Reviewed By Mette TBarley Country Inn is amazing! Well, Fenguang is amazing so the place to stay needed to be as magical as the town itself. Barley Country Inn is that place! Beautiful rooms and owners. They will help you get to Fenghuang and back really cheep. Also help you find the best rout if you need to take a train/bus. And even pick you and your luggage up from the stop back to the hotel! Recommend this place for everyone who is going to Fenghung!

Good location to go Tianmen Mountain
Reviewed By gothicgothicIt's far from Tianmen Mountain Ticket office about 2-4 kms. You can take bus 6 from Train/Bus station to hostel, then take bus 4 from hostel to Tianmen Mountain Ticket office. But I dont see any interesting here except Tianmen Mountain so I highly recommend you should stay at Wulingyuan then take the bus to here.

Great Service
Reviewed By Sheridan LWe found the staff very helpful here, especially Roi who met us at our taxi and walked us to the hostel as it was right in the centre of town and hard to find. The location was great and rooms nice and clean. The staff spoke very good English and helped us with directions to get to Guilin, although the bus we were told to get only runs every second day which was not mentioned to us. All in all out stay was fantastic, comfortable rooms, good showers and wifi, excellent service .

Reviewed By ChycMe and my friend stayed at this place, after we spent one night at Wanmingta Kezhan (terrible). Fenghuang is very touristic and there are a lot of hotels. The ones in lonelyplanet are outdated (apart fro Koolaa's Home which was full when we went to fenghuang). So we went to look for other places after we left Wanmingta Kezhan in the morning and found this one. It is a new place (opened 2010) and I hope it will make it into lonely planet. The twin room was nice and very clean, with a modern bathroom. We had a glimps at a doubleroom, and it seemed very nice too. The owners don't speak english but that should not stop you from going there as they are very easy going nice and helpful. There is free internet to use. The Hostel is located in a very quiet area but still close to the center.
