Lovely hotel in a great location. Secure parking. Comfortable and good sized room with shutters to jerk room dark and cooler. Comfy beds, had a great nights sleep. Hotel does offer breakfast but we had an early start so didn’t use this service. Restaurant and hotel were all spotless. Great welcome and check in. Thank you for a great service and overnight stay.

The ALTI Luchon is a three star (***) Hotel situated in Bagneres de Luchon, the oldest resort in the Pyrenees. A hotel of 47 rooms that offers with first class facilities, designed and created for guests who want quality and prestige. It has a unique location, because it is in the commercial area of Luchon a few meters from the ski slopes, thermal resort and the main attractions of the area. It is ideal to spend a few days relaxing in the great outdoors or enjoy the wide variety of outdoors activities offered by the area. In this hotel, you’ll find everything you need to have an unforgettable vacation.
I stayed here 14th August. They took full payment from my card instead of just the tourist tax even though I had paid in advance. After a month they have still not returned the payment that they admit to having taken in error. The power sockets are at the back of the bedside cabinets and are difficult to reach. There are no coffee makings in the room which I found surprising. The WiFi password system is not the best, I had to go back to reception for a refreshed password before being able to get access. This also happened when I stayed in the hotel last year. Once I was able to get access the WiFi signal was weak. The TV remote did not appear to work. Besides the above short comings the hotel is centrally located and quiet and a good starting point for exploring the local area.

Facing the Thermal Baths, the Welfare Center, 100m away from the Parc des Quinconces, the Castel de la Pique offers 10 rooms fitted with all comfort you can expect in a XIXth century mansion, in the middle of a park planted with big old trees.
I booked this hotel while on a moto tour of the Pyrenees, it ticked all the boxes. It had character, was in a very quiet area but an easy walk to centre ville restaurants, comfortable and clean. What made it especially enjoyable was Alain the manager (and owner I think). He was very friendly and helpful, even offering his private garage to store our two motos overnight. He gave us an interesting insight into the history of this fine old town. Alain also looked after us very well for breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay again, very good value, just don't expect a luxury hotel and you will like it too. Made a great change from the usual Ibis style chains.

No sooner do you arrive than you experience the warmth of the hospitality and the quality of the service, fruits of tradition going back five generations. Then there’s the charm of a vintage 19th-c. mansion, ideally located just opposite Luchon Thermal Baths, with its lounges, garden and flower-adorned terrace, its spacious, comfortable, peaceful rooms and suites. The savoury, aromatic, terroir-inspired cuisine offers you the refinement of tradition matched with a splash of invention that will tempt you to taste it all... and woo you to the desserts. To enhance your stay , the Hotel d' Etigny offers you a nice park with an outdoor heated swimming pool.
In order of experience; I booked direct with the hotel, and the manager was helpful, but certainly did not go out of his way to simplify the process. Being an Australian, I am hampered in not having second language skills. The manager chose to only deal in French, and given he is French, and the hotel is in France, this is quite reasonable, however, the French used was un-necessarily complex. Reception was great, and the lady who checked our group of 22 in was super helpful. The hotel is well located, the pool is clean, nice, and there are comfortable areas inthe garden to sit and chill. The rooms are comfortable, however, it was a hot stay. The hotel offers fans, however I cannot vouch for this, as though I requested one, I was told they were already all being utilised. As I did this on both nights, and our group accounted for 12 rooms in the hotel, and none were forthcoming, an investment in more fans by hotel management would be a really good idea. The breakfasts were good (continental style), with plenty of food, and more than adequate. We ate dinner here on both nights. The dining is un-necessarily formal, the food good, but the atmosphere is somewhat starched and stifling. The hotel pushes hard the sale of water, and resists the provision of carafes of tap water. I somewhat resented this approach, and it annoyed me, as a group of cyclists tend to drink a lot of water to re-hydrate, and paying E6 for bottles of still water is un-necessary. On balance, I would stay here again, but I would look hard at other options, and I would certainly choose to eat dinner at other restaurants.

In the heart of the Pyrenees, in the center of Luchon, in a quiet street, 30 meters from the restaurants and shops of the main street, 250 meters from the cable cars that go up to the ski resort of Superbagnères, 500 meters from the thermal baths of Luchon and Vaporarium, our establishment proposes 5 charming guest rooms, nicely decorated (labellisées 3 épis Gîtes de France), an outdoor terrace, a lounge with large screen TV and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
We had a clean and comfortable room and a delicious breakfast. My husband is gluten free so Christopher cooked us omelettes for breakfast. Le Patio is within easy walking distance of restaurants for dinner.

The hotel is right opposite the Thermes so a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is very good. The rooms and communal hallways need a bit of TLC (stains on carpets, bit of damp on the ceilings, occasional wonky fittings and fixtures) but good value for money.

Near Spain – Near Thermal Station- Starting point for hiking Here, it is the real campsite, no activity, but a quiet, warm and family campsite, a small structure where it is good to stay, forget the stress of modern life and ending up with real values: family, nature, friends… The Chantecler campsite, under ownership by Clara and Regis Hoc, would be more than delighted to have you, your family, and friends over this season.
A lovely, quiet site with spacious pitches. There is not much going on, no pool, but there are recreation areas and a meeting tent. Plus: Quiet Big pitches Well kept Good owners Clean showers and toilets Negative: Poor hot water, mostly lukewarm but never cold Wifi is chargeable and only usable in front of the office. This feels like a rip off, either have it chargeable all over the site or give it free. All in all, a good, well run site in a perfect location.. Finally, and not a reflection on the site or owners, not ideal for dog owners. Walking isn't the best.

The small rustic lounge, bar & our tiny room could do with refreshing but the dining room has already been beautifully refurbished in an attractive modern alpine style. The menu outside showed a good selection but we were offered only 1 choice of a 3-course meal, however the food was good. The basic continental breakfast selection was also limited but perhaps September is their Off Peak season.
