Well it's simply paradise. Staying at HVB was the best decision I've taken so far. It's a relaxing space which the owners have created, with their heart and soul in it, around the zen concept. Perched high, overlooking the liguarian sea, belvedere translates to a beautiful place, which it truly is. The entire place is peaceful. The breakfast is generous and really good. Had the privilege to have food cooked by Vincenzo, which was delicious. It felt like being in home surrounded by family and friends. When you arrive you are welcomed by the chirping birds and the heady smell of jasmine. It's in close proximity to the cinque terre but without the touristy hassle of the 5 terre. The hosts are gracious and take really good care. I couldn't have found a more perfect place in the area. It far exceeded my expectations. I am already planning my next visit to this beautiful place. Thank you Vincenzo, Barbara and Fabio for making my stay so wonderful.

Welcome to Cà du Ferrà Farm & Relax! The farm is located in Bonassola, a small village in the province of La Spezia, in the Riviera di Levante, near the Cinque Terre National Park. The story begins early in the year 2000, when Antonio and Aida, clothing dealer her, building contractor him, to escape from the routine that led decide to change their lives and devote themselves to rural tourism, agriculture and the environment, love that had always kept in the drawer and never want to put away. Over the years they have purchased land and several outbuildings that slowly begin to adjust and restructure, and this is so that by the hands of Antonio and the creative immagination of Aida are born "The Casottino" and "The Mill", recovered with tenacity and passion of two structures used for housing animals. With the old buildings are also retrieved all the vacant lots, parcels cleaned and planted with vines, which is now undergoing conversion from conventional to certified organic agricolture. In all these years we have hosted and met people from all over the world, many of which have become true friends. Staying at Cà du Ferrà Farm & Relax means get in touch with nature, enjoy the relaxing experience 365 days a year and a sincere and genuine hospitality as you have never tried. We are waiting for you with open arms!
Relaxed and lovely stay. The hostess is accomodating and gentle. The recommended wine tasting was excellent. Short distance from the trains. Have breakfast in town though :) You can borrow bikes for free to get to Levanto, the best sand beach of the area. Tip is go all the way to the left beyond the house for a small even better beach.

We had been at a Francesca with our dog some 15 years ago and we had loved it. Back this summer for 2 weeks with our young dog we have found the charming little houses in a very poor state.(Luck of maintenance). Few aspects could be easily improved to create a perfect atmosphere. Swimming pool close from 13h to 15 h. Like a post office !? Dogs are Paying Guests (8 euros per day). But nothing is thought for them. .Travelling Pets are increasing. It is Extraordinary nowadays not to have thought a small place, within the village,to give access to the sea to dogs that like to swim. At La Francesca Dogs are not welcome in: playground, bar, swimming pool, by the sea, solarium, restaurant. A ? space for dogs was in a disgraceful state.(see pictures). Public Dog beach near Levanto was closed because of likage/ loss of sewerage?. The path to reach it is quite steep. ⚠️ A small effort will make La Francesca even more unique.♥️

The hotel is in front of the sea,all the rooms are redecoreted, some with sea wiew and some with balcony, air conditioning ,particulary attention to the restaurant, lift, nightporter.
We had a lovely 5-night stay in Hotel delle Rose in Bonassola. You can‘t get any closer to the beach! We had 3 rooms, 1 room (Nr 30) was with sea view. Entire hotel is very well kept and clean. Very friendly staff. Great roof terrace on the 4th floor where breakfast and aperitivo is served. Bonassola is great for beach and snorkeling, but also a great base to visit Cinque Terre and other nearby beaches in Framura and Levanto that can be reached by walking, cycling or by train.

I originally planned to stay more than one night, but after reading some reviews on Tripadvisor mentioning the -1 level location (thanks!) I decided to limit my stay to one night. Well this was fortunate, as this place is under the street level and near the sea, so humidity is the main impression you feel while entering (the depressing ER-like glass door) and it can only increase during the night. I know by experience that in Liguria -1 levels are quite common, but if they are located on the hills it can work as there's more air and the sea is far. Here is like sleeping on the beach, without the view and the sense of nature. It's true it's clean, with brand new (basic, a bit un-charming) furniture and that the owner is really friendly and helpful, but for me healthiness is a must, sorry. On top of that the so called breakfast at the beach is 1 sad hot drink plus 1 industrial juice plus 1 industrial croissant. We paid 110€ for this package and I'm getting confused about the notion of 'value for money' here, even in Liguria in July.

I stayed here in September as part of a group walking holiday. I Really liked the atmosphere in the place. My room was basic but everything worked and it was clean and comfortable. Very low key in terms of customer service but always someone around when needed. Quite basic at breakfast time. No lifts and plenty of stairs. Close to the railway station so quite a lot of noise from that, but this is kind of inescapable in Bonassola and anywhere in Cinque Terre. Walking distance to railway station, restaurants, bars and beach. Would recommend this place

I've stayed at this hotel twice, in August 2017 and in August 2016, with my now 7-year-old daughter. I've tried other hotels in Bonassola, as I like to go to the wonderful "Mare mosso" children's theater festival here, which is held every year at the beginning of August, and I think here you get the "best bang for your buck", as Americans say. In high season I've payed 105€ per day for a big twin bed room (see photos) + 8€ per person for the breakfast. If you search around, the prices in Bonassola don't get lower than that for a similar service. The rooms and bathrooms are big, clean and bright with very good air conditioning. The beds are comfortable. In August you might be a bit disturbed by the loud music playing in a nearby winery ("enoteca Enoballe"), which usually goes on until midnight or 1AM, but I personally slept very well, I even found the music soothing. If you get a room with the balcony - which I strongly suggest - you can see the sea just 100 meters (330 feet) away. In 1 minute you can get to the beach, in 2 minutes to the train station, from where in 12 minutes you can get to Monterosso (the closest one of the Cinque Terre), and in 27 minutes to Riomaggiore (the farthest one). If you need a hairdryer just ask for it, they will provide a good powerful one for free. Unfortunately breakfast is not included but I'd suggest to pay for it (8€, 4€ for children younger than 6) as it is very rich and tasty, compared to what you'd get for the same price in a bar outside. Very good fresh focaccia, fresh fruits, good freshly made espresso or cappuccino on request, cereals, yogurt, milk and charcuterie. You won't get eggs, bacon or sausages, but remember that we're in Italy and not in the UK or in the US. The waiter is very caring and kind. There is a nice rooftop terrace where you can lounge looking at the sea and a nice garden on the ground floor. I haven't tried the restaurant as it had mixed reviews. All in all I would strongly suggest this hotel, you won't find anything better at this price.

Great location steps away from the beach, but the owner was not very friendly at all. She doesn't speak English (fair enough we're in Italy, but in a tourist destination) and every request (such as a blanket or whether it would be possible to make it twin beds) seemed a nuisance for her. We had a room out to the street that was very noisy. The room was very small. Expensive for what it is. Breakfast was ok, at least for Italian standards (more than just sweet bread with jam). Fresh fruit would be a nice addition.
