Once known as The Land of the Mountains, the 10,000-square-mile province of Tirol is a wonderland of gushing rivers, lush meadows and rugged peaks. Fantastic hiking trails wind along paths through the Zillertal Alps. Famed resort towns confetti the mountainsides, including Kitzbühel, St. Anton, Ischgl and Seefeld, site of some events in the 1964 and 1976 Winter Games. Compact capital Innsbruck is a medieval gem. The Tirolean identity is strong: Expect to see lederhosen and feathered hats.

Our Mellow Mountain Hostel is the perfect home base for a good time in the Tyrolean mountains. Wether for a trip with your crew to climb, hike, bike, ski or snowboard, or just some private time in the beautiful nature – we’ve got you covered!
The location of this hostel is incredible. You're surrounded by the beautiful mountains, with hikes and cable cars right on your doorstep. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the area so can and will help you plan your excursions and they give you transport passes too which come in handy. They offer breakfast, but there are cooking facilities if you want to make your own meals too. The rooms were spacious, clean and had great views. And the hostel feels more like a 4* hotel. I actually flew into Germany and got the train to Ehrwald which was really easy and the hostel is so close to the station.

This is the best value stay you can have in Kitzbuehel whether you are skiing for a week or exploring the town. They are literally right inside the town and a few steps from any restaurant or place you need to go. It's only 5 minutes to the world famous Hahnenkamm downhill race lift. The breakfast is awesome with a huge selection of everything for a hostel with eggs fresh Dave's, the owner's, hens right on the property. Rabbits and ducks are so cute and running around the open space in the yard that puts a smile on every passing-by tourist's face. Dave is a very hilarious and very knowledgeable person, who is also very kind and helpful; he attended caringly our special needs during our stay. We cannot thank him more, Look at the pictures for yourself. If a traditional hotel type of the stay is not what you require, you will be pleasantly surprised by such a gem of host. Strongly recommended!!!!

The Gasthof Zillertal is a charming old lodge on the edge of town. It is beautifully located against the mountain with a spectacular view over the Ziller and the valley. The town centre is at walking distance. Free transport to the ski lift stops right in front of our building and will take you to the ski area.
I was one of four motorcyclists who stayed here in a top floor two bed apartment for 5 days and used it as a base for our trips around the surrounding area, which is stunning. It is close to the lake and Tux where it is possible to ski all year up on the Glacier. Staff were friendly and attentive with an exceptional knowledge of the local area. Breakfast was good value @€7:50 The accommodation is very basic and a little tired but fully functional. Beds comfortable and towels changed every other day. If you are looking for 3* facilities then this may not be the place for you however if you are a back packer looking for a friendly place to stay then you can’t go wrong.

We are the new renoveted (January 2018) Hostel in Innsbruck, the capital of Austrian Alps. We offer budget accommodation for all kind of travellers. We are located in a quiet neighbourhood in Innsbruck, only 9 minutes by tram from the Railway Station. The hostel offers various types of rooms, a terrace for our guests, bar and common room.
Since the hospitality of the elderly was considered sacred, foreigners were accommodated and refreshed. My second experience with the Hostel Marmota in Innsbruck starts on November 6th, 2020. I book a single room for my son against payment on arrival. Since there were restrictions on Covid 19, my son was accompanied by a letter stating that the trip was not for tourism but for work. On arrival they refused to take my son in because the letter was not appropriate, to say that my son had ridden a motorcycle from Munich to Innsbruck in the cold and rain weather. And not satisfied with the sacrilege of hospitality, they charged my credit card. (And of course, Booking.com supports: blah blah blah ). Keep in mind when you give your credit card to this place or if you have problem.

Looking for an epic mountain holiday?? Our homely chalet has heaps of games, BBQ grill, consoles & arcade machines, two cinemas, poker table, darts, professional foosball table, chill-out lounges, fitness & table-tennis rooms... It is perfectly placed to enjoy a huge range of other activities. We are at the base of a fantastic Austrian ski resort, literally in the heart of the Austrian Alps. The rooms are all cool and unique; lots of funky design and amazing features are to be found everywhere. You can book one of the 3 apartments (for up to 8 people) or pay for all three to have the entire chalet for your group.
I stayed here a while back during an 8-month solo adventure. To this day, this hostel remains the fondest stay in my memory. Not only is the town amazing, but this environment really tops off your stay

The Nepomuks B&B Backpackers Hostel Innsbruck is located in the old city center of Innsbruck. We provide a fully equipped kitchen, the bathroom is to share. The buses to all skiing areas around Innsbruck are free for our guests of the hostel, in summer you can join the free guided hiking programme in the Tyrolean Alps. We serve breakfast in Cafe Munding, the oldest confectionery of the country Tyrol, Austriy right underneath the Nepomuks B&B Backpackers Hostel Innsbruck. We would love to welcome you at our hostel! Anja :) & Almut :)
Stayed here for 2 nights in a 4-person bedroom. Bedroom & bathroom were clean. Small lockers were provided in the room. Check in was done at Cafe Munding. Location is perfect, very much walkable everywhere. Definitely didn’t need any public transportation to go anywhere in old town. Breakfast was great. The earlier you wake up the better the pastries selection will be. WiFi was spotty at best. Reservation is only done through the phone or walk-in, but it was not a problem for non-German speakers like myself because the staffs speak English.

After the hike to the Olpererhütte we enjoyed the spectacular view with an Apfelschorle and Apfelstrudel which was really nice. The service was ok, bit slow and not much motivated at the beginning. Still a great place to rest and enjoy the view.

The Go-Ride Basecamp in the Paznaun Valley in Tyrol. Whether for skiers and snowboarders in winter or for mountain bikers, climbers and hikers in summer, the Basecamp Tirol is the home in the mountains for those who want to actively experience the Alps between Ischgl, Kappl and Sankt Anton. Travelling alone, as a couple or in a group, you will find a mountain lodge that is designed for mountaineers and where you meet like-minded people.
Best place in the area. See, Kappl and Ischgl is very close. Super beautiful montains, good vibes, really nice dudes, rooms are big enough, everithing is clean and sauna is awesome. We go there more times in season with friends since 3 years snowboarding and in the future will do as well??
