La Bougainvillea is a luxurious 5 star boutique hotel on 30 acres of the most beautiful beach in the world. Sit by our infinity edge pool while overlooking the crystal blue waters of the Bahamas. We are a unique place located on a rarely found secluded beach.
My favorite part of the stay was the food. This is unusual because the Bahamas is not known for food. Devin, the chef at La Bouganvillea, is a humble soft spoken man who cooks up wonders in his seaside kitchen. The lobster tacos were amazing. Oh, and don't miss trying the best burger in the Bahamas. The environment Tom created is an eclectic mix of Bahamian and Asian designs. This tasteful combination made me feel relaxed and embraced. I enjoyed immensely sitting out back listening to the ocean, feeling the gentle breeze all while being taken care of by a great staff.

Immerse in the idyllic retreat of the Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas - All-Inclusive Resort, an ideal getaway where we live up to our island namesake. An adult-only, 16+ all-inclusive resort, stress will slip away upon checking in, leaving you to do nothing else but enjoy.
Enjoyed our 10 night stay here which was excellent value compared with other nearby options. Firstly and most notably the staff really are fantastic throughout the hotel - reception, restaurants, bars, pool, housekeeping etc all so friendly and efficient (despite what some other reviews seem to indicate we didn’t encounter any ‘Caribbean’ speed). Room was good, but strongly recommend having a harbour view, high floor and a balcony - we sat out a lot having morning coffee etc, and got sight of a lower floor room without a balcony when we used a courtesy room before leaving - definitely worth the extra cost. There is some noise travel between room but I think we were lucky in having an empty room next to us for most of our stay. Food at all the restaurants was pretty good - I liked Edgewater in particular, the steaks were very good and Tings on a Stick was much better than expected too. The buffet is what it is, but the choice and service (drinks) was good at all meals and particular praise for the egg station in the morning….always a happy, smiling face there. Pool area is spacious and well kept, never unable to find a bed and the pool guys are brilliant at moving things, setting up umbrellas etc for you. The snack bar at the pool does a good range of stuff too. Drinks were great, including the house wines which were decent. Mini bar in the room was restocked daily. Seemed to be plenty of entertainment going on when it wasn’t raining but we weren’t particularly interested in it ourselves. The gym is ok, doesn’t seem to get used much but plenty of space and machines. Did a fair bit of fishing from the jetty - absolutely tons of fish to catch with loads of variety, plus some very large fish spotted if you wanted to go for them (stingrays and eagle rays in particular). Hotel is a 10 min easy walk from Atlantis Marina/Casino and there are a few shops nearby. The centre of Nassau is a 40 minute or so stroll away, and the hotel is a 5 min walk from the ferry across if you’d prefer that. Several excursions depart from very near the hotel (Blue Lagoon, Sqndy Toes and others). Very happy to have stayed here, thanks to all at the Warwick for a great holiday.

Untouched... Undiscovered... Barefoot elegance in a Caribbean paradise. Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort is unlike any place you have ever experienced. With twenty bungalows and a twenty villas steps from the most beautiful beach in the Bahamas, an escape to Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort is an experience you will never forget.
This resort is just a paradise and a dream come true. We are so thrilled to discover this remote island with this beautiful beach. I love how accessible the beach were from our rooms. The food on the resort was just absolutely amazing. I'm so happy we came here on our honeymoon and I wouldn't change a thing. I only wished I didn't have to go back to work just to stay in this paradise island a little longer.

