What a great place to spend some days/nights in Aguascalientes. The atmosphere is very nice, and the food is delicious(There is a restaurant at the main floor). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sebastián is a great host. The location is also fantastic, very close to all the interesting places like the train station.

Only 50 meters from Ollantaymbo's main square, Tikawasi Valley - Ollantaytambo offers comfortable rooms with views of the garden, free Wi-Fi and original Inca walls in some of them. Trains to Machu Picchu leave 70 meters away. Rooms at Tikawasi Valley - Ollantaytambo have private bathrooms with showers and hot water 24 hours a day. The archaeological site of Ollantaytambo is 100 meters away. There is also a tour desk, bicycle rental service and stoves available upon request. Breakfast with fruit, ham, cheese and bread is served daily.
My husband, brother & wife, two adult daughters and one adult son enjoyed our stay here in the middle of this cultural City. The host was accommodating, arranged a trip to ruins, and transport to the train as well as recommending some fun and interesting restaurants.

Perhaps it'd be the same all over Aguas Calientes as most hotels are on the main street where people walk, stores open and close, and restaurants are bustling. I am NOT a light sleeper but found myself not getting ANY sleep after an all-day Inca trek and a relaxing massage, both of which should have just knocked me out. The windows are not air tight or double paned, which means you'll hear everything at the street level. The Staff was very professional from booking to arrival, even coming to meet me in person after my Trek. The hotel is a higher up from the bus station which is usually not a big deal, except after a long trek, so it's something to consider. BUT given how clean the room and private bathroom is, having not to share with strangers, for a fair price, it's something to consider. Perhaps, ask for a room away from the street? Oh, by the way, I had to leave real early on the first bus up to Machu Picchu, and they kindly left a breakfast brown bag by 4:30am so that I could be at the bus stop by 5am. Very nice of them.

Samay Hostel we are happy to be able to stay in our house, our house is a cozy hostel that welcomes you to live a genuine experience and atmosphere in the Inca city of Olllantaytambo, so that from the moment you arrive at the hostel, you feel Like at home, I will receive you personally. Our facilities are fully equipped with everything necessary to provide guests
Unfortunately the room we booked for 5 people was not available once we came there so they said one off us had to sleep alone with someone else. This was not a nice way to start. We had to complain in order to change. The day after my girlfriend got sick and stayed 2 hours after check out. I had understood that this was okay since she was bad otherwise we would have leaves the room. They made us charge the double amount for the whole room just for two people staying there 2 hours. The hostel was empty so no one really needed that room. I understand that there is an need to pay when you stay after check out. But with a misunderstanding, a sick girlfriend and an almost empty hotel we should not have payed that much. I recommend you come here if you want something cheap but make sure to not get swindled and get what you booked for!

The owners are such nice people, they care a lot. The rooms are clean and spacious, there is heating and hot water. The staff offered us luggage storage for free. The breakfast was delicious, the quinoa pancakes were so good I could eat 10! I would totally recommend this place, muchas gracias amigos! Debora from Italy

We had 4 rooms and this was a good value for a one night stay before visiting Machupicchu. Rooms are modest, but clean. Free wi-fi and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was ok, it consists mainly of breads, Jam, some fruit, tea and cereal. There was a massage place a couple of doors down were I got the best 30 minute back massage, definitely needed it after hiking, traveling and carrying my back pack. The best thing they did for us was store our backpacks while we went to Machupicchu. We picked them up after our visit to Machupicchu. Located next to the hot springs baths.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Killari Hostal. For the price, it is a great value! We had a private room with our own bathroom- with a great shower and hot water! The hosts were great- they cleaned our room for us and also offer breakfast every morning which was a nice treat. The breakfast room overlooks one of the mountains, it is beautiful! The location itself is also great. It is right off the main square in Ollantaytambo and only about a 10 minute walk to the train station. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed here with an organised group, beds are comfortable, feels pretty home-like. Outdoor space is pretty and well maintained. Good location to walk into town or grab a mototaxi. Train line can be noisy but depends how close your room is to the road.
