Wyndham Duchally Country Estate, while secluded, is perfect for short breaks and overnight stops in the Country House Hotel or a full Scottish holiday in luxury lodge accommodation that is conveniently located for easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands.
We stayed at Duchally for 4 nights with 10 family members (2 in the hotel). The place could not be better. The grounds beautifully kept and the accommodation amazing. Everything we could need was there. A small leisure was clean and lovely coffee and snacks available. I can recommend this one hundred percent.

A tremendous hotel! We had such a lovely 2 night stay in Room No. 5 (the signature block and orange room). The room was roomy with a super king size bed you just sink into. The bathroom was divine with a big angular bath ( I dashed out to the co-op to get some bubble bath to take full advantage!) All of the staff from the reception, breakfast, cleaners and bar staff were so friendly. We had a few drinks on the outdoor terrace on evening no 1 when it was sunny and on evening no 2 we went to the cosy bar which had lovely leather seats. The breakfast is great - very tasty orange juice and delicious salmon and scrambled eggs. Thank you so much to all at Cairn Lodge for such a lovely stay.

An iconic country estate set beneath the beautiful Ochil Hills, The Gleneagles Hotel has been a luxury destination for nearly a century. Located just one hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports and with its own railway station, Gleneagles offers the perfect retreat for those looking for relaxation, fun and adventure. Three championship courses have established Gleneagles' reputation as a golfer's paradise but the hotel offers so much more than golf. The 850-acre estate epitomises the rugged natural beauty for which Scotland is famed and offers guests a glorious playground of country pursuits and activities. Whether you come to fly a Harris' Hawk, ride horses, play tennis, go off-roading, train gundogs, shoot game, fish, enjoy Michelin-starred dining, or relax in an award-winning spa, Gleneagles offers a world of unforgettable experiences.
Me and my mum went to get some treatments for my 21st birthday! I went for the hot stone massage and Izzy was absolutely amazing from start to finish, she greeted me so nicely and made sure to chat to me first about everything that we could do. I explained that I had an underlying health condition and she was so knowledgeable about what was best for me! She made me feel 100% comfortable and was such a lovely spirit! I would recommend her to everyone. Well done gleneagles for having such amazing staff!

Spent a night here with a friend. We ate supper on arrival and breakfast next morning in the hotel pub and both were delicious, with welcoming and friendly conversation from hotel pub staff, and a couple of friendly locals. E.g. High-level bangers and mash, with splendid onion caramelised gravy, washed down with a craft beer. Grilled cooked breakfast, and light puffed up tattie scones. Despite giving very late notice on Friday night, we were served a home-cooked supper from menu on arrival which was delicious. Good base for exploring up to Loch Tay etc by car but handy for the lowland towns and cities. Great pub interior, though modernised, it takes us back in time to when the pub was a smithy. It was back in 2021, can't remember month.

Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at strathallen castle. Our whole stay was brilliant, food was good in the restaurant and they have live music on a Saturday night. Haggis balls were a delicious starter. First time having a full Scottish breakfast as we came over from Belfast and this was wonderful and plenty of it. Room was spotless , a credit to the housekeeping staff , shower was warm and powerful bed. We also where a bit rough round the edges the morning we left and the staff made us breakfast rolls to take back up to the room. Top class touch much appreciated. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend anyone to call in here for a night if visiting the area.

We loved our stay here. The house is decorated beautifully and it is absolutely spotless! Very friendly host and breakfast was great. A 5 minute walk on to the main street and to Glen Eagles golf course. Excellent value for money and highly recommend if you are looking for a stay in the area

We have had a fantastic 4 night stay in 2 bed apartment. Apartment is best we have stayed in very clean and beautifully presented, great beds, showers and very well equipped kitchen with amazing coffee machine. The star of the show was Mike, who from the moment we booked could not have been more helpful and informative. He answered every query very quickly and booked tee times and dining reservations when we could not get them. The sovereign membership is very reasonable and allows you to use Gleneagles facilities. Mike also booked lunch for us at nearby Cairn Lodge which was amazing and I will do separate review for it. Cant wait to be back in this 6* accommodation.

This is like Southfork Ranch in Dallas with the verandas and large glass breakfast table lol. Found the owners really friendly and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The breakfast was lovely too btw. Definitely going back. ?
