Reviewed By Journey10349461025The check in was okay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were good and the bathroom was clean. The beds were very small. The wi-fi does not reach the rooms. There is a one minute walk restaurant just outside the hostel. Unfortunately it is very far from the center.

Reviewed By Damir SExcellent location close to the main Aquileia attractions. Some might say that it is a basic hotel but do you really need more if you plan is to visit Basilica. Everything there looks like you were taken back in time, maybe 70's but in a nice way.

Casa Delneri is a charming home all the six beautiful suites are elegantly furnished each one different from the other. Our home is adjacent to the Sepolcreto romano. Breakfast, nice garden and private parking are included.
Charming and comfortable
Reviewed By andrewhookerStayed here for two nights last week. We were attending a wedding in a nearby town, with a party in Aquileia. We wished we had chosen Casa Delneri for the entire week. Reception was warm and friendly, and even arranged a taxi from the station. Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for the great team there, and all were friendly and polite. The room was elegant, comfortable, clean and stylish. The wine bar is fantastic with some great local wines recommended. Breakfast was delicious, and generous. We ate outside in the lovely garden, on a table for 4 with our friends. The Casa Delneri costs less than our other hotel and was far nicer. We have already decided we want to stay here again for a vacation, perhaps with cycle hire. If you are thinking of Aquileia as a destination, do not miss this charming hotel. I wish all hotels were this good. Thank you to all the warm, friendly team for a wonderful stay.

Great location, good food, some maintenance issues
Reviewed By CanadianKraut0901The Location is incomparable: next door and with a (bathroom) view of the basilica of Aquileia. We had a number of meals there; best is the seafood such as Fritto di mare and of course, the marvelous pastries and cakes. The clothes rail was poorly mounted and loose; in the bathroom the heating was stuck together with a plaster … and did not work during our stay. A shade over the reading lamp could not be lowered so the glare disturbed if is was turned on. Reported on the first day, it was - as the heating - never fixed.

Simple but Nice
Reviewed By peetajohnThe campsite is a grassy one with lots of tree cover and laid out in simple rows. There was lots of space when we went so no crowding at all. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. The location is great because it is within walking distance of the town and the basilica and all the roman remains and has an excellent restaurant just next door. The toilet and shower was OK - not great but not bad - and kept reasonably clean. There was a swimming pool, free to use. Strangely it had a permanent swimming guard and an atomatic shower over the entrance so you had to take your clothes off before you entered the pool area - odd. Overall we thought this a really nice campsite - but we are a couple, if you had children this is probably not for you.

The Domus Augusta hostel is a rational construction renovated in 2000. Its structure and organization is simple and efficient, the rooms are spacious and basic. The bathrooms are separate, but dedicated to their own room. The maximum capacity is 92 people. Domus Augusta is an ideal place for budget holidays for families or groups, comfortable accommodation and ideal starting location for visiting all points of interest of the surrounding area and regional trips.

Reviewed By Neyc PThe hotel staff is quite nice and the hotel itself has a great location, the only thing that really bothered me was the heating. Im not sure if the heating system was broken or something, but the room definitely had less than 10 degrees Celsius. It was really frigid in the room and 3 blankets and covers was barely enough. Otherwise the hostel was really tidy except a few stains on the blanket (one of them white :/ ) and there was a second toilet brush in the toilet bowl. In general, its definitely worth the money!

Reviewed By 376enricagAbbiamo soggiornato due notti nel Break&Bike, prezzo onesto per camere moderne, pulitissime, dotate di Wi-Fi, climatizzate e insonorizzate. Nonostante avessimo la cemera più vicina al bar, gli avventori serali non ci hanno disturbato. L'ambiente è molto cordiale e disponibile, il servizio per i ciclisti di passaggio ottimo, è disponibile anche acqua fresca dalla fontana per riempire le borracce. Tutto in un ambiente molto gradevole. Per gli ospiti che pernottano disponibili biciclette gratuite e deposito per le biciclette di proprietà. Consigliatissimo!

Reviewed By exiledblueAnother positive review. It is away from the town which means apart from farming noises, animals and the wind its very relaxing and quiet. Bikes are available free of charge to explore Grado and Aquilea, both about 7km away. The apartments feel new and well kept, they are clean, have wifi, Italian TV and always with hot water despite some cloudy days, Marco was very friendly and always on hand and helped us find a covid test after my daughter had had a fever (negative), he had some good tips for restaurants and other things. Only small negative of which nothing can be done was the noise of the airco system particularly in one of the bedrooms at night and some of the walls are thin! I would strongly recommend this for anyone wishing to explore the area with both Trieste and Udine in easy reach

Per un prezzo contenutissimo (165 euro circa) in cambio abbiamo ricevuto tutto! Ci siamo trovati di fronte a un appartamento privato, moderno, supertecnologico (anche futuristico, direi), con TV smart, cucina con fornelli elettronici, microonde, doccia, due bagni, due letti (di cui un matrimoniale e un divano letto) e frigo bar (gratuito) [il nostro appartamento si trovava all'ultimo piano, in una mansarda molto grande]. Abbiamo avuto anche la possibilità di usufruire dell'uso della SPA gratuitamente! Nella struttura ci sono anche altri 2 appartamenti. In cucina avevamo anche un tavolo per mangiare e abbiamo dormito benissimo, perchè i letti erano veramente comodi. Credo sia stato tutto organizzato e sistemato su esigenza dei vari clienti grazie ai due proprietari che sono stati fantastici, cordiali, accoglienti e molto professionali. Ci hanno detto che la struttura è stata aperta solo nel 2021. Ma hanno già tantissimi clienti! Tra i pochi difetti del nostro appartamento, è importante puntualizzare che non c'erano porte a dividere le due stanze da letto e che neanche il bagno con la doccia la aveva. Quindi consiglierei l'albergo solo alle persone che si conoscono da molto tempo e che non hanno problemi reciproci di privacy. Inoltre, non offrono la colazione, ma si può comunque usare la cucina per qualsiasi pasto della giornata. Check-in dalle 16 alle 19. Check-out entro le 11 del giorno della partenza.
