Staff are excellent in all categories. Food was good and with wide choice. Our room was on the second floor via a lift. It was quiet and a bit cramped with a standard double bed. Bedroom furniture rather dated. Car parking is free in nearby town car park.

We arranged to meet friends for lunch at The Old Brewhouse recently and were extremely impressed by the warm welcome and excellent service on a cold and wet day. The food was simple=y excellent and a superb range of whiskies and gins were offered. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone visiting Arbroath.

At Lunan Bay Stays we have a wide range of accommodation. We have our small boutique guesthouse. You can rent our self-catering apartments or bothies. We have bunkhouse rooms available where you can rent a bed, room or even the entire bunkhouse. And we also have the campsite available for touring caravans, campervans and tents.
We booked 2 nights in the campsite, wish we’d never bothered. The toilet block was disgusting. The showers were filthy, full of bugs (dead and alive) the one shower I had I kept my flip flops on as floor was so dirty. I refused to shower the next day. The toilet block/washing up room was just as bad. Dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere. The men’s toilet, with a paper thin partition that doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling, was right next to the sink to wash your dishes. Washing my dishes listening to someone else urinating is not a very pleasant experience, I’m sure if the partition wasn’t there I could have shook the guys hand we were that close. Never mind a good clean, the building needs knocked down and rebuilt. I’ve payed less in other campsites and had facilities a million times better than that. Avoid at all costs!!

Sitting high in the Angus countryside with panoramic views of Lunan Bay to St Andrews. Close to Montrose, Berchin, Angus Glens and only 15 minutes from the A90. Kenelling available for dogs
We decided to meet friends from Brechin at Keskoweth for coffee and sample the home baking. Having been there several times we were met by a member of staff who recognised us and was pleased to see us again. She gave us the menus and after a few minutes came back to take our order. Three of us had the Fruit Loaf and the other had Carrot Cake. All as usual were delicious. We also had teas and coffees. The service was excellent and we didn't have long to wait. It's a good half way house between our houses and an excellent place to meet up and have a chat without being rushed . We'll be back very soon. As we were only there for coffee etc., we cannot comment on the hotel amenities!

This is a fantastic lodge, the location is a 5 min walk from the beach. Jules is a great host, advising us where to go and things to do. The breakfast is the best ever with so much choice and all fresh. Large comfortable bed. very clean and tidy. We will be back.

Luxury four star country house accommodation directly on Angus Tourist route.
Visiting relatives in Arbroath we were delighted to have found this beautiful guest house. The house is very tastefully decorated throughout and Peter made us feel right at home straightaway. We stayed in a lovely suite with it's own kitchen and bathroom containing everything you would need for your stay be it short or long. The full Scottish breakfast was cooked to perfection with toasted homemade bread and served by Peter himself who couldn't do enough for us. It was only an overnight stay this time but with the 700th Anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath next year we will be ensuring that we can book for a longer stay then.

Me and a mate booked a twin room, the place is okay for what you pay for, but, although the heating was on throughout the halls, showerrooms etc the radiator in our room did not work. I also had to go searching for towels as there were none in our room.
