Stayed here wilder in Bauchi for a few days after vacating a poor hotel in the same city. Jamil Guest Palace was fine, good check in, good reception, nice comfortable room. Nothing to fault it. It's in a relatively quiet street, but there are little shops and stalls nearby where you can buy the usual requirements.

Booked the executive suite on my trip to Bauchi and stayed for 3 days. The restaurant make really good food. The lady at the reception was very polite and when i called in later the evening i arrived for a cleaning service because i had some friends over and they spilled some of the food we had ordered, they were quick to send in the cleaning crew. For the prices, i think they are doing well. And I've been to other hotels in Bauchi and i enjoyed Hazibal the most especially because of the dishes.

Fariah Suites is well designed to suit any purpose, well located with adequate security and courteous staff. I also loved the fact that one could use the back exit for those who prefer privacy. The management needs to sit up on the issues of routine maintainance and general keeping of cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, linen, and also ensure guests get served with towels, stationery, praying mats for muslims, etc to ensure guests return.

Poor maintenance, poor service, the receptionist is probably the only staff around to attend to you and every other guests. Sometimes you have to wait for someone to attend to you and not find any. I didn't ask for food because I feel it's not worth it.

It's a nice place to stay.. Nice hospitality and friendly receptionist! The place is abit hidden which is nice for privacy and it is quiet and also it has all the amenities that you need! The only problem is locating the place and the menu in the restaurant Is a bit limited.

This place is a hole. You can tell it must have been the fanciest place in town about 40 years ago. In saying that, it is probably amongst the cheapest rooms in town. There is hot water, and some kind of AC, bed linen looked clean. When we were here the lifts kept cutting out which was slightly frightening (so we took the stairs), no wifi, restaurant staff are friendly but the waits are terrible (45 minutes for toast, no joke). Wouldn't stay here again unless I needed something very cheap.

It's meant to be a quiet hide out but the management is just terrible. There was no light throughout the day because there was no supply from the main grid. They run generator only at night. No Airconditiners because they've disconnected the power supply. It comes on around 11pm and goes off at 3am. Bathroom heater also not working unless they decide it should. Though never had it work. Definitely not a place to be
