West Lodge Hotel, near Aylesbury, was originally a 19th century Lodge House and part of the Rothschild Estate. Privately owned, West Lodge has been sympathetically restored with an eye for detail and comfort. An ideal location for small weddings, functions, private parties, business conferences or those guests attending local courses at ESRI, RAF Halton, Green Park, Aylesbury and Grendon Underwood Prison Training Centre.
I made a provisional booking at West Lodge Hotel for the night before my wedding after being let down by AirBnB. Mike really couldn't do enough to help me out and ensure that I had everything I would need for my stay and the additional people who would have to be there in the morning (hair / make up / photographer!) Unfortunately, circumstances meant I didn't end up staying, but I will certainly use them if I need to in future. Customer service and communication is to be commended!!

Put yourself right at the heart of Buckinghamshire at the Premier Inn Hotel Aylesbury. In this historic market town, you'll have all the county's business and leisure locations, as well as London and Oxford, close at hand. Discover the area's natural beauty at Wendover Woods. Set off on a flight of fantasy at the Waterside Theatre or Roald Dahl Museum. Or get into the sporting action at Stoke Mandeville Stadium - birthplace of the Paralympics. Then take a break in our spacious rooms and super-comfy, king- size Hypnos beds.
The staff where very helpful and friendly; most accomodating and informative. The rooms are always clean, tidy and good. The problem was the pub next door was not affiliated to the Premier Inn and did not open unti after 100.am. So we had to find an alterative for brteakfast.

Set in the village of Wendover near Aylesbury, Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion is a perfect hotel for a weekend break or a family holiday. Just 45 minutes from London and sporting one of the area's finest restaurants, we make our guests feel special by creating a sense of occasion, whether visiting for a meal, a drink or an overnight stay.
Four of us visited for a business lunch, and while the food was ok, it was very expensive for the portion sizes. One course and a drink was only just under £100. Then to add insult to this, we also received a £100 parking charge for using their car park. This is a sure way to deter customers from returning.

From the moment I drove into the car park I knew this was a very good hotel The lobby area was fantastic as was the toilets which were super clean. Just had breakfast to me that was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel perfect. The bedroom while a little tired it was perfect no noise whatsoever bed was super comfortable . The shower wow the water pressure was awesome . Two small gripes I have in that wish there was a separate shower and these days should have USB ports instead off trying To find a three point socket. To my great annoyance I forgot my swimming gear as they have a very nice health club.

This 19th century lodge brings together traditional, rustic charm, with plenty of 21st century comforts. With a wide variety of attractions and glorious landscape on the doorstep, this bed and breakfast hotel in Aylesbury is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a comfortable nights sleep, great food, fine wines and real ales, and the best value accommodation. Just outside Aylesbury and less than an hour’s train ride from central London, this historic property dates back to 1854, when local farmers would tether their horses to the fence whilst they popped in for a well-earned drink!
Have stayed at The Five Bells several times. Great location for accessing local area, all set within lovely village. Popular pub, but rooms in separate 'wing' so quiet. Lovely refurbishment, clean & tidy decor. Excellent bed! Shower room bit small, but modern & provides everything needed. Easy parking.

Stunning building with loads of history and beautiful grounds. Only met the gentleman of the house, what a lovely person and very proud of his beautiful house. Stayed in lady de l’isle. Two large rooms with comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. Lovely to meet the families St Bernard’s as well, they checked we were fine with dogs before we met them so no problem if you’re not comfortable with them. Only slight criticism is they need to be a little more contactable regarding check in, I was on a tight slot between a church wedding and the reception but all was ok, just

Cancelled stay just over two weeks before visit due to overbooking, was a couple of weeks after booking so assume they got a better offer. Pretty poor really to do this with little notice, we have two young kids and arranging a night away is not that easy. They offered to rebook but why would we do that with a place that had let us down already with hardly an apology?
