Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping is located down the hill of the very city center, in the artistic part of Vilnius called Uzupis. While walking downhill, the spirit goes up because of the rustic and warm neighborhood around. Main tourist spots are within a slow-walk distance: City hall (10 min), Cathedral (15 min), Bus&train station (20 min). Plenty of green areas around: newly opened park (10 min), river and ponds (3 min). And of course republic of Uzupis just meters away. We call ourselves a forest, because we are located in a big house which is surrounded by trees and a garden. Green is all around our cozy chateau, as we call it. Outside the house we have "Wolf's bar and grill rental" terrace. You can grill your food while sitting in the terrace. Camping ground is on the other side. We are a family-run hostel situated in a quiet street at the border of Vilnius Old Town. The hostel's owners are Aleksandr and Svetlana. We will try to do our best so that your stay in our hostel will become the most comfortable as it could be :) Our goal is to make you feeling like at home and provide you with a great social atmosphere as well as to give you an opportunity to have a good sleep after a busy day of the sightseeing in the city. We are located at the border of the Old Town, so, you can discover the Old Town on foot. A public transport's stop is in a-5-minutes walking distance from our door. The bus and railway stations can be reached less than in a 10 minutes walking. The hostel provides 17 beds and, therefore, is very homely making it easy to meet people and make friends.
