Amazing, thoughful concept. Best place to properly enjoy a few days off, away from big cities and from 21th century. All type of rooms (I should rather say different places to spend the night) seem to be authentically furnished yet provide today's comfort without compromise. Lot of attention was given to even small details: modern FM receiver in old box for instance. Food was excellent at every occasion, from breakfast to dinner. Hats off to the staff who added a very significant and important part to the 'Tsar-athmosphere' by not being cold and distant but not too fraternising either, simply being super attentive and courteous, exactly as it has to be. All in all it was a great experince, a perfect synergy of location, on-site infrastructure and staff. Highly recommended.

Room cramped with little space for luggage. Our room had bare wires hanging out of light socket. Stayed 3 days and we were emptying micro room bin ourselves ........ all of this compounded by a hotel manager who positively disliked his guests. Has to be persuaded to open the bar (i.e. a fridge with bottles) at 20:00 in the evening! Steadfastly refused to put on outside lights so you sat in the dark with your fellow travellers.Even applied same rule to part of dining area (I went and turned then on). He made The Grinch look like Mr. Hospitality. Poor stay avoid. PS: Special mention for the poor lady who worked for him and appeared to do everything (she was charm and helpfulness personified despite her boss).

On the weekends it can get a bit loud with many children and families, but that was the only downside! Very nice location and the owners are very helpful with suggestions on restaurants and where to see bison. One morning there was a bison right behind the guest house garden, so do keep a look out! Breakfast was good and the woman who takes care of the breakfast area was very good at keeping hot tea/coffee always available even when it was very busy. Parking is secure inside the property fence. English is spoken and their food suggestions were spot on!

Quiet and clean house close to the downtown with big garden. Most of houses in Bialowieza have little yards and stand very close to the street. Wisniowy Sad is not close to street, nor has a small yard. Small garden with pond in the backyard makes it perfect for family rest after seeing all local attractions. You can also find there some tables if you want to have a grill.
