Spa Manager. We had breakfast at Jill’s, the food was amazing. Florentine eggs benedict, to die for!! Our rooms were clean and comfortable with great views!!! The location is perfect! Hotel and the surrounding area is beautiful. We walked to restaurants, unique shops, witnessed the Boulder Boulder and a festival was going on. Thank you St. Julien Staff!! Can’t wait to come back. The hotel is situated in the heart of Boulder Junction in an area known as Depot Square. The hotel is located in central Boulder less than a mile from the University of Colorado Boulder Campus. Boulder Junction is creating an area where people can live work and shop. Along with retail and housing, Boulder Junction will become a new transportation hub with rail and bus access the surrounding area.
Rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos. Cold wet carpet surrounding the air conditioning unit. The breakfast was *mostly* fine but the eggs were just insanely cheap "just add water" to a box of powder quality. Holiday Inn Express does a better job. Staff (when they were actually at the front desk) was friendly and helpful. $20/day parking is a bit absurd, it should just be included with the room rate. There are no stairs inside the hotel so if you are on floor 2 like I was you have to take the elevator which is annoying for me and other guests on higher floors.

This is a very nice quiet place to stay away from the tourist area. Staff were very friendly. It is close enough to town to be convenient. It was a little pricey for the location. Breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings seemed new
