Set on a pass between the northern and southern sections of the Teutoburg Forest, Bielefeld is home to about 325,000 people. Sparrenberg Castle, one of the main attractions, dates from the 13th century, as do the Altstädter Nicolaikirche (St. Nicholas' Church) and the Neustädter Marienkirche (St. Mary's Church). The city also figures prominently in the Bielefeld Conspiracy, a German internet joke that the town does not actually exist, but is rather an elaborate alien or government conspiracy.

The superior hotel in the city center on Neumarkt offers 120 stylish design rooms including free WiFi, free minibar (soft drinks) a cozy queen or king size bed and an open bathroom with rainfall shower, a modern lounge bar, a fitness room, a smokers lounge with a library and five multi-functional meeting rooms for conferences, seminars, meetings and workshops.
I really enjoyed our stay at the legere Hotel. Staff was really nice. The room was modern and clean. The free products were from Rituals so they smelled really good and were not the typical hotel brands. Drinks in the fridge (non alcoholic) were free of charge. You could easily walk to the city center. Breakfast had a great selection and they were looking out for hygiene in Covid times.

The Brenner hotel is a family business in the east of Bielefeld city. Rustic oak wood and nice ceramic like colors between orange and rust produce a warm and comfortable ambience. We have comfortable single, double, twin, triple and four bed rooms available. All have comfortable interior and include: - Shower/toilet - Sattelite-TV - 1 Sky- movie channel - 1 Sky- sports channel - Telephone - High-speed Internet, cable or wireless - Windows with noise and sun protection. For a nice evening, we can present 6 bowling alleys and a comfortable beer cellar (including Sky sports channel). The hotel is in the east of Bielefeld between the Highway A2 and the city center. The next station for the tram number 3 is 150 meter from the hotel and has a direct connection to the city center and the train station. By foot, you are able to reach the city center, the Teutoburger forest and the hiking trails in 45 minutes. Around the Hotel are free parking lots on wide area. It's also possible to park a bus, a caravan or a small truck.
Stayed here for the fourth time with my wife whilst viiting family in the city. Check-in was quick and efficient, no mention was made of any restrictions on use of the bar however on our first night on entering the bar we were told we were not allowed in and must go to the basement bar if we wanted a drink, when we complained we were told yes correct we must use the basement bar as Christmas function was being held in main restaurant and bar, Breakfast can be hit or miss when it comes to hot choices, as staff are slow to replenish items. E-Tablet in room offers some information but not everything appeared to be availble in English, for hotel of this star rating disapponiting that only channels available on TV are in German, most Rurpoean hotels offers BBC workd news as minimum. Hotel is only few undred metres from tram stop to city centre and with free parking is good choice for visiting city, Room cleaning time is random, first day was cleaned in morning next day did not happen until late afternoon which was only just in trime for us to use the room to change Hotel has rooms on 4 floors but lift only services 3 floors

This hotel is centrally located close to the big loom shopping centre. Rooms are a decent size with tv. There are NO tea/coffee facilities in the room. There is an extremely narrow garage for 8€ per night. Room was clean if a little dated. Staff were lovely!

We really enjoyed this hotel. It's on the road, but there are walking trails leading right to the hotel. The hotel is good. Free parking. Free wifi. The room was huge and modern. We had a nice view of the forest. The breakfast was good. It is surprisingly close to the center of Bielefeld, so you can visit this city by car while staying at this hotel. Highly recommended. We would stay here again.

Middle of the city near the old town. Small apartments. Very well decorated, comfortable beds, small kitchen & lounge type area. Very nice bathroom. No net curtains on large windows so nearby people in tall buildings across the road could see into the room! Not expensive & well situated. Excellent central location ideal for going to visit the old town for restaurants and shops etc. Parking was a bit of a pain, but we managed to find an underground car park which costs 8 Euros per night. Room was comfortable and clean too.

As the title says. This hotel is about 15 min walk from the team to the city centre.. Restaurants in the vicinity are fast food with no bars that we could find. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but extra.

Quite far away from the city center. Rooms are quite bad, too simple. Small bed in single room (I didn't even know that there can be narrow bed in a hotel anymore). Also full floor carpet, which made me feel sick in the room. Toilet seat was almost hit the shower cubicle. Barely no voice isolation at all. You heard clearly when some other opened their door to the aisle, and even walked on it. Also all the traffic noise from outside was hearable clearly. Otherwise, rooms were cleaned well. Daily. View from the window was directly to the gas station next door. Breakfast was great. But stuff in the kitchen couldn't speak English.

Ok, the price is quite low so we did not really know what to expect when coming to this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we got, even though the restaurant was filling up fast. The rooms are nice with a brand new bathroom. When my colleague and I asked to get a quiet place to sit and work together and have a beer, we later heard the beer was on the house. They also brought us potato chips :-) The food in the restaurant was great quality and the staff very friendly.
