The Inn was so cute and our room was clean and spacious. I really enjoyed everything about the room. It was really nice to have that room for the short trip that my cousin and I did. The breakfast was amazing as well! Definitely recommend!

We killed several cockroaches in our two day stay, one was in the bed! I had to report the issue twice before the owner issued us a refund for one of the days. In addition to the cockroaches, our room smelled like cigarette smoke from people a few doors down. Disgusting all the way around.

Internet is almost non-functional. Breakfast is small continental. Hot tub is tepid and pool is freezing. Rooms are ok, but attention to detail is not there. Stay elsewhere for a few dollars more IF you really need to stay here. Sketchy area to stay in, but I guess nearly all of California is like that.

Historic Hotel
Photos of shower curtain correct; I noticed also that it was dirty which offended me. Made me wonder about general cleanliness of room. Requested room service several times during my three night stay and did not get. Needed kleenex, trash emptied, more coffee, more toilet paper and should not have to ask for; service request sign ignored. otherwise, service okay. Preferred night staff.

Not that far away from Eureka, no thrill, easy living but BE WARE of the homeless and druggies that roam the streets. My family and I stayed there for several nights and had no trouble although we were quite afraid of the surrounding area. Just use your best judgement and be safe.

My daughter and I stayed here on May 12 and 13, 2022, in order to attend my granddaughter's graduation from Cal Poly Humboldt. We were scheduled to stay on May 14, but left to stay at the Hampton Inn across the street instead. The room was the worst I have ever stayed in - the toilet didn't flush properly, no hot water on May 13, the towels were about absorbent as paper towels, the TV did not turn on, the one blanket on the bed was too thin to keep me warm (no other blankets available) and the floor was dirty. Avoid this place.

One night stay during California road trip. Expected much more from a Ramada and definitely not worth what we paid. Room was dated and overly perfumed. Mildew stains in shower grout. COVID used as an excuse for no gym facilities and very, very poor breakfast offering ( 2 frozen eggo waffles or 3 frozen pancakes ~ that’s the per person limit and only options available ). Definitely better options out there!

Just what you would expect. We had no choices because of graduation weekend. Manager was nice and gave us a better room when requested. No shampoo or blow dryer less you ask. Not sure but seemed like there may have been some full-time guests living there.

If you value sleep and rest don't stay here. Beds and mattress are super old and lumpy, when a room change was requested front desk said they are all that way. Maybe in a few days we can do something. Front desk staff were rude all four I dealt with. Staff at breakfast room and cleaning staff were very nice. It was so bad we left early, after hiking all day in the redwoods we wanted rest. I am a frequent Hampton customer and this was so below what I am used to, complete rip off.