(June 1-5) Where to start…. We came to this resort bc it was close to florida, and kind of a last minute booking for our 10 year anniversary. When we arrived there was a mess up with our reservation. Said I only booked for 1 instead of 2. Even tho the default setting on the website is 2 adults. So they charged us an additional $500 for my wife. Even tho we booked the early booking rate. Which should have been only an additional $300, at the current early booking rate at that time. But bc we were at the hotel. And paying at the desk, we had to pay the standard rate…since we’re already there, what am I gonna do? except pay it. The room they put us in was right next to a generator or pool pump, with a constant humming and we can hear it thru the wall. We also couldn’t even stand on the patio, it was too loud. We had our room changed the next day. Also when we arrived we found out that there was a high school student trip at the resort of about 200 18 year olds. Drinking age is 18. You can imagine how this played out. The hotel didn’t give any heads up about this event, if they told us we would have rebooked for different dates. Since the students were there and had there own activities schedule, many of the resort activities were cancelled. The pool area was completely taken over by the kids. On the only nice day we had there. The rest of our days was bc of a tropical storm that rolled thru. You could also hear kids yelling, puking and fighting in all hours of the night. The night of our anniversary we were awoken at 2am to a fight outside our door, and security attempting to stop it. It was also quite nice to walk around the resort and see kids puking in random bushes. The kids left on our 2nd full day there right before the storm came in. That’s also when our tv in the room stopped working. Which is nice when your stuck in the room with a storm outside. We called several times over the course of 2 days but couldn’t get anyone to fix it or replace it. We brought our wedding album with us and some games in case we were stuck inside. But still, unacceptable to not have someone fix something in your room or change rooms again! Now the best for last. During the storm water was flooding our room thru the sliding glass door, and we were on the second floor. The water didn’t reach that high. It was the heavy rain coming thru the doors tracks and other areas. We had to use several towels to soak it up, ring them out and soak up some more. This was not my idea of a relaxing vacation. I understand weather happens, but I shouldn’t have to bail the water out of a room at a resort I booked. We called the front desk, they sent more towels, but they had limited towels. And we asked if there was another room available they said they would call back, never did. Didn’t matter anyway bc apparently all the rooms leak from the sliders during a heavy rain storm. Came to this conclusion after talking to other guests and looking in rooms that had doors open for cleaning. You would think they would offer some type of refund for this huge inconvenience but instead they would rather I write this awful review. The only good thing was the entertainment staff and the food staff was nice. But it appeared management is just not accommodating or helpful. The one show we saw was good! We did enjoy paddle boarding on our first day, and archery was fun. They also had bingo and trivia on our last night bc the show was cancelled for the leaking/flooded stage area. Also when we arrived the guy at the front desk said we could eat at the specialty restaurants each night. But the next day when we went to book we could only eat at one for our 4 nights there. That was not specified anywhere in our reservation, or it’s in very fine print somewhere. Either way we had to eat at the buffet most of the time. Which is ok. I’ve had better at other all inclusive resorts. The one specialty restaurant was really good tho! In conclusion, this place was a constant kick in the nuts. Not accommodating or understanding at all.

I was there a few weeks ago. My visit was great. Luther the waiter gave great service. There was a host whom name I forgot was great also. He was a great help with our bags up front. Wish it was all inclusive. That's why I gave it a 4 out of 5. C'mon Margaritaville!!! Make it happen.

We really loved Breezes. The resort is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Special shout-out to Fontasia! She was very nice and kept us supplied with lots of drinks (and snacks) at the cabana. Rooms were clean, staff and location was great but amenities were average and in some cases unsatisfactory. We booked 2 rooms and Wifi did not work in one of the rooms even after attempting on 4 separate devices. The pool was okay but could have used some cleaning. Be careful on the painted wooden deck and walkways, they can be slippery when wet. So wear appropriate non skid footwear. Overall, great value for the price but small improvements are needed.

We traveled here in mid-May with my two children (girls, age 5 and 6) and had an amazing experience. Our villa (1314) was ocean front and beautiful - beds comfy, full kitchen, everything you'd want. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and Emerson of the Minnow Hut went above and beyond to play with our girls in the pool. The front desk was always responsive with recommendations, car rentals, everything you'd expect. The dragonfruit mojito is worth an order at the bar. We dined at both restaurants and snacked at the jerk shack. Everything was great - we also liked Coco Plum Bistro right down the road. If you have time, visit Coco Plum beach at low tide - ridiculously beautiful. What an amazing trip! All the beach toys you can imagine -we swam with dolphins at the beach Sunday morning. Water was gorgeous ... island is very low key, slow pace and relaxing.
